nice

ccharkes 2016-12-13 11:34

That was nice to play !

dia6lo 2016-12-15 11:22

Looks fantastic, but when I reached the room..
.. my PC cann't execute it on "Fastest" settings :(

rodobodolfo 2016-12-15 11:57

Very nice visuals and an interesting idea. Each twist on the room was fun especially the platformer one.

kamranwali 2016-12-15 18:55

What a lovely game. I love the transition from old to young. Going back to where it began. I am not sure but I think there is one glitch in the game, when ever I go in the kitchen area thing the music keeps restarting, once I am away from there it is okay again. But the color work, graphics and audio all went well together. This game has some potential if you add a story to it. Keep it up!

smaganik 2016-12-15 22:51

We were planning to add "nightmares room","schoolboy shooter" etc., but couldn't complete them due to lack of time

archonthewizard 2016-12-16 00:06

One of the coolest LD games I've ever played. It took me until the last room to figure out what was going on.

shnitzhell 2016-12-16 00:13

very nice idea! innovative, and looks very well with the graphics. overall - great job!

paidgeek 2016-12-16 00:16

Interesting idea, it took me a minute to figure out what to do. Looks so good that it killed my PC (Fastest settings) :)

sundr0 2016-12-16 00:40

I just looked at the pictures and said : "oh! i need to play this one" :D

Okeym i just finished it...
Amazing visual, amazing feeling, amazing moods, amazing controls, amazing ideas.. this sensation to be and old person, and a baby, and else...
WOW guys, it's just the best Ludum Dare game i just played.. so far !!
It's a 5/5 for you. Keep going making mages like that !
And you should keep working a bit on this one and release it!
Which company are you from? :D

calzep 2016-12-16 01:35

Alright, the graphics are good guys. They are amazing, breathtaking even! But for the love of god not everybody on here has top notch PCs. I can run Far Cry Primal, GTA5, etc. etc. But I CAN'T get a decent framerate out of this game. It killed the experience for me. I'd rather everything not have all those effects If it meant I could just play the game.

The movement in game was already slow enough, but the bad framerate caused me to exit after JUST 3-4 rooms. Please optimize so we can get the full experience.

aemiliu5 2016-12-16 01:42

More profound than the average LD game! Very cool concept and good execution. The lack of guidance made it a tad more difficult than I'd like it, but it suits the game. Just to note - there are some bugs with the music but overall it's great :)

funkydelpueblo 2016-12-16 02:21

Wow, this was awesome! Art style was fantastic, but especially I think this game showcases how game aspects like movement controls, camera, and filters can change the entire meaning of a game. Great use of the theme, too!

teamscripta 2016-12-16 02:52

I love this game! the graphics are amazing and its super fun. The whole time I was playing I had my mouth open.

cole-chittim 2016-12-16 03:12

Honestly my favorite game I've played so far this jam! Absolutely fantastic use of story with the game play! At first I was really confused and thought the movement was glitched in the first room but after a couple restarts I figured it out. My favorite level was the "don't touch the lava" level! It cracked me up XD

fussycashew 2016-12-16 03:17

Haha! I love this concept, similar to an idea I had early on. Great graphics and visual aesthetic!

martymon 2016-12-16 03:24

great idea, great graphics

afinkyu_pheaky 2016-12-16 03:27

Very pretty game

stylo21 2016-12-16 08:23

Lovely game, tried going backwards on the initial hallway and was surprised.

qfrct 2016-12-16 11:39

The Living Room of Benjamin Button : )
Nice use of a single space.
I get stuck too long in the psychedelic/drug room: where are that bloody 3rd bottle ! I almost gave up.
But I found it, finally.
Congrats : )

jsmars 2016-12-16 11:41

Any tips on what to do? Only thing I can reach before being too slow are the glasses, which only removes to blur, tips?

smaganik 2016-12-16 11:43

Try to open the door and walk out of the room

uliana-galich 2016-12-16 13:09

Is that voxel? I made my game in voxels too :) good job!

jk5000 2016-12-16 13:56

Very interesting!!! Well done.

jsmars 2016-12-16 14:49

I can't reach the door on the other side of the room at all, my speed starts to slow as soon as I enter the room and I can't even get past the sofa table.

smaganik 2016-12-16 15:26

Coz you are old in that room and need some rest (stop walking go a while)

smaganik 2016-12-16 15:27

For*

przekop 2016-12-16 17:31

It killed my pc, but on fastest 620x480 it was playable, maybe next time less filters, and more content. Theme interpretation was pretty good.

hores 2016-12-16 19:53

Woooow! This is the best game I've played from this jam so far! Everything came together so perfectly on this one. (Maybe except for the music transitions and the silent corner on the left :D ) I would love to know how you created the disco room ;-)

marcosfl 2016-12-16 20:03

Awesome visuals, I'm really impressed that my pc could run it. Also really fun to play, really well done.

doubtfulgames 2016-12-17 05:05

Very pretty, and I liked the starting-without-glasses-and-then-finding-your-glasses thing. It had a nice effect. Good work!

jsmars 2016-12-17 23:44

Can't believe it took me so long to let go of the forward key and then try again. Really nice experience! Ending is a bit anticlimatic tho, or did I do something wrong? I just exited the door after being a baby and all was white.

smaganik 2016-12-18 10:23

There is a "find a mommy" ending which makes you sleepy

split82 2016-12-18 13:00

Very impressive graphics and nice use of theme :) Very well done!

fufi 2016-12-18 16:55

Nice entry! Graphics are terrific, even though I almost got blind while transiting to the LSD room ^^ Good job ;)

stending 2016-12-19 14:52

I love the idea, really well executed, it look fantastic and you really feel "who you are" in the first room and two last room (other room work well too !), i think it's really brillant what you did with the theme, and the level of polish is really impressive

bigbuggames 2016-12-20 21:31

This was a great surprise... Loved it.

blackbulletiv 2016-12-21 23:22

Great concept, brilliant graphics.

palarus 2016-12-24 10:14

Liked the different effects. I stuck at the psychedelic one. Good work!

minato4th 2016-12-27 16:23

Guys you done a very great game in a part of visual and audio. Great Job!

But honestly I didn't understand what I should to do, plus movement of character is very bad, I stack at least 4 times..

tkachov 2016-12-29 11:23

And that, children, is why you shouldn't overuse shaders.

Your game got the looks, and nice track, but because of the shader it's slow as hell and (not sure if that's intended) if you don't move to the next room you eventually become so slow that you almost don't move (or may be you don't move at all, just see the "walking" camera animation).

I couldn't find anything interactable, and thus I didn't see any gameplay at all. Walking through the shiny room doesn't count. Btw there are reflections on the TV, but the hero obviously is not reflected, though it would've been a nice thing if he did.

tkachov 2016-12-29 11:47

Okay, I gave it another shot and it actually was pretty fun. I liked the "floor is lava" room the most. But seriously, try to do something so it wouldn't be so slow because of the shaders.

pmarincak 2016-12-30 02:09

Very interesting concept, however when I got to the um- rainbow colored room? Maybe room 3 or 4, I got very sick from trying to navigate the room so I had to stop playing.

Other than that, it would be nice if the mouse controls were better, turning with the mouse made it almost impossible to ever see which objects I could click on because it was always half way across my second screen and not in the main window.

It would also be nice for a "door unlock" sound effect when you find the item you're looking for so I don't spend my time looking for more items.

Great job!
