Apr 5 04:00:38 Before The Bang ♥ 1 What a great idea for a game. I love that one of the players is first person while the explorer gets a nice 2D view of the ship.
Apr 5 08:51:05 4h 50m No Match ♥ 2 There's a really good feel to this game. The music, sound effects, and animations all come together to create such a polished experience
Apr 5 10:01:05 1h 10m plant. ♥ 1 The growth mechanic is really nicely done, and the slashing gestures are fun to perform
Apr 6 03:41:16 17h 40m Halberd ♥ 1 This was a nice experience. The grapple mechanic took a while to get working at the boss, but I managed!
Apr 6 04:05:24 24m 08s I Will Not Let Us Fall Behind Schedule ♥ 2 I enjoyed the boss battle and platforming mechanics. The hit box on the player did seem a bit wide, but double jump helped deal with that.
Apr 6 18:59:15 14h 53m Card Crawler ♥ 1 This is a fun game with great presentation. Lots of artwork and polish for a jam game
Apr 6 19:44:07 44m 52s Populus Romanus ♥ 1 This feels very polished for a jam game! I like the UI artwork
Apr 6 20:15:03 30m 56s Stallar ♥ 1 I like this take on the theme. The inevitable win condition is a more positive take than most
Apr 6 20:42:54 27m 51s Kinderkaos ♥ 2 This was fun! I wish they weren't so good at dying all the time
Apr 6 21:09:38 26m 44s Keep It Steaming ♥ 4 What lovely graphics. I also really like the take on the theme.
Apr 6 21:11:58 2m 20s Re: Placement ♥ 3 I really like the puzzle mechanic. Pretty challenging at first, and you learn as you go, which makes for a nice progression when you replay.
Apr 7 00:23:33 3h 11m Carpe Diem ♥ 1 The graphics and aesthetic are so nice. I like the game play loop; it's simple and fun
Apr 7 04:28:06 4h 04m Road Weaver! ♥ 1 I love how the buildings avoid the camera. The 3D models look great, and the cars' unpredictable behavior is cute and keeps things interesting.
Apr 7 18:53:48 14h 25m Giraffe o'Clock ♥ 1 Really fun experience. Nice art, music, platforming, and a rhythm game thrown in for good measure!
Apr 7 19:09:57 16m 09s The Denevetable ♥ 2 Nice take on the theme. I like the follow-the-magic mechanic
Apr 7 19:13:19 3m 22s You Are A Bomb ♥ 1 This is a really simple but fun loop.
Apr 7 19:21:54 8m 35s Weed it & Reap ♥ 0 So close to the high score: reaper.png
Apr 7 19:36:35 14m 41s Will There Bee Another? ♥ 2 What a great take on the theme. I really like the artwork
Apr 7 19:37:27 52s Adelie - Chasing Pavements ♥ 1 The graphics are so great! And the overall game mechanic is simple but fun
Apr 7 20:19:35 42m 08s Cave companion ♥ 0 I love the flat shading and environment design. This is a great introduction to a potentially larger game
Apr 8 08:27:47 12h 08m Protocol Delta ♥ 1 This is a really solid, fun game loop. I like the simple visuals, and the UI and transitions are great
Apr 8 23:47:45 15h 19m Extremely Exteme Sports ♥ 2 This is a fun game, and losing to someone repeatedly in multiplayer is an unexpected feature for a jam game
Apr 9 00:47:54 1h 00m Inevitable Defense ♥ 1 The camera didn't quite show enough of the level in front of the helicopter, but nice old school vibe overall
Apr 9 01:31:19 43m 25s poisoned hero ♥ 0 It took me a few tries to figure out what to do, but after that it was surprisingly engaging. This is a deceptively addictive experience
Apr 9 01:40:55 9m 36s Wildfire ♥ 1 This inevitability of the fire spreading vs the speed at which I could extinguish creates a strong feeling of impending doom. I think I might need another truck
Apr 9 03:17:59 1h 37m Catastrophe ♥ 1 It seems like this game might require a screen larger than the one I have in order to be able to see everything. I get to what I think might be a cat with an anvil (I can't completely tell because it's cut off from the top of the screen) and avoid it as far as I can, but it completely removes my ability to move when I align with it, and I just have to watch while I die. It seems like it would be a good experience if I could figure out how to make it through, but I couldn't figure out what was trapping me in place.
Apr 9 04:20:02 1h 02m Panic ♥ 0 This is an interesting idea. I think maybe an arrow to show the direction to a drop off point might be nice, but the level was small enough that it wasn't a big problem to find them, except for all the crowds!
Apr 9 04:25:11 5m 09s MoonDoggle ♥ 1 Turrets are always fun mechanics, and this is no exception. The mouse sensitivity was a bit extreme for me, so aiming was a challenge.
Apr 9 06:26:02 2h 00m Evacuation of Zorkid ♥ 0 I like how you implemented the elliptical orbiting mechanic, especially with how the repulsors add energy. Our submission was extremely similar, so I obviously highly approve of this adaptation of the jam theme :) This is a solid experience
Apr 9 20:33:11 14h 07m Granting Immortality ♥ 1 I really like the artwork and the world design. The music choice was a good one, too. Exploring the level was a nice experience, and it's a very thought provoking take on the theme. In the end, who am I to judge?: immortality.png
Apr 9 20:49:57 16m 46s Dilate the time! ♥ 1 I like the level design. The controls made it a bit hard for me to stop exactly where I wanted to for smaller platforms. Overall, a really fun experience.
Apr 9 21:17:34 27m 37s Slime Survivor ♥ 1 This has a solid game loop and implementation, especially for a compo entry. I also like the character and slime artwork. Having the powerups that exist on the map is also a nice touch to encourage exploration.
Apr 9 21:48:00 30m 26s Francis time ♥ 1 This is a fun game, especially once you get the assault rifle!
Apr 9 22:00:38 12m 38s Starline Rescue Squad ♥ 1 I absolutely love how the ship and items you picked up dance! The song is such a bop! I got to 400 days before everything got sad.
Apr 9 22:22:22 21m 44s Lava Run ♥ 1 This is a good beginning of an endless platformer. The mouse sensitivity was a bit intense for me, but it turns out you can navigate the game with only wasd, which was great.
Apr 9 22:38:10 15m 48s The Inevitable Company ♥ 1 I liked the writing, and the story is relatable for many.
Apr 9 22:52:42 14m 32s Steady Birds ♥ 2 The art and animations were top notch, and the simple clicking mechanics are easy to understand and pick up. This is a short, fun experience overall.
Apr 9 23:15:00 22m 18s The Subtle Hourglass ♥ 1 This is a really great experience, especially considering it's a compo entry! I really like the main rewind/replay mechanic, and completing tasks with past selves and then unlocking new tasks is a great way to progress the game.
Apr 10 00:50:55 1h 35m Detour ♥ 0 This is a great take on the theme, and a fun to play... endless puzzler. The visuals are simple but lovely, and the core mechanic is enjoyable. Some feedback about what the path finding will do when you're hovering a piece would probably be a nice addition in the future.
Apr 10 03:07:41 2h 16m H U N T E D ♥ 2 I really like the idea and the core game loop. The story and the starting inventory system are nice touches. I could never manage to get through the game, because every time except once hunting and foraging got me nothing but wasted time, which I guess creates the brutal inevitability.
Apr 10 03:41:04 33m 23s Moonshot ♥ 2 I love the artwork and music. I really like the story telling between rounds, although I wish it were skippable for the many, many retries it would take to get through successfully.
Apr 11 00:22:24 20h 41m Lazer Bean ♥ 1 This was a bit challenging to figure out since you can't aim and jumping throws the gun, but once you get going it's a fun core mechanic. I really like the visual style
Apr 11 20:08:55 19h 46m Don't Let Me Down ♥ 2 Oh no, this take on the theme crushed my soul. I do love the art and the voice acting.
Apr 15 21:32:50 97h 23m Penguin Snoir ♥ 1 This was a short, enjoyable experience. I do wish that the enemies couldn't spawn inside you or directly in front of you as to be unavoidable, but still fun overall.
Apr 15 21:37:57 5m 07s The Demon Trainer ♥ 1 The core rhythm mechanic is well done. This is a really fun idea, and a unique take on the theme.
Apr 15 21:55:09 17m 12s CVC Presents: The tale of Plague Doctor Man (John Withah) ♥ 2 This feels like a nice start to a game. The artwork is disturbing, which works well with the theme of the game. I couldn't figure out a goal other than walking around and shopping. It wasn't clear if I was supposed to look for uninfected places and only buy from them? Or if I was spreading the disease to them when I arrived? And I couldn't figure out any way to gain money. Still, it seems like time in the jam probably ran out, and this is a good start to a fun, yet disturbing experience.
Apr 15 23:02:32 1h 07m Official Planetologist ♥ 1 I couldn't really figure out how to get started. I could settle Ross and even get it somewhat stable by mixing flora, but that was about it. Launching seeds from Earth to some CO2 heavy, relatively low toxicity planet never seemed to do much of anything, and by the time Earth had two completed launches, everyone there was dead. I do really enjoy the idea, and I think this has the bones of a really great strategy game. Also, maybe consider renaming EventLog.js to something else, as that name is blocked in some privacy filter lists that a lot of browser extensions use.
Apr 15 23:25:10 22m 38s Dike Defender ♥ 1 This is a really good compo entry. The primary mechanic is simple and immediately obvious to the player. The charge mechanic did require reading the instructions to understand. I really like the sound and color palette.
Apr 15 23:28:41 3m 31s Fox Driver ♥ 1 Your Let's Encrypt certificate seems to be expired at the time I played.
Apr 15 23:58:24 29m 43s Doctor's Orders ♥ 1 I like the mini games. The inevitability theme is definitely there, and it's extremely disheartening to realize the bar's never going up.
