Unfortunately I forgot to screenshot it but I reach a credit of slightly over 1000!

Anyway, I really loved this! Everything felt super polished - the sound effects, the company logos and the noticeboard, the doors with the toilet & liquid machine & shipping, the windows and the world outside (at one point I just stopped to stare outside the window for a bit, it was so cool)! Awesome stuff. I also liked how abstract all the actual products were, really cool mix of an alien future and saving on time for complex models :) The liquid machine was fun as well and added a nice twist to the gameplay, but unfortunately all orders featuring it weren't accepted for me for some reason :( I made sure it was the correct amount and everything! But anyway yeah, that aside, this was amazing, enjoyed it a lot!

Aaah thanks @frogravity ! What a lovely write up. I thought I had fixed that problem, but just found it back in there. Thanks for catching it, I am gonna wade through my 3am Blueprinting nonsense again to see where is going wrong! Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for taking the time to comment.

EDIT: 8pm : I think I fixed it!!! Found a bool check that was in the for-loop instead of on finished! I Reckon this will work now! :D Uploaded the quick fix. Thanks again!

EDIT 8:20pm - Nope... busted again, Daughter just played it and it isn't working again. This is a tricky bug!!

EDIT 9:25pm!!! I did it! and it was a silly -1 array error! The liquid was overwriting the wrong position in the register. So if liquid is FIRST on the list, it worked fine. But anywhere else it would go wrong!

All done and uploaded. Time for bed!

i like the graphics in this game! it looks really good! great job =)

lomna 2026-10-20 10:18 ♥ 1

Nice relaxing experience. With a bit of polish, this will make a great cozy game.

freamdev 2026-10-20 10:24 ♥ 1

I really like how you used simple shapes to have convincing items to sell/manufacture. The music was also very nice, but the sounds effect was a bit harsh for me, overall a very chilled fun. 😄

rachie 2026-10-20 10:25 ♥ 2

I love seeing some highly polished 3D games, you guys did an awesome job!

nursultan 2026-10-20 10:34 ♥ 2

Solid jam experience! Simple, intuitive, and very well put together. Left full ratings across all categories! We’d really appreciate it if you could test out our game too when you have a minute! Keep up the great work!

designernap 2026-10-20 10:40 ♥ 2

Ah look at all these lovely comments. Thannk you! @lomna thanks! I am feeling like I might take this one forward and see where it ends up... @freamdev Thank you! Soudn effects were all thrown in very last minute so could use some work there for sure :D @rachie Thanks! But it was just me! in the 48 hours all alone :D @nursultan wahooo! thanks! added your game to my list :)

sevansevan 2026-10-20 13:35 ♥ 1

Impressed by the graphics, especially the outside :-) Was kinda frustrated at the start when I didn't find the Farapin (which was my first order!) but then it transformed into a fun exploration game, pushing doors. Best moment was obviously finding the restroom.

chomby 2026-10-20 13:35 ♥ 1

I like the music, as well as all the environment detail. I like how exiting the store prompted exiting the game. I'm not on windows and I think some aspects of the game didn't get presented correctly because of that (such as the lights being off) (everyone else seems to have gotten along fine).

ryzku 2026-10-20 14:04 ♥ 1

Really enjoyed this one! The environment is full of little details that make exploring fun, and the view outside the windows looks amazing. I also loved the abstract product designs and the overall atmosphere. Super polished for a game jam, great job!

lereveur 2026-10-20 14:32 ♥ 1

I fixed myself a 20 packages to send limit, and I did it! 5006C and all brands sells, I think this was a good daywork, so I returned home. I would have try selling at least one of each part, but I think it would have taken at least another hour, so I gave up 😂 The only thing that was little annoying was that to send a package you should be exactly on the good place and with the good angle, but this is not a big issue Nice and polished, especially for a compo, well done!

imod 2026-10-20 16:56 ♥ 1

Collected about 2000C. Interesting game concept!

designernap 2026-10-20 17:53 ♥ 0

thanks @sevansevan ! I am glad your game turned into multiple play styles! :D That restroom is the heart of the game, of course!

@chomby oooh, what system are you playing on? I Would love to know so I can optimise for other places. Lights missing is fascinating!

@ryzku aaah wow! thanks for the kind words! I am quite happy with all the products and spent probably too long coming up with logos and boxes! :D

@lereveur Thank you! I do try to give it my all with as little sleep as possible. Ends with a LOT of content, and borderline unreadable blueprints the next day!

@imod I think that might be the most C earned so far! Even with a full set of brands, I only took in around 1400! Thanks for playing so long!

Nice relaxing experience. With a bit of polish, this will make a great cozy game. Great job, your game is amazing! I loved playing it, super cool

@designernap I'm using Arch and Wine compatibility layer

eugenik 2026-10-21 00:07 ♥ 1

The concept of a future tech store dedicated to forgotten, old-school parts is brilliant. The world and environment feel so genuinely lived-in, making the simple task of fulfilling orders really engaging.

purpledartfrog 2026-10-21 07:38 ♥ 1

From the screenshot alone I really did not expect this much athmosphere. It's impressive how few nobs you needed to turn in order to establish "your world". It feels smooth and it's simple to approach the game. Impressive entry 👍

sanechekz 2026-10-21 08:52 ♥ 1

Сool game! Nicely done!

designernap 2026-10-21 09:19 ♥ 1

@ao-85 you know... from all these positive comments, I think I might take this one forward to a full game... wouldn't take that much.. replace the assets, new audio, optimisation pass and bam... Let me think on it :)

@eugenik aah thank you! :D I am very happy people are feeling the atmosphere so much.

@purpledartfrog - oh, totally agree! it is amazing what a bit of lighting, audio and feel will do to a game.

@sanechekz Thank you! I tried hard!

rekk1d 2026-10-21 11:51 ♥ 1

Really fun and relaxing game, I liked it a lot. One thing I’d add is item names always visible, like price tags on the shelves. Right now you have to look at every item to see what it is, and it’s hard to remember where everything is. Either way, really nice work!

bjoernm 2026-10-22 00:17 ♥ 0

Very good idea and execution fitting the Theme very well. Very smart to just have orders and ship them instead of making customers show up.

designernap 2026-10-22 10:12 ♥ 1

AAaaah thank you @rekk1d! I actually did have the labels visible but it ended up making the shelves look unreadable and the displays cluttered in a bad way so ended up making them adaptive. the funny thing was I had dreams of making each box with lables and logos but ran out of time! :D

@bjoernm Thank you! I also had hopes of adding an occasional customer, but again... time was the issue :D

hydraa 2026-10-22 10:24 ♥ 1

I really like the game's graphics and overall art direction. However, I really don't like that the Y-axis of the camera is inverted, which makes it harder for me to be precise.

designernap 2026-10-22 11:11 ♥ 0

@hydraa that is why I put in these - https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/60/the-old-techmongery/how-to-invert-y-when-there-is-no-settings-screen right at the start! :) Screenshot 2026-10-22 121026.png

but thanks for the kind comments on the art :D

bassilij 2026-10-22 17:25 ♥ 0

I liked the graphics and the atmosphere you created. The game looks very well thought out and cozy. Great job!)

lucky-racoon 2026-10-22 20:11 ♥ 0

I liked the game! It was relaxing and a little nostalgic. I found a small bug... I got stuck in the bathroom😂, so that when I stopped playing... But it was very fun!

designernap 2026-10-23 10:30 ♥ 0

Thanks @bassilij all these wonderful comments are really appreciated and I feel like I should do something more with this one.

And @lucky-racoon I am so sorry!! It's always doors! Good find there as I had no idea. Will look at a hotfix for this with a collision hack.

mohidthedev 2026-10-23 18:23 ♥ 1

Super relaxing playing this. I liked the futuristic setting and I feel that could definitely be expanded on (maybe have futuristic elements in the shop as well?). If the shop were to be made to be more "full" and have a greater variety of shapes for the different parts, I can imagine myself sinking hours at a time playing the game!

ynukym-academy 2026-10-23 21:57 ♥ 1

This looks like an incredibly high-quality and polished 3D entry for a solo Compo project! I’m currently on Linux and didn't have a chance to run the Windows executable directly, but I spent a lot of time checking out your awesome screenshots and the video walkthrough. The environment design is stunning!

The level of detail you managed to pack into the shop in just 48 hours is amazing. The warehouse shelves, the terminal, the abstract product boxes, and especially the company logos look like they belong to a premium commercial game. The backstory about you working in a hardware store at 16 gives it such a cozy, genuine soul. The gameplay loop of fulfilling tech orders via the terminal is a perfect and very engaging interpretation of the "Old Tech" theme. It’s also hilarious to read about the 3 AM Blueprint debugging sessions in your updates — every jammer can relate to that!

Fantastic work, this definitely deserves to be expanded into a full game. Good luck with the voting stage! 🛠️📦📺✨

Wow really nice 3d scene for a compo game jam work!! Neat shelves and logo posters on them. With all the lighting and orientation it does feel like a cozy shop in town. Really like how you mentioned ppl placing order online. Even for retro or old-tech in this game, ppl still might prefer to order online for the convenience, but actually in such shops terminals and manual work is still needed, so really fitting to the theme!! Really polished for a work made in 48 h so great job!!
