| Apr 27 11:43:12 | Deep Seeker | ♥ 0 | Intriquing, what's the difference between <> and [] ? | |
| Apr 27 16:37:02 | 4h 53m | [WebGL/HTML5] Who am I? | ♥ 2 | Great concept and I like the Hack style movement. Found it was lagging quite a lot (0.5 FPS) not just during animation but during some of the movement to the start. I'd check out the unity profiler to see if anything is taking longer than it should to do. Otherwise great game! |
| Apr 27 16:56:09 | 19m 07s | Voyager | ♥ 1 | I love the style of the game and the idea of controlling a probe through deep space is great, I like how the stars started to move as you get faster. I got stuck when I found some fuel but didn't have enough power to active the robotics to collect it. A slider to control the audio volume would be good, I could barely hear anything when I had the system volume on max. |
| Apr 27 17:05:42 | 9m 33s | Who runs the world? | ♥ 0 | This game is going to give me a repetitive strain injury, I got as far as unlocking all areas and the death bar at the bottom was too low for me to have the motivation to carry on sorry. The art looks nice and clean though. |
| Apr 27 17:08:28 | 2m 46s | Drillromantik | ♥ 0 | I'd like to review but I click the button to load the game and the buttom disapears and nothing else happens |
| Apr 27 18:55:54 | 1h 47m | Trash`n`Roll | ♥ 3 | Purple Potatos π’ First Time I played I didn't work out what to do before the entry area overfilled, second time I didn't find the happiness button, third time the enviroment meter filled up I'm not sure why as I fully upgraded my factories didn't see an option to send it to space! Great little game I liked the trucks driving around, nice snappy pacing. Would be nice to show what the differences are between the different factories and an animation of the entry yard filling up would be great. To avoid giving your players a repetitive strain injury I'd suggest having a toggle on if a factory is accepting rubbish or not instead of clicking all the time. Low poly art stile looks great! The game over music plays on a loop even after restarting the game |
| Apr 27 19:16:11 | 20m 17s | Under the Surface | ♥ 6 | Impressive amount of stuff added! Felt very atmospheric. Would have liked volume settings as it was too loud on headphones especially as some of the audio was clipping and popping. The UI could do with more polish, I'm not sure how I was doing it but the guy kept walking away as I was trying to click on something. The chat box could do with being more central and prominent, I kept on trying to click or move only to see there was still a little bit of text left to read freezing me in place |
| Apr 27 19:32:15 | 16m 04s | In Search of Sigmund I | ♥ 3 | Nice mix of varied enemies, movement is good. Also an upgrade system! I kept seeming to clip the narrow tunnel on the level transition which seems sticky and slows your sub down, apart from that the boundaries worked okay. Also an explaination when you get to the bottom would be useful, I'm not quite sure why I died or is the other sub not friendly? |
| Apr 28 16:16:20 | 20h 44m | The Bothnia Trench | ♥ 1 | Well done not normally a fan of point and click, but keeping a simple clean and small enviorment the hunting isn't too bad. Apart from the βvialβ but even that avoided the "Rubber Chicken" trope that too many point and clicks have. Dialogue is great and all in all a very smooth experience, the dialogue selection UI is clean, simple and works better than the other entries I've seen here. For even better polish I'd suggest making the doorways more visible to get back into the corridor, and when going back to the corrior the camera should start centred around the door you've come back through to avoid any disorientation |
| Apr 28 16:44:01 | 27m 41s | Tower Tower Defence Defence | ♥ 1 | Great idea and well executed! This looks like a huge time sink! The only thing keeping it from perfection is the mini-map on the right, I thought time was paused while in the turret until I died! Then I'm not sure how but maybe some colouring for the progress bars to show how many times it's been reset so I can see which will upgrade and which ones are stuck. The UI glitched on Firefox but okay on chrome |
| Apr 28 16:54:05 | 10m 04s | Dark waters | ♥ 2 | I was moving downwards for about 5 minutes before I was wondering where all the fish were. Doh mouse wheel, which turns out to be inverted on my computer! Very nice colours and very chilled out |
| Apr 28 17:04:33 | 10m 28s | Deep Jam | ♥ 1 | Art is great, really smooth, nice pressing music and the deadline gives pressure. I don't mind the speed but the hitbox for the errors is brutal, insta death even if I do land on a box! my best after 60 attempts must have been 10 seconds and the only time I made it to the second bit with the slidy boxes, where I lived for so short a time I didn't even know what killed me there |
| Apr 28 17:37:15 | 32m 42s | Dwarven Surveyor | ♥ 1 | 103/155 π This is the favourite game I've played yet. Like the minesweeper mechanic but the level peeking is what makes it! |
| Apr 29 19:56:22 | 26h 19m | Descent into Madness | ♥ 1 | Nice lighting and music very atmospheric, nice variation in obstacles, the angler fish type thing is my least favourite by far! |
| Apr 29 20:05:29 | 9m 07s | Slumber | ♥ 1 | Nice take on the theme, the babies sounded super annoying so well done I guess!? Very well put together, graphics were great and the game was polished, only minor issue was it was a little fiddly, and I seemed to get stuck on the bouncer a lot. |
| Apr 29 20:23:17 | 17m 48s | Fly Away | ♥ 1 | Really nice and fun little entry, I'm afraid I got stuck on level 7. I did give it a good try but had enough after the second time the hitbox around the feet clipped the fences. Worth fixing it, as you want players to have the adrenaline rush of "wow that was close" not the disappointment of "that sucks my feet didn't even hit anything!" |
| Apr 29 20:33:21 | 10m 04s | Onigiri Mining Corporation | ♥ 0 | γ¬γ¬γ γ²γ π |
| Apr 29 20:48:24 | 15m 03s | Outerstellar | ♥ 3 | Really nice atmosphere, it felt dark and the planets were nice and glowy, an arrow to point you back to the space station would be really helpful. I really liked drawing out the map. There is no friction in space so would have liked to have been able to move as such without drag. |
| Apr 29 20:53:33 | 5m 09s | DOWN - The Descend | ♥ 0 | Game was stuck on the loading screen and trying to quit I got an unhandled exception: ``` See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at LD48.Game.DoDispose() at ChaosGame.Disposable.Dispose() at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnFormClosing(FormClosingEventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WmClose(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) ************** Loaded Assemblies ************** mscorlib Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4084.0 built by: NET48REL1 CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.NET/Framework64/v4.0.30319/mscorlib.dll ---------------------------------------- LD48 Assembly Version: 1.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 1.0.0.0 CodeBase: file:///C:/Users/Alex/Downloads/x64/LD48.exe ---------------------------------------- System.Windows.Forms Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4084.0 built by: NET48REL1 CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Windows.Forms/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Windows.Forms.dll ---------------------------------------- System Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4084.0 built by: NET48REL1 CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Drawing Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4084.0 built by: NET48REL1 CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Drawing/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Drawing.dll ---------------------------------------- ChaosGame Assembly Version: 1.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 1.0.0.0 CodeBase: file:///C:/Users/Alex/Downloads/x64/ChaosGame.DLL ---------------------------------------- System.Core Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4084.0 built by: NET48REL1 CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Core/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Core.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Configuration Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4084.0 built by: NET48REL1 CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Configuration/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Configuration.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Xml Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4084.0 built by: NET48REL1 CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Xml/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Xml.dll ---------------------------------------- Collections Assembly Version: 1.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 1.0.0.0 CodeBase: file:///C:/Users/Alex/Downloads/x64/Collections.DLL ---------------------------------------- ChaosMath Assembly Version: 1.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 1.0.0.0 CodeBase: file:///C:/Users/Alex/Downloads/x64/ChaosMath.DLL ---------------------------------------- ChaosGraphics Assembly Version: 1.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 1.0.0.0 CodeBase: file:///C:/Users/Alex/Downloads/x64/ChaosGraphics.DLL ---------------------------------------- ChaosSound AL Assembly Version: 1.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 1.0.0.0 CodeBase: file:///C:/Users/Alex/Downloads/x64/ChaosSound%20AL.DLL ---------------------------------------- ChaosInput Assembly Version: 1.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 1.0.0.0 CodeBase: file:///C:/Users/Alex/Downloads/x64/ChaosInput.DLL ---------------------------------------- ChaosPhysics Assembly Version: 1.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 1.0.0.0 CodeBase: file:///C:/Users/Alex/Downloads/x64/ChaosPhysics.DLL ---------------------------------------- ChaosSound Assembly Version: 1.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 1.0.0.0 CodeBase: file:///C:/Users/Alex/Downloads/x64/ChaosSound.DLL ---------------------------------------- ChaosMenu Assembly Version: 1.0.0.0 ``` |
| Apr 29 21:15:24 | 21m 51s | Deepspace | ♥ 1 | The music and the hand drawn stuff is great, as is the inventory. Great achievement given the time you had was really feeling the FTL vibes. Sometimes weapon attacks didn't seem to respond after clicking, and after an enemy encounter it seems like you have to press the leave button twice. A bit of UI polish and it would be a solid game! |
| Apr 30 18:41:32 | 21h 26m | Upset Crab | ♥ 1 | Nice pixel art and background parallax! |
| Apr 30 19:04:36 | 23m 04s | Dome Romantik | ♥ 1 | Absolutely nailed down the mechanics, and it looks really nice too |
| Apr 30 19:10:28 | 5m 52s | Nuclear blaze | ♥ 1 | Wow great particle effects, also the map reveal looks really crip! |
| Apr 30 19:19:05 | 8m 37s | Into the Deep Web | ♥ 1 | Wow, this has a lot of potential I like the battle mechanics and the encounters, I did quite enjoy the anticlimactic ending! A bit of music and audio, and it would be perfect! |
| May 8 13:08:15 | 185h 49m | Alcheminer | ♥ 1 | How does the pump work? Nevermind Seems to work on the download version... Really enjoyed this game and spent far too long on it, a few more tools would have been quite interesting, filters, placeable taps, some cheap liquid to flush stuff out |
| May 8 13:21:20 | 13m 05s | Dwammings | ♥ 3 | Really got into the game, only sad at some of the dwarfs who got trapped in a circle after calling the end bell! Really enjoy the puzzle elements about how to safely dig down more |
| May 8 13:43:09 | 21m 49s | Deeper-Geddon | ♥ 1 | Nice little factory game, slight issue with z-fighting between the sprites. I liked the 10-minute countdown which felt like just the right time to feel some pressure If the conveyor rear orientation stayed when switching between angles that would have helped a lot. Also, the delete tool you have to click on the origin tile for the building rather than just any building tile |
| May 8 14:52:05 | 1h 08m | Third Party | ♥ 0 | Maybe it was the web version but all the dead bodies were spinning around like mad? I'd have played more but the elevator loading screen took far too long. Graphically it looks great though |
| May 8 18:31:42 | 3h 39m | Just keep sinking | ♥ 1 | Nice art style and nice and simple I like the mix of critters and their different movements. Able to increase and decrease the speed of descent would be interesting. Nice to have a control method other than keyboard like most of the entries. I also note a weird 1px border of pixels Well done for making 20 ratings! π |
| May 8 18:52:08 | 20m 26s | Lies & Descent | ♥ 1 | Glad I downloaded it the Web version was practically unplayable from being so dark and the mouse very sensitive. The climbing mechanic was enjoyable even though I wasn't very good. The press jump longer to jump higher was good but being a little more forgiving when jumping from the side of the ledge would be nice (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFsJIrm2btU), I kept falling from the pillar especially the triangular one second from last. |
| May 8 19:08:38 | 16m 30s | BreakEven | ♥ 1 | Very retro, I'm not familiar with the TIC-80 so it is probably pretty impressive use of the limit specs of the machine, the inertia to the movement was nice, getting a bit of lateral velocity to snipe enemies was good. Found clipping into the grey building quite annoying though. |
| May 8 19:56:37 | 47m 59s | Tom's Twist | ♥ 1 | Nice low poly style, and great little narrative, good pace. A minor improvement would be to face the player looking out the door on the second day rather than facing into the door. |
| May 9 19:15:22 | 23h 18m | The Icarus | ♥ 1 | That was the most claustrophobic game I've ever played well done! The sonar really builds the mood and over time you get better at reading the landscape (cavescape?) when you come to the really large decent bit you I really had my heart in my stomach when I realised I was over a pit which was so deep it started off, off the scales! |
| May 9 19:22:43 | 7m 21s | Bus Crawl | ♥ 0 | How do you place more than two stops for a route? |
