Very nice work for your first game! It's simple and challenging at once! Something like a impulse which dashs the enemies away would have been nice. But i enjoyed it. Well done! :)

Hey there, I thought the idea behind this game was really well done, the hard part of the game is dodging all the atoms. I think that if you want to, you should have all the atoms come in in smaller amounts at the beginning, and then have the amount of atoms increase over time. Also maybe think about having the atoms be a little slower, making them a tiny bit easier to dodge, and maybe make the amount of energy you lose a little bit slower. My feeling is that the longer someone plays your game, the more fun they can have, and when I played it, the game only lasted for like 5 to 15 seconds. All in all you did a really good job with this! Nice work!!
The controls are akward and the movement is a little slow. Nice first game anyway. ;)

Great mechanic! It has what it needs, a god core mechanic, visual feedback on the powers (I love it that when you run faster the rest of the balls can't catch up). Difficulty is fair, not punishing since you can always use a power up to exit though situations. Very good!
Pretty simple mechanic but it was enjoyable to play for a while. It was hard to remember what each of the power ups did. Maybe having an icon or something instead of just a color change would have helped? Nice job regardless.
Nice work on a well-made game. I found the controls slightly awkward, although the minimal UI is really cool. It's pretty punishing too (touching a single grey atom is effectively instant death), but that's not a bad thing. Increasing the player sprite's speed a bit might make it feel more responsive and slightly ease the difficulty curve.
Simple, but fun. Graphics look nice, gameplay is easy to understand, but after some plays it gets repetirive. Overall fun little game.

I'm not too clear on what the orbs floating around me were doing, and until I read the description I didn't understand what changing my color accomplished. But beyond that, the game's really fun. It's decently balanced, with no real issues with controls or hitboxes. Feels fun to play, and the design's solid.
When freezing the enemies, it seems like any new enemies that spawned at the edge of the screen were able to move before the time was out. I don't know if this was intentional, but it felt a bit odd. Didn't notice any other bugs.
All in all, a simple game, but one I definitely enjoyed.
@amras0000 We are aware of that bug. Because we were short on time when we noticed it we couldn't fix it on time but it shouln't effect the gameplay too much. Nevertheless thanks for noticing it.

Hello guys, congratulations on releasing your first game!
Your mechanics are simple and that is often convenient on mobile platforms. I think you could build on this and end up with a successful game, but you still have a lot of work to do.
At this point the game feels repetitive after a while. I would like to suggest few improvements that you could try out :wink: * Movement is really limited. It seems like you have fixed movement speed on main atom. I would Lerp it up and make it so that the movement speed is higher as the distance between atom and the pointer increases. This gives a player a lot more maneuvering space. * Make it so that the difficulty rises with time. You could randomize speed or size of atoms. Add some special effects to "enemy" atoms too(pull, push, some interaction with close atoms..for example making bonds between them that could block you etc., your options are infinite) * Add more visual effects. Dynamic background..animations. Those can be simplistic and it is absolutely fine, but game needs to live! * Add music that will strenghten the mood of the game.

Cute little game. I found it to be really hard, only made it to 22 points after a 15 or so tries. But I keep trying to get further and survive for just a little bit longer!
Couple of small things: I found it hard to remember what color represented what ability. I'm not quite sure what you could do about it, but it's something I found myself noticing. Also the "Out of Energy" renders underneath the atoms, and I think it would look a tiny bit more polished if it was rendered on top instead.

Cool game. Nice, challenging, fun to play, not bad for the first attempt.
I enjoyed playing this game! I like the idea, simple and dynamic, reminded me to a bullet-hell game-like. I don't know if I'm the only one, but at third time playing I stopped using the habilities. It was hard for me to remember the use and just focusing in the movement I was able to pick the energy without using them. However it was fun, and I want to try the mobile version. Nice job, good luck and see you next jam ;)

Unfortunately I cannot run this Windows 64 bit exe on my 32 bit machine, could you add another build?
This game is a little addictif, the graphics is basic but nice to watch and the theme is respect. Conculsion : this game is nice but with more work, it could have been little better but I like this game :D
Good game but it would have been nice if more or faster enemies would spawn after a certain amount of time because after a while the game got really easy and I stopped playing at around 250 points. More visual and audial feedback for pretty much everything would have improved the game too. All that is not to say that this is a bad game; I'm just pointing out possible improvments. Good job.
I love the idea of this game, but it would have been nice to see the difficulty ramp up or to have different bullet patterns that you need to dodge like in a bullet hell shooter.
This is a terrific game (way better than my first entry :P). I thought that the concept of switching abilities was very creative.

Thanks so much for this fun little game. I really liked trying out all the abilities I have. Yellow is definitely my favorite; in fact, it might be a little bit too powerful :P My only advice is to balance how powerful each ability is. This definitely has potential as a casual game/mobile game. Overall, great job.
I like your use of the theme and how different abilities take different amounts of power. As for the gameplay the controls were great for me and the whole design of the game was good! I only miss some music and sound effects. The game is overall very simple in mechanics but I enjoyed playing it. Great work!

Lovin the Game! First off, is is very simple. "Atom" follows the mouse, try to collect power, dodge flying enemies. Its the perfect idea for a ludum dare game. The gameplay is smooth and everything works really well. Though i do wish that you guys were able to polish off the game. Adding things like some sort of particle when picking up energy, maybe an animation when you use a power or a cool death animation. Nothing that changes the gameplay but things that adds to the game and makes it feel better.

**Overall game impression:** It's pretty simple as far as the idea goes, it's pretty fun as far as gameplay goes and it's quite addicting since you want to do better and be perfect. I really enjoy games like this. I think the movement speed of the character is perfect and gives you a good chance to dodge everything. Good job!
**Suggestions and comments on improvement:** Sound effects would help a lot. Background music, some kind of effect when you pick up things and also when you die.
Really simple game but also really fun one!!! The skills make the game feel very enticing for me... Probably my complaint is the drawing sequence, where the "enemy" is draw on top of player and energy, so it makes sometimes quite hard to see the object.
