| Apr 26 03:19:56 | Challenge Tunnel | ♥ 0 | Not a bad puzzle. Near the end, I feel like I was just mindlessly walking around and running into levers. IMO the best part was in the middle where you have to go back and turn off a lever that you previously had to turn on. That required a little thinking. | |
| Apr 26 03:33:08 | 13m 12s | Dash To The Core | ♥ 1 | This was legitimately fun to play. Some cool looking obstacles would help, rather than just circles and rectangles, but the important thing is that every time I died, I wanted to play again. My high score is 297 btw |
| Apr 26 04:11:16 | 38m 08s | Space Dig | ♥ 1 | Gorgeous game, but also frustrating at times. You lose health even if you barely tink an asteroid. All warnings are the same sound effect, so if pirates attack while your storage is full, or fuel is low, it's not clear that there's a new danger, especially if you're in the shop which obscures the mini-map. The amount of stuff there is crazy impressive for 48 hours though! I particularly enjoyed the little orange astronauts that pour out when you die. |
| Apr 26 04:49:49 | 38m 33s | Miner Rescue | ♥ 2 | That sound design is godly! It really tied the whole thing together. The difficult controls really hurt the experience though, especially since you take damage for falling a little more than a single tile. |
| Apr 26 18:06:18 | 13h 16m | MASSdrill | ♥ 0 | This game was fun to try to highscore on. I figured out you can double click on the drill to make it continue going in the same direction. The first of the double clicks can also place a building, so I would click on the house in the shop, then double click the drill repeatedly along a row to place lots of houses. I'm not sure if the ability to do this is intentional or emergent, but it was fun to discover either way! One thing I'll say is that if you add cool stuff to your game, like the city, but it's too expensive, players will use it once and then ignore it.Screen Shot 2021-04-26 at 1.58.25 PM.png |
| Apr 26 19:05:06 | 58m 48s | Road to Treasure | ♥ 1 | The lighting and aesthetic are very nice, but it's a bit slow. There's a lot of down time waiting for something to happen |
| Apr 26 19:18:59 | 13m 53s | To Descend | ♥ 1 | The dialogue was charming. I didn't think I'd play a game where I ended up in a toilet today, but here I am. Good thing her friend doesn't chew her jelly beans though |
| Apr 26 22:48:06 | 3h 29m | AeroCat | ♥ 3 | This is by far the best LD game I've played. Great concept, beautiful visuals and sound, all around brilliant. If I had to give some criticism (and I'm really digging here), I think the controls are a little awkward. I'm not sure if I want the cat to be diving vertically or staying sideways like a parachute. |
| Apr 26 23:03:10 | 15m 04s | MushDeepMushLeak | ♥ 0 | I hate it when the Godot icon chases me and makes me piss smh |
| Apr 27 04:34:44 | 5h 31m | Minexile | ♥ 1 | I love these little dudes. This is a very ambitious game to make in 48 hours, and you did a great job |
| Apr 27 04:46:00 | 11m 16s | An Unexpected Mishap in Naval Mine Cove | ♥ 2 | Fun, and also very frantic! When standing on the middle platform, it's just barely possible to dodge a big bomb when one comes into view. Great submission. |
| Apr 27 20:14:09 | 15h 28m | Burrow | ♥ 0 | Fun concept, with great graphics and sound. I wish there was something to do after you store enough food for winter though, instead of waiting for the timer to run out |
| Apr 29 01:31:12 | 29h 17m | Corla | ♥ 2 | Very fun and addictive! It's pretty, it sounds great, it's got it all. This is one of my top 2 LD games I've seen so far. Unfortunately both me and my friend's game froze. For me, it happened when I double clicked on the hole above me as I was being attacked |
| Apr 29 20:02:54 | 18h 31m | Where is Bob | ♥ 1 | I can tell you put a crap ton of effort into this, and it shows. Very funny concept, and not bad gameplay either. I feel bad for the elephant tho... those spikes :( |
| Apr 29 20:11:34 | 8m 40s | Vibin' Secrets | ♥ 0 | Interesting mechanic, and fantastic ending |
| Apr 29 20:55:00 | 43m 26s | Afraid to Turn | ♥ 1 | Gangbusters sound design, and great pixel art! I enjoyed the simples controls for scaring off the wolves, they seemed very intuitive. |
| Apr 29 20:59:47 | 4m 47s | Goober Bros. | ♥ 1 | Cool music and interesting 2-players 1-keyboard setup. I'm not sure if it's intentional that both players die if they run into each other, but it's definitely funny either way lol |
| Apr 30 23:09:34 | 26h 09m | Deep Freeze CafĂ© | ♥ 1 | Great models given the time constraints. When I'm walking downwards, I have to stop and wait for the camera to catch up though. |
| Apr 30 23:26:12 | 16m 38s | Erode | ♥ 0 | It's a very fun and unique concept. It seems like map generation has a big impact on how far you get though. When I got my high score, it felt like I just got a good map rather than I accomplished something. |
| May 1 04:36:05 | 5h 09m | Deeper into hell | ♥ 1 | Very fun, tight game. I had some slight problems with the procedural generation, where power-ups were inaccessible behind water. Procedurally generating maps might have been too ambitious for LD, where most people will only play through once. The boxes vanishing after you touch them was a smart choice, and removed some of the frustration with the typically clunky steer + forwards/backwards control scheme. |
| May 1 04:52:54 | 16m 49s | Dwarven Descent | ♥ 1 | I like the throwing mechanic; it was very refreshing to not just shoot projectiles out of a gun like most other games. The death screen showing time, score, and number of treasures found lets players try to optimize whatever they think is funnest, which is really cool. |
| May 1 05:12:05 | 19m 11s | Depthplosion | ♥ 1 | Depthplosion has the best mood of any of the LD games I've played so far. It's the only one of these games I've found scary. The stark lighting, constant threat of being blown up, strange sounds, and lack of any way to fight back worked very well together. Also, my computer is a potato so I got 2-3 fps with input lag of about 1 second, which contributed to the feeling of helplessness. |
| May 1 19:39:15 | 14h 27m | Pearls of Wisdom | ♥ 1 | Fun to play, and I liked the little pearls of wisdom. It felt good to upgrade my oxygen tank, but after a couple upgrades it felt unnecessary because I could always comfortably get all the treasure with about half a tank left over. |
| May 1 19:54:50 | 15m 35s | Ancient Maze (starring Mathilda Ayume) | ♥ 1 | Really great art and music; reminds me of Total Party Kill. Very impressive for 48 hours. |
| May 2 00:24:30 | 4h 29m | Miner Creeper | ♥ 1 | Your game has a great aesthetic, but I have problems switching to a different pickaxe once I pick it up. Great for a first entry! |
| May 2 00:28:33 | 4m 03s | DO NOT INSERT INSIDE THE EAR CANAL!!! | ♥ 1 | What a great game! Super funny concept and actually fun gameplay. Only criticism is I wish I could see how few attempts it took me to win |
| May 2 00:55:29 | 26m 56s | Chess Hellevator | ♥ 1 | Cool puzzles. The trade-off between killing pawns or pressing buttons was interesting to try to figure out. |
| May 2 03:18:28 | 2h 22m | Digmania | ♥ 1 | I LOVE the global leaderboard. It really gives you something to play for |
| May 5 20:00:08 | 88h 41m | Space Dwarf Alchemist Go! | ♥ 1 | Great graphic, and fun gameplay too. I'm not sure I needed all that gold though. After a couple upgrades, I was just accumulating more gold than I could use. I guess it is good for looking at tho :) |
| May 5 20:36:23 | 36m 15s | Kurou's mind fights | ♥ 1 | Great graphics and sound. The black text on a dark brown background is *very* hard to read however |
