大概玩了6关,游戏挺不错有点小爽,但是操作按键很别扭,追着最后剩的一个敌人跑了半天让我血压有点高

justuspan 2024-10-08 11:46

@hanafl0wer When holding down the Shift key, you can enter Overdrive mode, consuming health to move faster

cam-moore 2024-10-08 15:06

I loved the art on this. Also cool idea, I loved controlling the giant.

surfa 2024-10-08 15:07

Quite a fun little game. Felt like the movement speed was a little slow and the overdrive not useful in the later levels due to the damage build up being a lot quicker. Was a fun little game and I love the design of the player character which was nicely executed in the sprite work.

sketchbookbug 2024-10-08 15:08

The game is great in delivering the feel of being powerful and huge. I like the screen-shaking effect when the player "walks" over the ground ;) Cover art is enormous!

lucy-z 2024-10-08 15:16

As a clever monster, all I need to do is destroy all the buildings that produce soldiers, and the world will be mine to ravage, hahahaha! What?! There are buildings that automatically attack me?!Destroy it Destroy it Destroy it!

I love the concept and gameplay of this game. Although it sounds a bit cruel =-0

justuspan 2024-10-11 16:00

@cam-moore I'm glad you like this game!

justuspan 2024-10-11 16:03

@surfa The initial idea about movement speed is to reflect the weight of giants, balancing some abilities around this element. The intention behind the design of Overdrive is to use it for a very short time to tackle the most challenging groups of enemies. Thank you very much for your feedback!

justuspan 2024-10-11 16:05

@sketchbookbug Yes! When I first saw the cover, I felt a kind of bright oppression, which was strange but matched the story that followed

justuspan 2024-10-11 16:08

@lucy-z Since it was an idea that came up spontaneously, we didn't shy away from too many brutal scenes. However, considering that this is a pixel art game, I believe this level of brutality is just right.

kuggenhoffen 2024-10-14 16:19

Awesome game, brutal but awesome! Looks great, sounds great and gameplay works very well. Good job!

langotriel 2024-10-14 16:38

Pretty fantastic gameplay! The juice in the steps as you stomp around was great! The different mechanics were fun and the puzzle-like challenges of each level kept things interesting. Well done, team!

shallowkong 2024-10-15 12:17

Fun to play! Really like the art style and the story! BTW, I also have a jam work. If you can have a try and leave some suggestions, we will be very grateful! THX! )

nemuikoda 2024-10-15 12:20

Fun little game. Couldn't always make out the hitboxes of the stomps and throws. Maybe clearer visualization of hit targets would've helped (e.g. flashing red when hit)

2024-10-15 13:27

REALLY LIKED IT!! GOOD GRAPHIC, FITS THE THEME JUST RIGHT AND I GET TO CRUSH LIL PEOPLE SO HONESTLY SOLID GAME

jetmarch 2024-10-15 15:30

Loved this game. It's fun to stomp villages :^) But I didn't understand how to throw stones correctly. They always fly somewhere lower

nrankin13 2024-10-15 20:33

Please make this a bigger game. I loved it all -- the increasing levels of resistance from the villagers, more obstacles, etc. This was just a lot of fun. Making humans the tiny creatures was also a neat twist on the theme; good thinking!

paulhocker 2024-10-17 04:27

I liked this game way more than I should have. ;) Awesome job!

justuspan 2024-10-26 11:36

@kuggenhoffen @langotriel @shallowkong @nemuikoda @jetmarch @nrankin13 @paulhocker Thank you very much for playing and providing feedback! I'm also sorry I can't reply to each one (I'm currently on the eve of another game jam deadline), I had a great time with this Ludum Dare! See you later, friends.
