I like that the maps are random and the steering feels very smooth and polished, also the art is cute too. Well Done! :)

interesting 69/420
Simple but addictive gameplay. One thing I think this game would benefit from is a slightly smaller hitbox for the car, or maybe the introduction of "coyote time". It seemed like even if the tinyest pixel went over the edge it was game over!
Really nice random maps generated. Some times I was lucky enough to have quite some straight roads :D The only part that I find it makes it extra hard is that you lose just by the edge touching the water. Nice work!
Fun, straightforward game. Could use a bit of polish on the graphics, but it's very playable.
Very challenging :) I like the random maps.
Simple concept yet alot of fun. Tryna get round the curves was really interesting with the car physics, they feel super good to use! The random maps are a nice touch to add some variety, and the art style is pretty cool! Wish there was some background music tho.
Simple, but very fun game. Realization cool. My max score 127. My rating 9/10
Simple and fun, randomized map is interesting by making the game harder, well done.
Nice entry!
Somehow the control felt a bit laggy and difficult. I'd try to make the car turn a bit sharper and with less inertia.
Also I'd suggest decreasing the size of the hitbox for the car. It can be frustrating to lose the game when you barely touch the pixel of the end.
I like how the level was procedurally generated. It made me want to play more times to try and better my score. The only problem was I was unable to learn from previous runs. I understand that it was a trade off and I think you choose wisely. Solid entry and fun.
Very challanging, but definitely playable game.
Nice job!
I had fun with this game, such a simple concept! The car felt really satisfying to control, at first I was worried it was too heavy but I soon was able to really lean into the corners and wind my way around the track. The random track generation was a nice touch as well, it really added to that replay value. I think as previously mentioned having a smaller hitbox may have added to the game feel, I think it would be fantastic if I would be able to just scrape past a corner with a few pixels over the edge. I think some more variety would also be welcome, some obstacles, or other track components, but that is hard when you're making a game to a time limit. Despite these few issues though I had fun! This was simple but effective, nice work
I liked the random maps. For some reason I had to use space to start rather than a.
best.png this was the best i could do. i liked the challenge of controlling the car, though i think most of that challenge was my impatience :P
I like how the game difficulty is tuned well. It is not too easy to be boring nor too hard to be frustrating.
It's a simple but fun game, made me pass 5 minutes so that's a win in my book. As always on these kind of game, I'd suggest adding a "Best score" feature which always give more of an incentive to replay.
A nice classic feeling game. I think a little more leeway with the hitboxes would be appreciated, but that's really the only nitpick I could think of. It feels satisfying to nail a turn and has a very addictive quality to it. I found myself wanting to beat my previous high scores for a while!
As soon as this loaded it immediately gave me nostalgic flashbacks to Spy Hunter on the NES. My high score was 120. I like how brutally unforgiving running into the wall is. I like the tradeoff between speed and dangerousness versus distance. It's a simple concept, but you've done a good job with it.
It seems like something lets you extend your time, perhaps distance. It might be nice to give the player a stronger sense of where that line is so they can better balance the speed versus carefulness tradeoff.
Oh, and are the levels completely procedural? Good job. Great game all around!
well done generating random race tracks, the contorls are nice and it's another one of those rage game, i love it :p
Controls are tricky but satisfying to pilot, and nice job with the procedural generation. It can definitely be punishing for small mistakes but it's manageable. I didn't realize at first that there was a way of extending your time, but it is pretty well balanced. Might have been wiser to put that information on this page, a lot of people might miss it. Overall, good job, feels very good to play.escape.png
Simple (in a good way), intuitive gameplay, controls can feel a bit sluggish and water hitboxes feel wonky at times
i liked the game :) made it to 242 seconds Screenshot 2022-04-10 125119.png
Nice! I scored 189. I thought it was a cool, simple game. The driving, turning, acceleration + deceleration all felt good. Would have been nice to let the car overlap the edge of the road a teeny bit before dying, even if that means changing nothing but the size of the car image and leaving the hitbox.
Nice job!!
Despite the theme being 'Delay the inevitable' I still find myself being frustrated when I keep dying. However, that desire to do better brings you back for more.
Has a clear retro aesthetic and a simple but effective mechanic. Well done!
The car handles well and was satisfying to drive. I appreciated the front wheels visibly turning. It would have been nice to be able to reverse. That would have saved me in a couple of places. The insta-kill on slightly touching the edge wasn't great though.
Nice little game! The controls feel just right not super precise and not too slow to crash on every corner. Makes for a really enjoyable gameplay!
Since you're in the extra maybe consider adding some music? That would improve experience even further. Nice job anyway.
Thanks for submitting your game to my stream, here's a recording in case you'd like to see it: https://youtu.be/hPPKMGZGGDs
Nice game! Thanks for submitting :) here's the VOD: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1452837883
Very nice game! the controls felt great, and it was impressive how you managed to generate the map!
A few races this morning and a new world record of 399 points.

Cool little game! I like the procedural roads.
Very nice, simple yet fun game to play :-)
I like how it reminds me of early nintendo games. If I would add a critique, I think it's too simple, maybe you should add more stuff, but it is great for a jam with a big time restriction.
game's mechanics and objectives are on-point, feels like a retro nintendo racing game, controls are challenging given the turns but they feel smooth as well, nice one!
A nice little entry here! The gameplay is simple, but it's easy to understand, and invites players to get better at it.
The game is really smooth and the controls are pretty interesting. Reminds me a bit of Flappy Bird and Retry, being as addictive and having a similar feel.
