Cool take on a CYOA game. The retro feel is nice although it felt a little slow, I found myself reading ahead instead of listening to the audio.

wow, what a great way to branch by using the remote and numbers. I also read ahead compared to the audio, but who doesn't do that? xD. Cool to see options striked out because of moral values as well as telling you when a branch ends the game. Good work!
Great game with pleasant graphics.
The style with the tv remote and the tc is great and really makes the game stand out. Though i feel like the remote could have been used in more ways as just typing in the numbers just makes the game a bit slower to get to the next page.
Thanks, that was really interesting! I loved the niche presentation of the game through the TV and remote.
I agree with others here, I found myself reading the text rather than listening. It would help though if the sentence you were narrating at the time was highlighted. Very original!
You really nailed the mood, and I enjoyed the story quite a bit, despite the slow pacing. It's really difficult to balance choose-your-own-adventure style stories, but you did very well, especially in just 48 hours. Well done, I enjoyed it!
AWESOOOOOME!
This is brilliant! Nicely done!
Very good Game! Nice touch to be able to change the voice volume with the remote button
Amazing game, I really liked the story, mood and graphics. The story was a nice interpretation of the theme. The controls with the remote are a really nice idea! I like that you narrated the story, but it was a bit slow for me, so after a while I turned the audio off and just read everything. I hope you really will make a chapter 2 :)
What a unique game! I'm really glad you did this because it added some variety to LDJAM. My only real complaint is the voice over, I had to mute it right away since I read faster than the speaker speaks, it was a little bit jarring but easy enough to turn off. One tiny little thing is that I wouldn't tell the player that their choices are going to result in lowered karma etc. - I think it's better to let them find that out themselves if they choose to be bad. Thank you!
Very nicely written. And the voice reading is really relaxing. I liked it and was disappointed when I made it to the end, I wanted more of it.
Great voice acting and a innovative take on the theme, Great Job!
Thank you very much for your entry - I hope you had great fun making it
What a great and well thought out idea :thumbsup_tone1: it seemed polished and wass very entertaining in an old scholl kinda way
I hope you'll drop by mine and give it a spin
:purple_heart: :dart: :frog:
dunno... do you give a high or low rating on innovation
I think I'd prefer if you hid the results of your actions, showing [-10 morale] or something on an action just makes me not want to pick it, if you let me pick it then i lose morale it feels more natural.
Love the take on CYOA and was surprised that it had VO at all, great writing and presentation!
I've never heard of a Teletext before but because of this game I looked it up. The game was pretty cool, and the story was well written but I'm going to have to agree with the rest that you should have hidden the results of the actions.
Hey, this is something new! I like the idea. I haven't felt too involved in the story. Like how you used the morale to limit possible choices. Sadly I felt that I'm on a set route.
Wow! Nice interpretation of the theme! :tv:
Really novel controls! Also respect for the voice over, wonder how much time it took you to record all the texts. Well done!
