| Oct 9 19:52:13 | Rogue Creatures | ♥ 2 | I love the mechanics and I love the visual representation of the upgrades! While not an RTS, it's in a similar vein and I am a huge fan of RTS unit management and it scratched that itch.io It was so hype to select more health and see them get armor! :O | |
| Oct 9 23:42:47 | 3h 50m | Burning Bells - Lilleborg 1259 | ♥ 2 | duuuuude. That title screen drop was so sick. Immediately marks the game as a high quality entry! I walked up and down many times to expose myself to its greatness over and over :D I dig the beautiful presentation, the classic windmill vibes and the effort put into cinematics. True artistry! Gotta give props to the programmer for fitting in the menu, particle effect and story elements in addition to the gameplay. 👶 |
| Oct 9 23:57:05 | 14m 18s | Personality test | ♥ 2 | Ayy I am a flyberry! I loved the fourth wall breaks and the breadcrumbs in the level that hinted at what was to come! Attention to detail is always fun. The music also reminded me of this from Kings Quest 7! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8Tq0y-PZkY If you play this at 1.25X speed, it sounds kinda similar :P Fun! |
| Oct 10 00:14:50 | 17m 45s | Parabowls | ♥ 1 | Oooh. Surprised to see such polish and attention to detail from a one-man army! The menu was great, the different screens were interesting visually with good composition and the game was fun! Short and simple. Perfect angle of attack for a jam game! Imagine what you could do in a team setting! :O |
| Oct 10 00:29:19 | 14m 29s | Depthcaller: The Seahorse's Revenge | ♥ 1 | Wow. Surprisingly good! It had an engaging story with fun writing. I have to imagine the weapon attack delay was intentional, considering the dark souls expert! One had to be precise with each attack, picking the right timing, distance and angle! Impressive stuff. Love that you encourage younger ones to create! We also had some younger ones on our team! 16 and 18 year old artists. We also made an underwater game like you! :D How fun! |
| Oct 10 00:54:12 | 24m 53s | Ogron Gramsay's Culinary Journey | ♥ 3 | This game has layers! I knew as soon as I saw it that I needed to play it. It's hilarious and fun to play! Giving the creatures the old bonk & yoink was enjoyable throughout. Good old Orgron Gramsay! He knows how to put a dish together and everyone knows it! He's always having people for dinner! |
| Oct 10 01:09:25 | 15m 13s | G-news | ♥ 3 | Stunning visuals and I have to imagine the musicians had so much fun making this! :D I had over a million viewers by the end. I have to question the relevance to the theme, though. Tiny creatures is the themes, but I didn't see any! Especially not gnomes! ;) |
| Oct 10 03:45:26 | 2h 36m | Vox Regis | ♥ 3 | So good! And hilarious! "LUDUM DARE". Love the humour you put into your games! :D Thoroughly impressed that this was done by one person in 48 hours. |
| Oct 10 03:54:31 | 9m 05s | Hop hop don't stop. | ♥ 4 | Gorgeous! Just look at that crisp art! Wonderful sound design and music, also! Boing boing boing 🐸 |
| Oct 10 04:08:36 | 14m 05s | Small Sands | ♥ 3 | Good to see that you are still creating LD games! I grew up playing management and strategy games, so I love seeing little people running around doing what I tell them to do! Scratches an itch that never stops itching. Impressive that you're out here doing all this developing on your own! |
| Oct 10 04:25:50 | 17m 14s | Strange New Tides | ♥ 5 | I am getting serious old school early 3d point and click adventure vibes (like Monkey Island 4). How you manage to have 40 people working alongside each other, I don't know. It's an achievement, for sure! |
| Oct 10 05:03:06 | 37m 16s | Slimeow Game | ♥ 1 | Simple, but good looking visuals! Fun idea, even if it could be a little faster. Cute cats! 🐱 |
| Oct 10 05:13:15 | 10m 09s | Play With Me | ♥ 3 | Alright, you tama got me. Vibes and spooks are always fun! |
| Oct 10 12:18:54 | 7h 05m | Neckmeat's Tiny Adventure | ♥ 1 | Very interesting to see hand drawn paper cutouts animated in 3d. Don't think I have ever seen that in LD before, which is saying something considering how many games there have been over the years. A properly unique art style and vibe in this game! |
| Oct 10 22:28:44 | 10h 09m | ABDUCKTOR | ♥ 4 | I loved the duck out of this game! The visuals are great and the ducks, while very chatty, sounded so fun and happy! Quack! 🦆 |
| Oct 10 23:01:52 | 33m 08s | Alice's Tiny Adventure | ♥ 2 | I had to resort to my a-maze-ing navigation skills of hugging the left wall to not get lost! Took me longer than I'd like to admit to find the end :P I liked it! A good first entry into the fun world of LD game jams! I look forward to seeing how you progress in the future! Since you're new, I should mention (in case you weren't aware) that rating other entries gets you more visibility, but that goes double for comments on people's pages! If people heart your comments, you will get much more "karma" than just rating :) This isn't made very clear on the website. Good luck in your pursuit to 20 ratings! |
| Oct 11 00:44:59 | 1h 43m | BeetleBall | ♥ 2 | It's a shit game. And that's what I love about it ;) |
| Oct 13 14:30:31 | 61h 45m | Stuart's Perfect Day | ♥ 2 | I like it! So many jam games forget all about viiiibes. Vibes are important and you nailed the vibes! Bra å se at det ikke bare er jeg som deltar i Norge! :D |
| Oct 13 22:35:46 | 8h 05m | Fry Quest | ♥ 3 | I don't think I need to say that I love jam games with narratives, given my history with jam projects but still, I appreciate that there are others that like to make them too! :) Go fry! Also, I love that you included the LOTR reference! The game wouldn't be the same without it. |
| Oct 14 16:38:29 | 18h 02m | Wrath of the Evil God | ♥ 1 | Pretty fantastic gameplay! The juice in the steps as you stomp around was great! The different mechanics were fun and the puzzle-like challenges of each level kept things interesting. Well done, team! |
| Oct 16 00:58:04 | 32h 19m | Squeezlings | ♥ 3 | Fabulous presentation, good vibes and a great use of the theme! (top marks!) For my tastes, this is probably the best looking game I have played and the best use of the theme I have seen so far. Great work! |
| Oct 16 19:50:06 | 18h 52m | Age of Honey | ♥ 0 | Looooove RTS games. I have been a part of a couple of RTS projects since I started LD and it's always fun to see others doing them as well. Good on you for getting in voice lines for the bees! It's not an RTS without voicelines! :D |
| Oct 17 21:27:52 | 25h 37m | Tiny Aliens | ♥ 1 | Wonderful little game. Gets quite hectic as you get further along but it builds up to that well. Great tutorial! |
| Oct 19 00:35:23 | 27h 07m | Business Beetles | ♥ 4 | Business. Sales! :D Wonderful entry. Really polished visuals, fun atmosphere and relatively easy to understand gameplay :) Props to the musician, too! |
| Oct 21 02:25:19 | 49h 49m | Right To Bear Fins | ♥ 1 | That main character is straight out of a tough bar in spongebob :P I dig it! Straight lines for bullets is under rated! It's very clear to see where you are shooting and adjust accordingly. I approve! Fun art, lots of tiny creatures (and some bigger ones) and wonderful music! I look forward to future LD entries! |
| Oct 21 20:03:17 | 17h 37m | Critical Mass | ♥ 1 | Loving the music and overall atmosphere! I also love city builders and management. Getting some cult of the lamb vibes and I don't think that's unintended ;) It's a shame you couldn't fulfill your vision but you should be proud of what you managed to get made! |
| Oct 21 20:45:50 | 42m 33s | The Last Swarm Warden | ♥ 1 | I love myself some narrative in LD games (shouldn't come as a surprise, given my jam history). I think you did a lot with a little, visually and there was an elegance in the soundscape that you should be proud of. Intentional or not, the chimes as you reupped on fireflies and lit lanterns fit perfectly with the ambience and music that was playing, as if to harmonize with it. Great effort from both of you! I'm happy I got to play it! |
| Oct 22 02:29:49 | 5h 43m | Oddball Assembly | ♥ 1 | Fantastic work for a 48 compo game. Insanely impressive. |
| Oct 22 17:49:40 | 15h 19m | Cheddalier | ♥ 2 | Loving the character models (are 2d characters called models?) and the gameplay was very intuitive. Solid entry! |
| Oct 22 18:02:17 | 12m 37s | Re-Bot | ♥ 1 | Friend? 🤖 Great to see point and click adventure games still getting some love these days. Grew up playing Monkey Island, Kings Quest, Broken sword and the like. They are so cool! :D Impressive that you managed to make what you made! |
| Oct 22 20:23:22 | 2h 21m | A Bug's Wife | ♥ 1 | Pretty great effort, especially for a compo entry! Well done |
| Oct 22 22:52:50 | 2h 29m | Are you listening? | ♥ 1 | Maybe I'm a weirdo but I like whispering, so I like this game :P I've been doing ASMR videos for over 10 years so I suppose it makes sense. The game has wonderful art and I love a good narrative experience! Well done! |
| Oct 23 18:36:21 | 19h 43m | Tardigrade Travels: A Tardigrade's Terrifyingly Terrific Traversal Through Time! | ♥ 1 | So much animation! It was a fun little adventure and I look forward to the projects you guys come out with in future ludum dares! :D |
| Oct 24 23:49:33 | 29h 13m | Snake Rolls | ♥ 1 | Actually hilarious. I sucked at the game but I finished it and then just sat there listening. Did I pick up on a bit of a Norwegian/Swedish accent maybe? I am Norwegian myself so that would be a neat fun fact ;) |
