This is a great game - the dark, hand-drawn aesthetic suits this really well, and I found myself really sinking into the zone with the gameplay and audio drawing me in. I completed it first time so perhaps it could benefit from some additional challenge, but a really strong LD51 entry. Awesome job!
Simply fantastic! The theme was on point, the aesthetic was really fun and well suited, the gameplay was fair but challenging, the graphics and audio were really nice, and overall I just had so much fun playing this. I had to keep going until I got on the leaderboard (6th place at the time of writing), spending maybe 20-25 mins playing.
Great job!
Fun jam game - played until I had an army at my finger tips that protected my cauldron just through existing heh. Cool concept and fits well with the theme. Great job
This was a fun game that really kept me on my toes. I like the premise, the implementation kept me on my toes, the gameplay really asks a lot of you in those later levels with many cars. You've done a great job with this, it kept me coming back for more
Great game - love the visuals and the gameplay is fun. The 'Papers, please' vibes are perfect here, and I love the characterisation of the eyes from the slot too. The first time those crazy ones showed up I laughed out lout
Very nicely done, this is a really good game
Love the visual style, audio was great too and the premise behind it is really interesting - good use of the theme.
I found the controls a little sticky at times, getting wedged in places or jump not responding when i'd expect it too. I also found which areas were 'safe' during the radiation beams inconsistent, so it wasn't always clear where I would actually be safe and where just looked safe in theory.
A good game overall and I enjoyed it, particularly the aesthetic. Some things to work through but a great jam submission. Good job
@mgnta Thanks very much for playing, and my condolences to your poor laptop
@zl17 Thanks for playing, and the feedback about the text is appreciated. I'll look at how I can contrast it a bit better for ease of reading
Awesome visuals (love the aesthetic), fun gameplay loop and good use of the theme. I found the switches in music to be jarring in places but overall I really enjoyed this, so much so I played it twice. Great job!
That was really fun - I got to level 101 by my third attempt which shows how much I enjoyed it! The choice mechanic is great and really ramped up the power trip, though despite me feeling god-like at times the game caught up and made enemies tankier and more tricky as I went on. The regular upgrades meant that I never felt stagnant as something was always changing or improving.
Simple in concept but well executed - great job!
This was an interesting use of the theme - I didn't notice the waters ebbing and flowing at first, but getting caught out in the water soon woke me up to it! Subtle but effective. Simple and enjoyable, though I didn't know how far away I was from death I was which I would have liked.
This is a solid, fun jam game. Good job!
This is a solid jam game - gameplay is fun, use of the theme is good, visuals and music fit; great work! The last level was great, the reversal took me by surprised but it made for a fun flow as I kept going.
The use of the theme was really nice - very stylistic and not an obvious choice. The aesthetic is awesome, the audio is very on point, I really enjoyed the writing and in general its just a great jam game. Good job all
10/10 would accidentally throw whipped cream can to the unreachable back of the room again
In all seriousness, a great game that really ramps in difficulty. By day 5 I could only manage 1 order before all my other customers were angry. There's a lot of complexity there and very high difficulty but the gameplay is pretty solid. Great job
I had a lot of fun playing this one - the strategy of chosing cards is nice and you can quickly end up in hot water with the wrong combo. Great job, this is a really nice jam game
This is a great game - I really enjoyed it! Nice use of the theme, graphically looks great, the music of each rule fits well, the gameplay is interesting and challenging but fair. Excellent work
I'm completely blown away - what a fantastic game. Between the visuals, the story, the great music, the interesting gameplay, the constant switching of focuses, I felt like I was actually trying to figure things out in my head. Piece by piece I was able to concentrate more and more as I figured out one puzzle and I was less torn.
Genuinely love this game - my favourite one of the jam!
Interesting use of the theme - I particularly like that each time you age you have a different skillset. Surprisingly challenging at times too. Great job
@indigoninja This is a great game - I enjoyed it a lot even though it totally kicked my ass  It was a little unclear what was expected of me early on, but once I understood I really got into it. Very challenging and punishing, so not for the faint of heart, but a game that had me trying for about 15 mins to beat my top score (8 FYI). Great job!
Nice, simple game that does its job well. Solid use of the theme, and once I got the hang of how to move it was good fun. Great work
What an awesome game - this was a pleasure to play. The visuals and audio were excellent, they really complemented the narrative. I love the really subtle use of the theme to have the pulses hit every 10 seconds with increasing severity as you move forward. I REALLY wanted to know what happened, the background around all this, how the main character got involved, etc.
This is really well done, from the atmosphere to the implementation - very nicely done
