Hated this at first, ended up loving it. I'm not sure if the movement was janky on purpose or because of the tight time constraints, but getting used to the delay between ending a key press and the character actually stopping moving was very annoying at first, but became very endearing after a minute or two of getting used to it (I'm generally someone who enjoys more off kilter movement systems though, so I may not be the best person to ask). I think the concept has very serious legs as a game I'd enjoy if you wanted to add more levels and polish it further. Adding things like shortcuts (similar to when you have to drop down from the tunnel to put the core in, but maybe unlocking a permanent shortcut by dropping a lever to put up a ramp or something) could help with that. Or a skip to next loop button--sometimes I'd finish a loop with just barely not enough time to go get the next core, and I'd have to sit and wait for the loop to end so that I could start the next loop. Or changing up the movement, making it so you run faster backwards, or move faster while jumping, etc. These are all just dumb ideas I had while playing your great game. Loved it!! Might do a playthrough on hard next. [Screenshot (74).png](///raw/406/f3/z/44a5a.png)
@wamien Ah, I thought the reset lever was hard mode only haha, that's super helpful. I followed you on Itch, so I'm looking forward to whatever you make next!
Very fun and pretty game, worked in the theme especially well.
The gameplay really simulated what work conversations feel like, and the audio and graphics were fantastic! Loved this game.
This is absolutely fantastic, I hope that a lot of people get to play this.
Really cool, I enjoyed how linear the progression was.
It took me a minute to figure out exactly how the gameplay loop worked outside of moving the claw around to pick up items, but the boss was fun and the art and sound were both incredible. The little pops of getting new items was really fun too.
Really fun, simple (in a good way), and addictive game, with really incredible presentation. Loved it!
I don't normally like puzzle games, but this game had so many levels that felt like there were so many different ways to solve it. Really fun and creative.
I liked this game a lot on my first couple attempts, and absolutely loved it by the time I hit the final end screen. I hope that everyone plays enough to see the final end screen. Really looking forward to see whatever you make next.
Very fun and stylish game. I liked that there were no real failstates, that getting hit just took away your next shot. Prevented the game from feeling unfair, but it was still fun and challenging.
I had a really fun time with this, it took me 3 tries and I had fun getting a little further each time. It was cool to see a platformer that made the fact that you have a long floaty jump be a more difficult factor due to the time limit. The sound FX were a nice touch too.
This game was very cool and was a fantastic fit for the theme in both the narrative and gameplay. I liked it a lot and got a lot of laughs out of it.
Really great game, tough to control but not unfair. Dying setting you back a screen, but not the complete beginning, is very fun and punishing.
Really loved the music and art, gameplay was good but difficult.
Solid game that looked great. Not sure if the audio only being on the left side was intentional or a glitch, but either way you only had a handful of hours so well done lol.
Felt very fresh and familiar at the same time. Loved it!
This was really really cool, I especially loved the art design. I'll definitely install this on my 2DS next time I dig it up.
Loved the look of this game, it was really gross in a good way. Very cool that there was a tutorial, too.
Really awesome game, funny and absolutely beautiful to look at.
I liked this game a lot, and would probably pay for it on Steam or something if you decided to add more content to it (and balance the upgrade costs a bit, as at the moment they take a long time to get, especially later on). The game really fun twist on twin stick shooters that made it feel fresh, I loved it.
Links don't seem to be working!
This was a lot of fun and very difficult, but the checkpoints were so close together that the difficulty didn't get annoying.
Would've been helpful to have some in game tutorial text but really cool concept that worked very well with the theme!
I really liked the look of it, and the controls took some time to get used to but felt great once I was used to it.
