| May 1 09:13:03 | Lost in Thought | ♥ 1 | Didn't see how is the theme correlate to the idea - the prev and skip button somewhat did it though. Music is annoying. And basically it's a generic rage game with only one mechanic that's get boring fast. Feels finished though so good job. | |
| May 1 09:21:22 | 8m 19s | Be Queen | ♥ 1 | Not much in it, but what is there is good. And I think I have not killed bees in a game before as a main objective. Good job! |
| May 1 09:26:38 | 5m 16s | Tower of Darkness | ♥ 1 | Controlling the guy is very awkward - waiting for the animation, moving while attack, sometimes it just didn't attacked. Music is bad and annoying. Gfx are almost acceptable. BTW, empty options screen? And can push buttons after start. |
| May 1 09:46:07 | 19m 29s | Fallen Shovel | ♥ 1 | Very good game - definitely! Music wasn't annoying and gfx are fitting. Had great fun completing it. Thank you! |
| May 1 09:55:31 | 9m 24s | Deep Resource | ♥ 1 | Rocks and the guy hovering above ground? Bad and annoying music. (A turn off music option?) Gfx are all over the place - like they aren't fit together. (Loved the eyes on the fish though.) Couldn't see the deeper part in it. Also I saw a fish swimming backwards. |
| May 1 10:12:38 | 17m 07s | Cave of Death | ♥ 2 | Very janky at best. That dynamic shadow is meh. assets are very basic and I think these are the default shaders. The death is not pronounced enough - like didn't recognized when happened. Everything is dark and suddenly got teleported is exactly like moving the mouse like 5 mm-s and turn 180+random degrees with it. Very disorienting. |
| May 1 10:30:49 | 18m 11s | Dwarf Dig Deep | ♥ 0 | I almost had fun, but then there is the control scheme. Like G and RSHIT? What have you there - clearly not a hand.. And I would rather go with UP as jump then SPACE. The thing is, with these control mechanics it feels like a strategy game, but I so want an action one. Can't attack easily at will makes it impossible though. I quite like the gfx! Also I couldn't exit to menu with the button somehow. |
| May 1 10:43:19 | 12m 30s | The Ocean Depths | ♥ 1 | Nice minimalistic gfx, annoying relax music. (Music can be turned off at least, that's a plus.) I liked the old sharks - slow and only 2 teeth. Not much AI. Needs instructions though! Using dash is unclear. Also fish should hover by nature. |
| May 1 10:47:31 | 4m 12s | Virtually Deeper | ♥ 1 | Tried the game but no keys are working.. (didn't rated ofc) |
| May 1 10:58:09 | 10m 38s | Altum | ♥ 1 | Nice game! What is does, it does solid. Would be nice to have an indicator of how much time left or something. And whats the depressurize button for? Is it a restart relly? |
| May 1 11:11:21 | 13m 12s | Bonfire: Darker and Darker | ♥ 1 | Using the gun not helps - they all are quick drawers. Logs are sparse, I have managed to get to day 6 - it got boring afterwards. I like the concept just needs to work on more. |
| May 1 11:23:41 | 12m 20s | DangerCo | ♥ 1 | Where are the enemies and more traps and stuff? No pickaxe, only dynamites feels like a half game compared to the other I have played just before this entry. The explosions are very satisfying though - like spamming 10+. :) |
| May 2 20:25:36 | 33h 01m | How deep is this rabbit hole anyway? | ♥ 1 | Nice game, basic idea. I have never saw an exploding rabbit before. :) The random effects are not giving anything to the game, just making it unplayable. Sad, it could be a good thing. |
| May 2 20:32:40 | 7m 04s | Gulp! | ♥ 0 | Definitely a new take on the basic idea. I don't want to know how you came up with it though. Liked the bloody part. And it actually have bosses. Nice! |
| May 2 20:49:47 | 17m 07s | Puzzle blast | ♥ 0 | Nice game! Designing a puzzle is hard in 48 hours. I have found that after getting a starting point from the hints, you need to do guess work. Having 3 hearths helps with that. After that, it's only following the hints. |
| May 2 21:01:31 | 11m 44s | Meditation Journey | ♥ 1 | That high pitched boing sound isn't fitting. But otherwise a solid entry. I have never saw a meditation game before. It seems to be not so meditation inducing for the player. |
| May 2 21:24:43 | 23m 12s | Deep Sleep - The Sandman | ♥ 1 | That guy will not go to work if it's up to me. 😄 Seemingly there is no ending? Liked the bad-dream things and the sounds are the perfect ones for a compo entry. The basic idea is ok, but I can't see how it's going "deeper and deeper". |
| May 2 21:43:59 | 19m 16s | Fluffy the Slime's Underground Adventure | ♥ 0 | I acknowledge you have put time in programming different game mechanics. Sadly neither of those feels finished. Music was annoying, gfx are basic. When you change game mechanics like that, it's not easy to find out what to do. Also, in the first level, I have stuck because I didn't get the right most flag and there is no way back up. Does it need a reset button and/or a way to go back to the title screen? |
| May 2 21:57:47 | 13m 48s | Abyss Diver | ♥ 1 | Good gfx, nice audio - music is not annoying surprisingly. The only thing to point out is the collision with walls. Can't tell where I will hit them exactly. Otherwise it's a solid entry. |
| May 2 22:03:53 | 6m 06s | Layered World | ♥ 1 | Can't figure out how to play... (didn't rate) |
| May 2 22:13:30 | 9m 37s | Bob | ♥ 1 | Nice game, good music. Is it intentional to climb the walls by jumping? The peashooter is underpowered, making it useless. Throwing the granade with the guss momentum is not a bad idea, but the moon gravity makes it hard to aim. |
| May 2 22:39:20 | 25m 50s | Dwarf Deep | ♥ 1 | It's a nice concept but I found it unplayable. Hard to climb back to the ship, takes too much time to get to the ship even. The oxygen isn't quite enough at first to get to the ocean floor. |
| May 2 22:49:02 | 9m 42s | Deeplift | ♥ 1 | Weird concept. If you couldn't tell what door leads where then is it really a puzzle game? Trying to guess and then lost your was is confusing. Patience wont help because it's get boring fast. |
| May 2 23:01:30 | 12m 28s | Space?Space!SPACE | ♥ 1 | Very good entry. I only missed the sound. Otherwise it's done very well. Controls are spot on. |
| May 2 23:16:06 | 14m 36s | DeepSea | ♥ 1 | Hard to control the ship. Isn't really fun to play - there is no driving force to keep playing. I liked the mine explosion and the rocket hit very much though. |
| May 2 23:34:01 | 17m 55s | Deep Sleep | ♥ 1 | Solid entry. The music almost made me fall a deep sleep. |
| May 2 23:58:43 | 24m 42s | Ocelot Safari | ♥ 0 | Very good game! It's hard to controll though. Making the player getting back to spawn a lot is getting boring after some time - that isn't fun. |
| May 3 00:19:50 | 21m 07s | Fathom Pass | ♥ 0 | Hey, this is something new! I like the idea. I haven't felt too involved in the story. Like how you used the morale to limit possible choices. Sadly I felt that I'm on a set route. |
| May 3 23:24:10 | 23h 04m | Deep Rescue | ♥ 1 | Space doesn't start the game the second time - it works first though. I have saved some turtles. |
| May 3 23:37:43 | 13m 33s | Titan Spear | ♥ 1 | Very good, has everything. Music sets some mood. I like the 2 different mechanics that you need to split your attention. |
| May 3 23:48:53 | 11m 10s | Shooting Digger | ♥ 1 | It was not clear to me what is the goal of the game. Do I have to last a certain amount of time or do I accumulating points? I think spending 1 extra day on it and enter in the Jam would have a benefit. I saw there is another lever or something, so not sure, but I haven't feel the theme in this one. |
| May 4 00:02:26 | 13m 33s | The Descent | ♥ 2 | Well done! Good puzzle game in 48 hours. 👏 |
| May 4 00:17:36 | 15m 10s | Surface Level | ♥ 1 | I take it as a children's "stay put where you are" game. And for that, it's well done! And it is certainly another take on the theme. |
| May 4 00:29:35 | 11m 59s | The Dark and The Beast | ♥ 0 | Not bad! I don't know if there is a good ending, but I ran for some time. The tripping over collision is wrong, btw. |
| May 4 00:44:42 | 15m 07s | Deeper In The Night | ♥ 0 | Nice experiment, I assume you are learning OpenGL. I myself entering only in these Jams to learn something completely new. If you can't do decent music, but want to show that you can play it with your engine, than add it into a menu or title screen - less annoying. Also, controls. UI is not something that needs to be designed for the most part. It's several iterations of tryall and error. It's rather learning it from others' experiences. It would be better to use just WASD here. Oni thing to say is I couldn't get what is the goal. Why am I playing? If you add something for it, then this could feel like an actual game. |
| May 4 01:01:44 | 17m 02s | Aftermath | ♥ 1 | Couldn't read the text well, it would probably be better to advance it on a trigger. I have tried 'A' but it didn't worked. Then I saw that written in blue on blue (that is bad) with acircle. So assume it's a controller button thing. Music was very annoying, it hurt. Sorry! About the theme. I haven't found any progression. So there is nothing deeper in it. |
| May 4 01:10:42 | 8m 58s | Voice Warm-up | ♥ 1 | Very well done! It was a hard eatin'. But all in all, I had fun. And it's another take on the theme. Congrats! |
