simple game but super polished man good job love the art style
I loved the graphics and it played very well! I wonder whether I was missing something though. Am I supposed to do anything with the symbol at the center? Otherwise I was just killin slimes like it was my job. Very pleasant game. Not totally sure how it related to the theme, but that's cool.
The game did crash at the end. I think it was after wave 5. I absolutely love your art style, and the light effect from the middle of the circle is great. I can personally see only one downside, and that is the lack of audio. I think the experience would have been on another level by having some background music, shooting sounds and some "umpf" sounds for hitting enemies. Would love to play longer version of this game with more enemies and attacks :) keep it up!

But that's okay (: I still loved the game! Graphics look amazing, and game is fun. Adding audio could be great. Btw is there a link with the theme? Maybe it is revealed at the end and I didn't see it. Anyway great game, congrats :D
Yeah, I also loved the graphics very much, and wish I could play it more, but errors make this impossible - blue slime always crashes on me. No rating, will get back to check later.

Beautiful game. Environment, lighting and the bullets are all super gorgeous. The player movement is a bit slow for my taste, but gameplay feels good. With more waves and enemies, I could keep playing this for a while.

I really like the art! One small thing, the game crashed when I tried to resize the window.
It is a cool game only it gave me errors at one point, i don't think it had anything to do with a specific script or something. Might just be my pc doing some weird stuff or something

Sadly I wasn't able to play this game properly as the keyboard controls don't work, and having to use my XBox controller + mouse is physically impossible.
Really nice looking graphics, solid gameplay, and I didn't have any kind of problem trying to play it. The player moves a little bit too slow, but overall this game is really nice.

Graphics are good, the animations are nice too. Everything is working properly, it's just missing some sound.
I really like that pixel art style (especially how you combined lighting with it). It's also a very polished game with really nice looking particle effects. You should have added some sound though. At least from SFXR. But anyways, it's a nice game.
I didn't have any problem launching and playing it and it's good because this game is well crafted. First of all, love the artwork ! It has this cool looking pixel art that everyone loves and it's very well done. The controls are fine but I would rather have the dash button linked to the right click of the mouse rather than the C key because it's a bit hard to get it right as you move. It feels good to play and I hope you develop it further because I think it has potential: the idea that you have to "sacrifice" your current amount of health to get new power cood be developped even further with other bonused, better stats, etc... Great work, I hope you go on with this project :)
I dig the art style, and the mechanics are pretty good and responsive. The enemies are good but more variety would have been great. :smiley:
And also the heart pickup's hitbox could have been a bit bigger :slight_smile: And a real ending would have been nice, even if it's just a text.
Btw it crashed for me when I wanted to enlarge the window, so I had to play with low screen, and sometimes there were issues as well.

A truly beautiful and fun game. There could be more waves and skills to buy though. Also moving your character is a pain.

(at least credit him if you're not the creator) -no audio **Good things** -the shadows are very nice and well done -the concept is good and solid -nice character art (this also seems like HeartBeast's art, maybe you're him idk lol) -the theme has been respected

full screening the game results in fatal error. Game does not show any kind of win when you finish. Getting to "C" in order to dash when holding "D" to go left is to difficult. I would suggest mapping dash to space bar.
The game has a great look and style about it, and is fun to play. It does need more instruction and feedback so the player knows what to do once they pass all 7 waves. You should definitely continue working on this game after the jam, add sound, upgrades, levels, and polish and this game will have the potential to be a great game. Well Done!
