| Oct 19 21:44:46 | Stardust | ♥ 1 | Really like the overall aesthetics and sound. I have always been found of the life of stars, seems really romantic for me to learn about how they grow, light up the universe, and finally come to a silent end (even in physics class I find this theme appealing). Now that as player I get to see all the cool graphics and a full life cycle, that's great!! Satisfying to see the numbers piling up as the star grows (some foundation chem / physics that make up so much more) | |
| Oct 19 21:52:53 | 8m 07s | BOGEY OR BANDIT | ♥ 1 | I also like the color of your itch page ahhah. The overall UI style really attracts me. I really like how the words are typed out, and how the "Top Secret" sheet pops up. Might be better if the game has a bgm, but maybe this quiet, focused view on the radar tech conveys the atmosphere just as intended. Also, seems like the radar "hitting" area is the brightest green. I wonder what the following three-colored fading area mean, cause there seems not to be a punishment for hitting not exactly at the intended place, outside of wasting a bit of time. Overall very interesting to play! |
| Oct 19 22:00:37 | 7m 44s | Semaphore | ♥ 0 | Really enjoyable when bats and fireballs come in a row, cause then I don't need to change the orientation a lot. Cute drawing! Might be my luck issue or interest as dnd lover, but seems like I'm getting a lot of fireballs. Considering the logic, it is slightly puzzling to warn the villagers about a fireball when it is already at the village gates. Other than that, the semaphore fits the old tech theme really well and good job with the tutorial! I like operating with the signals and it is fun to twist twist then wuush, signal sent |
| Oct 19 22:11:00 | 10m 23s | SnakeSketch | ♥ 1 | Really interesting sketch like ui and game toy! (I somehow wasn't able to control the snake initially, had to restart once for it to work, might be just an exception) Spent a couple minutes trying to get used to the controls, but sadly itch cut off the knobs so I can't see the hint during the game (after trying wasd arrow keys and space, I then saw the hint). I kept accidentally running into my own trail but it is fun to play |
| Oct 19 22:16:18 | 5m 18s | Zombie Apocalypse | ♥ 0 | Cool! so many zombies on your itch page. Awesome! → zombies come in a swarm → died clutching a precious chip. Interesting to play and it is just so tempting when I saw chips and have to give up my weapons for it. Easy to hop on board and play, but might need some more practice to fully learn how to fight all the zombies. Nice zombie art and I like how they dissolve after dying *smile |
| Oct 20 08:26:52 | 10h 10m | Quiet Carriage | ♥ 1 | I really like all the visuals, marvelous!!! This old fashioned style and the cards really attracts me. I like how as player I can accompany the guests along their trip. I collected quite a lot of smiles, but the icons are kind of puzzling to me, not knowing what they are for and whether or not I can / should click them. It is sweet to step back a couple decades and learn about the history. For the left and right switching between carriages is a bit troubling for me. I kept getting passengers at the very edge of my screen. Might be better if the view moves along with the mouse. (lovely train, love it) |
| Oct 20 08:36:27 | 9m 35s | THE LAST WORD | ♥ 3 | At first glance I already fall in love with the graphics, with the old cinema styled intro and newspaper style (not sure how to describe it). I like your itch page decorations as well. Funny how the characters burp out their words. The motion and screen movement are really smooth and it is interesting to play, filling out the pages and making my own decisions on which content to fill. The stamp is very satisfying and I actually have the urge to stamp the full page. |
| Oct 20 08:42:08 | 5m 41s | 10 Hours per Mile | ♥ 1 | Might be better if you add some pics in your post. Allowing web gaming on itch might also attract more players. Like how you added chickens in the game. This adds a bit of fun |
| Oct 20 08:43:27 | 1m 19s | Signal Baron | ♥ 0 | can't find your game |
| Oct 20 08:53:01 | 9m 34s | Stitch, Snip, Ship | ♥ 1 | Judging from the cover, the day I was struggling to submit my own game, I decided that I will play this game and indeed, love it!!! Great job finishing such a game in 48h!!! So funny how I stitched cloths together without a plan in mind and then later picked them up realizing that I now have a huge chunk. Took me a bit of time to get used to the controls, but indeed such machines are a bit tricky to learn in the real world so I guess that's ok. Very creative art pieces and music. (really like the customers who only want one color. maybe add some more time for trickier customers, or in the lottery box add some tools, for example a one-time usage pair of scissors to cut a previously woven together piece of cloth) |
| Oct 20 15:44:58 | 6h 51m | A Little Piece of You | ♥ 0 | Really satisfying to play around with the printing machine while listening to the lofi music, and I also enjoyed typing on the piece of old tech. Nice bound with the theme, and I guess retro really can be loved in a modern world like today. Cute furry Alice and our pink paw! I like how there are colors in this black and white world. Lore might be a bit easier to read if you keep full sentences on one page though. Small issue: can't see my paw in some of the ui (e.g. trash this work pop up window) ScreenShot_2026-10-20_174339_144.png *↑ A blush for Alice :P |
| Oct 20 17:30:44 | 1h 45m | Textolite | ♥ 5 | this is so cool!! love the music and graphic. A bit of Halloween vibe and some cyber tech feeling to the beats. The motions of the bot and the monsters are very well polished! I especially like how the bot looks at the mouse. Enjoyed playing it, didn't survive too long but it was fun. The melee attack range is slightly frustrating and I kept missing my ranged shot. This makes things hard but still, well made! a challenge but nice |
| Oct 20 17:43:42 | 12m 58s | Repair Permission | ♥ 1 | Always have a certain kind of love for terminals. The instructions and overall visuals are really clear and direct to read. Like the guide and manual, always useful to have them :p Good concept and tie to the theme! I enjoyed typing and chatting with the terminal, and also loved the tab complete and up arrow key to reuse my command from earlier on. Might be useful to add some typing sound effects (but programmers usually enjoy simplicity so I think it is fine as well). Thanks for the hard work, always hard to work together equally as a team. |
| Oct 20 18:31:33 | 47m 51s | Pinball "Repair" SIMULATOR | ♥ 1 | Really well made!! I enjoyed playing this. I've always enjoyed pinball (even though my skills with it is a bit lousy) and it now has more fun with the repairs!! The fire reminds me not to fall too deep into the pinball game, but to watch out for the components. It is fun to alternate between repair and gaming, great idea to do that! The 3d camera movement is also smooth and overall graphics really fitting to the theme. |
| Oct 20 18:39:00 | 7m 27s | Carbineball | ♥ 1 | Great cartoon visuals and fun music and sound effects! I enjoyed clicking around to let the, emm, yellow fuzzy buddy with two arms point at that place. Fun to play and I got myself onto the leaderboard. Nice to have some competitions, thx for your really polished game. I think this has the potential to be a party game. My trick to this is to get the ball stuck somewhere narrow, and seems like I can cheat some points from that. |
| Oct 21 17:13:55 | 22h 34m | The Power Glove Odyssey | ♥ 1 | Cool game! Music is really nice, and great job without AI hahaha. I often mix the decoration animcation with the bullets and got life deducted, but it is nice to play a bit with arcade games. Fun to play, and I enjoyed the randomness (which take really long to build from what I know, so great job!) |
| Oct 21 17:24:42 | 10m 47s | Bumper Cars Guy | ♥ 0 | I love this concept!! Haven't rode a bumper car in years untill a beer festival a couple weeks ago. Still enjoyed them even though the place is a bit too small. Really helpful to have someone solve jams so we can slam harder :) Really fun to play and I actually also spent a bit of time purely playing around by dodging the car and collecting coins. Really nice pico8 style and partical effects. Great job without AI!!! |
| Oct 23 17:01:25 | 47h 36m | PHOBOS 101 | ♥ 1 | Wow such a cool UI style. I also like the music a lot, overall they contribute to a slightly tense but also inquiring atmosphere. Really delighted to see some very carefully polished messages (like the small jokes hahaahh). Usually I don't spend too much time reading, but the hypothesis constructor encouraged me to flip back and forth just to establish more facts (yes my brain is basically an old tech with minimum storage, so thx for allowing flipping). Fun concepts to be able to play around such story lines without an AI involved. Great job! |
| Oct 23 17:08:16 | 6m 51s | ZERO_DAY | ♥ 1 | Eyyy very cool monitor!!! nice intro and the game itself is also fun to play. The positioning of components have a bit of an offset, but does not hinder the construction (simply a bit weird to control) Also got softlocked somewhere during the game, and without a button to exit I had to restart. Still, nice concept and artistic theme! Great job without AI, I enjoyed playing this. |
| Oct 23 17:16:52 | 8m 36s | Medieval Hotline | ♥ 1 | Somehow the scaling of the game is a bit weird, but I managed to zoom in to see the full view. Cute drawings!! I am a medieval-related concepts' lover so I eagerly opened up this game. Some of the resources seems to be popping up too often (or maybe just my luck issue). Kind of get a bit repetitive after a while, maybe adding another resource later, or more interaction with the map? Nice connection to theme and interesting perception of the concept! |
| Oct 23 17:22:43 | 5m 51s | Doodle Skate | ♥ 1 | Ppl started putting down drawings and words onto paper, so indeed, old tech!! Really enjoyed playing this and the overall game flow is really smooth. Always wanted to play around with my own drawings and the implementation of physics made it exciting to play. Got a few weird drawings but no judgement on that. Fun concept and well polished in this short time! If possible maybe a web version will be more convenient, thx |
| Oct 23 17:32:45 | 10m 02s | Rewind Rush | ♥ 1 | Marvelous pixel art!!! And it is so satisfying to long hold and shoot. Sadly don't have friends to play together with, but I think the game has great potentials!! Really like the art style and this is a game I'm willing to buy and play with friends together. Well designed!! The controls are slightly a bit too light for me. Survived for a while but then started getting hurt, then the game gets even harder. Might be better if the status can respawn at checkpoint, or start each new game quick like rogue to get a taste of more possibilities. |
| Oct 23 17:43:56 | 11m 11s | Project Armakeddon | ♥ 2 | Just finished some debugging work, so a bit tired with commands. Still, very well overall lighting and atmosphere. Indeed old tech, and the puzzle is worth a piece of paper to solve. (I actually just started taking a french beginner's language course, so it is actually pretty enjoyable for me to hear a bit of french. Thx for the hard work recording all dialogues, nice singing btw hahahha). |
| Oct 23 17:56:14 | 12m 18s | TERMINALWARS | ♥ 0 | Nice terminal usage! Very useful to have a tutorial. The information density is slightly high, so took me a bit of time to interpret what I am seeing and start playing, but I enjoyed flipping around to checkout each page. Nice terminal visuals and the buzzz sound effects. Would be a nice game to play together in a team with some strategies (sent a scout somewhere really far away just for fun hahaha |
| Oct 23 18:04:23 | 8m 09s | This Way Up | ♥ 1 | Wow I like this artistic style!! A very cute robot with no legs but can jump a bit but not too much. Fun puzzles and I enjoyed using arrow keys for the view, sadly got a bit 3d motion sick so didn't stick to the end. Still, great job finishing this game! Out of interest, tipped it down the edge and got a glimpse at the inside components (oops~) |
| Oct 23 21:19:57 | 3h 15m | Pager Panic | ♥ 1 | I'm just a new unlicensed doctor lost in the maze of the hospital. What a rush, but really fun to play! Nice music and the beeps made the rush even more urgent. Running all around trying to find a certain place and was busy with a bunch of critical events and someone wants to say thank you hhhhh.Great job!!! |
| Oct 23 21:27:08 | 7m 11s | Old Dam Shift | ♥ 0 | Really take sometime to get familiar with the rules, but there is an initial "calm" balanced phase to try out some movements. Really like how a game can evolve so much around this piece of old tech! very well designed in means of the puzzle. Very deep understanding of a dispatcher and great interpretation of the theme! |
| Oct 23 21:48:57 | 21m 49s | Moth in the Machine | ♥ 1 | Raining at night where I'm staying. Was planning to play a quick game real quick and go to sleep, end up finishing the game and marveling at the quality. You got this finished, for a 3 days game jam??!?!? With full plot, very well modeling and the sound effects. Really loved watching the rain and the ending, letting the moths go and looking back at the actual history of such a story was really an amazing experience. Usually fixed process of the same job got me bored real quick, but this game showed me how hard (super hot temp) it is to put through such a job and how it can be to worry for those whom we lost contact on the see, how time is gold and can actually save lives. Really well polished game, really like it, well done!!!! |
| Oct 25 21:02:37 | 47h 13m | The Margin Game | ♥ 1 | Wow really creative to suggest reusing a piece of existing doc. I'm going to save this one for one of my "read this for 20 min" in class work. This definitely fits the theme really well and the fact that a piece of paper and pencil is really detached from technologies is great (might be even better if you offer this game to players in person, printing out the pdf so they can finally put their phones done and enjoy this game) *also thx for the reminder, won't write on any books I borrowed lol |
| Oct 25 21:15:57 | 13m 20s | Sound of Night | ♥ 0 | cute loading logo!! Really well made and thus helpful tutorials. I've always tried to learn morse code but usually just gave up midways, only remembering what sos is (like what might be possible if I ended up stuck somewhere horrible and desperately need help as if in a movie). Really helped me familiarize with all the morse codes. Took out my headset just to listen more carefully since the room is a bit noisy and roommates will start wondering what I spent so long beeping about (well I guess they don't know morse code and can't decipher, but will recommend those interest to play :P) thx for the game!! well made (will be nice if there is a keyboard short cut for repeating the phrase) |
| Oct 25 21:21:26 | 5m 29s | Steaming for Her | ♥ 0 | Great visuals and nice music, although it can be slightly longer, or add some railway related sound effects in it for the mood. A tutorial would be nice, I had to click everything to try get the train moving, but eventually got it (hurray I can now drive a train! unlicensed). Overall components integrated together pretty well, nice story line and connection to old tech! |
| Oct 25 21:25:30 | 4m 04s | Old Deck | ♥ 0 | The artistic style is what attracts me initially. Really well made old-fashioned style, feel like I can get a bowl of popcorns and sit in front of the tv to play for quite a while. I've not played something similar during my childhood, but I'm always a bit of a vintage-theme lover, and I like how the tv is a frame by itself, making the view seem like a trip back to the old days |
| Oct 27 19:47:56 | 46h 22m | Shelf Life | ♥ 0 | Need to wait a bit long for the electronics to get to the scan place. Might be a bit frustrating in real life, but nice little shop of old tech! And yes, keeping the stocks available is necessary in a nice store. |
| Oct 27 19:56:50 | 8m 54s | Big Ron's | ♥ 2 | Yes thx for the note about exiting the computer, it works. Funny animation and how the customers as well as the player has long legs swaying to run around. A tutorial might be useful, or like a quick pick to show the basic gameflow if there is not much time for a fully animated tutorial |
| Oct 27 20:03:12 | 6m 22s | The Old Techmongery | ♥ 1 | Wow really nice 3d scene for a compo game jam work!! Neat shelves and logo posters on them. With all the lighting and orientation it does feel like a cozy shop in town. Really like how you mentioned ppl placing order online. Even for retro or old-tech in this game, ppl still might prefer to order online for the convenience, but actually in such shops terminals and manual work is still needed, so really fitting to the theme!! Really polished for a work made in 48 h so great job!! |
| Oct 27 20:13:05 | 9m 53s | It's About Time for Murder | ♥ 1 | ScreenShot_2026-10-27_210808_643.png I'm a big fan of 1920s and murder mysteries so I clicked in because of that. Cool graphics and nice audio effects. I was a bit lazy with the memorization so just decided to try using my brain only, ended up taking a guess and luckily nailed it. As said in previous comments from other players, a booklet or scratch pad inside the game, somewhere to eliminate a safe assassin will be really useful. Nice set up of the story line and how old-techs work together to compose a plot. The game itself could perhaps include a bit more playable contents, since it kinda gets a bit repetitive after one or two rounds. Nice potentials and well done! |
| Oct 27 20:19:57 | 6m 52s | Radio Active Wear | ♥ 1 | Really creative idea!! The distortions of pictures combined with the sound effects contributed to a great atmosphere (slightly tense and quirky but pretty fitting to old-tech). The game it self is actually a bit easy, I'd say the lines are really helpful in aiding the location of distortions. With no time limits it gets a bit casual to spot where the issues are, and then it gets a bit repetitive. Great idea worth making into a longer, enriched game! |
| Oct 28 20:11:55 | 23h 51m | Dear Diary | ♥ 0 | Cute little game but with full plot, nice pixel art and music. Together in a square screen they fit the theme pretty well. The story and color scheme also hits me. (is the character able to walk with w and s? seems like I can only walk to the left and right) |
| Oct 28 20:26:59 | 15m 04s | I Don't Even Knit, or Olde Castle | ♥ 1 | Cute art work!! The sensitivity and controls might need a bit more tweaking, and the character's animation plays fully even if you only walks for a bit, which make it seem like walking on the spot. Really like the overall aesthetics (sadly no audio, adding some sound effects for walking and jumping might be nice) The height of the character becomes an "obstacle" at certain places, so nice guidance on the platform set up! Great job without AI in such a short time, high potentials if you have more time~ |
