Simple, but the narrative's solid.
It's pretty solid. Works well, good visual feedback, looks good. I agree that it could do with some music, though.
I was pleasantly surprised by the level design! The graphics are simple, but get the job done. I would have liked some audio, though.
Overall, good work!
There's not much I can say that hasn't been said before. Kudos for actually making me laugh with a yo mama joke!
Thank you all for your feedback. I've been miserable at responding, but the game is being tweaked. I want you folks to know that your feedback is being taken into account.
I think the game looks very nice, and I didn't find any glitches. It would have been nice to have some auditory feedback when the player deals damage, though. An animation for using a weapon would also help a great deal, as at first I thought attacking didn't work.
This one's pretty sweet. Looks great, it's fun, and it's got good music. The only complaint I have is that the controls aren't as responsive as they could be.
I like a lot of the ideas that went into this, but there's a pretty major sticking point: a lack of visual or auditory feedback. There's no sound or effects for things like firing the weapons, being hit, hitting enemies, and the like.
The gameplay's actually pretty solid, but without the aforementioned effects, the overall experience is pretty empty.
That brought a smile to my face!
The artwork was adorable, the sounds were great (although if I wanted to nitpick I'd say they were a bit loud), and the the gameplay was solid.
One other small gripe: it would have been nice to have some feedback for then the player "dies". A puff of spooky vapors, a moan, that kinda stuff.
I must say I enjoyed this game greatly. The story was well told, and the for the most part the game worked well.
A word of warning to future players, though: the first email you receive contains an important typo. I had to dig around on the git repo to figure it out. For anyone stuck on that part it's 'Palenice', not 'Palanice'.
This piece started of pretty strong. Decent graphics, strong ambiance, but then I got the first pill. The belch took me out of it a bit. Then I got to the first doll, and saw it was t-posing until I got super close. I gotta be honest, that killed the experience for me.
I think what happened here was that you guys went for something a little too "big". Something smaller in scale would allow the team to hunt down and squash stuff like that, and ultimately deliver a stronger experience.
I love the concept, but I found the game does not control well, and that the audio was very grating.
Cool little game. Controls can be a bit of a pain to use, but not enough to ruin the experience.
It's a cool concept to be sure. Looks nice. Sound design's on point. Bit of a pain to navigate the gameworld. Coming back up happens pretty fast and the camera makes it hard to see where we're going.
Plays well, lots of polish, and great sound design. Level design's a bit brutal, and not really in a fun way. Pretty solid overall. I do love the idea!
Dayum! Love the concept. Got kind of a Splatoon vibe from the soundtrack, but it works really well! Got a nice simple, charming visual style, and it's fun as hell to play. Only gripe is that I'm not sure it fits the theme too well.
Very impressive! Had some trouble actually finding the objects in question, but otherwise enjoyed this game. It looks gorgeous, and the inclusion of a proper menu is all too rare, so I was thrilled to see that!
So far this is one of the best entries I've played yet! The soundtrack kicks ass, the graphics are clean, and the gameplay is solid! Kudos.
Glowwy ghost bonks manager. More at 11'. In all seriousness, the game looked nice, but played a little clumsy.
Well... that was a trip-and-a-half. Fun, though! Concept is the best kind of ridiculous.
Solid concept. Looks nice. Not a whole lot of "game feel", though.
I think it's a respectable first game, and I'm glad you chose to jam with us! It is pretty rough to play, however. The slow acceleration makes the game feel clumsy to play.
Love the concept. The mood was remarkably tense. Music was beautiful. Graphics were simple, but they did their job. I found myself expecting a big reveal of some kind, and was a tad let down when that didn't happen.
Overall it was an intriguing piece. Good work!
