one of the things that i realise we need to do is some tweaks to how hard it is to pick up the fruit as well as some other things. im not sure why their were some glitches of freezing and will also look into that.
im really glad you like the colours concept and peaceful environment and hopefully you will come back and test and updated version soon
really appreciate the feedback, we are still yet to implement an end game screen which means the current freeze at the end is normal and we are still working on it to improve it (outside the jam)
really nice game, very good concept with fun gameplay.

its a really neat little game. very clean and satisfying to play. it keeps with the theme very well. it would be nice to have some sort of objective to the game other than just survive.
an idea that i had was to collect small bubbles that give you a bonus to your score but makes you bigger making it progressively harder to get through smaller gaps
really cool game, i love the running animation!!!!!! the mechanics are really fun to use. it would be nice to see some of the fire mechanisms and switches a little earlier on as i nearly stopped playing before i got there (went back when i read one of the other comments)
as per the other comments the dialogue was very funny although i rhink it could have gone a bit "Deeper (sorry couldnt resist) the game was great, got hard at parts but was still very fun
really nice game. the graphichs were really cute and reminded me of some old games i used to pplay when i was younger. the game had an interesting feel to it with the wall walking which i really enjoyed although sometimes the felt weird switching between floor and roof. over all i really enjoyed it though
very chill game, the narration was very engaging and the asthetic was very nice. id like to see some more interaction within the game, more decisions as the game felt more like a story than a game.
Cant wait to try the updated version when ready!!!
i like the concept of the game although there are a few things that need polishing. some sort of respawn indicator would be nice for each coffin. i like the idea of trying to juggle items although it does need a little work as i often picked up with wring item and it seemed to favor picking up coffins. another thing that kept tripping me up is the completion bar when digging was too short and would show that it was complete before the hole appeared. lastly i feel that there needs to be a bigger reward for burying a coffin due to how long it takes as it doesn't seem worth it other than to get "points" (maybe some health back for each complete bury could be nice)
although there is a bit of work that i feel could be done these are all adjustments or extras and not problems with the game itself. the shooting felt nice especially when mowing down a hoard of zombies and the movement was smooth.
really beautiful game. the acceleration of the player felt a little slow and would be nice to see more reward for killing enemies (e.g. higher chance of he better powerups) the last thing i have to say is that the powerups despawned almost instantly so couldnt pick them up often. with a few tweaks this could be a 5 star game and im genuinly excited to see any more development to it
the game felt a little unfinished and that it needed a few more things to do other than walk through doors
really great game!!! played this the longest of all the games ive tested so far. gave it nearly full marks. the one thing i would mention is that the death contact is very sensitive and would die often from landing next to a wall but that is the only thing that io think could improve.
prety much perfect and im gonna go back and play it some more now

really cool game although it took a while to actually get to the cave. it would be nice if there was a way to refule your lighter and glowsticks. the repel feature was very cool and overall movement felt nice
really nice game. the aesthetic was very nice and the mechanics felt smooth, one thing was that the raft blocked shits making it impossible to his some enemies but overall the game was good fun !!!!

Thank you for the feedback. I think that the addition of a meter for the gun would be good and will implement that once the jam is over. As for the particle effects, we decided to prioritise other things ahead of them while in the jam due to time although they are definitely something we would.like to add after aswell
@pennycook the slow moving background was intended to give the impression of distance as stars dont move much in the background due to them being far away although i can see how this can make the game feel slow and we will take another look at the speed of the background and see how a faster one looks.
@evn thank you for your feedback! the shooting stars do actually kill you if youre hit by them, they are small but fast! obviously you are a master of the games as you didnt die to one so well done!!! as for the meter, we will get one added after the jam is over :)
the movement and slow shooting were deliberate decisions as we wanted the game to be focused on avoiding rocks and using your shots wisely. i do aggree with the idea f having feedback on destroyed asteroids though. thanks for the feedback
looks really good, feels very nice. just need the buttons on the home screen to work and then youre all set!!! loveee the game though
really like the design, would be nice if the tasks were a bit more interactive as it felt i was just running from place to place. also im sorry to say that i dont see the link to the theme of going deeper and deeper. that said its very cute and chill with good dialogue and relatively funny at times ("hey babe" really got me) overall i very much enjoyed it.
WOW!!!!!!! really great game, gave it lots of 5 stars cos it was that good!!!! would like to see a score of some sort so that you know how far you've gone also the left wall is a bit weird where i can go inside it a little. othere than thoes small thing the game is prety much perfect <3 <3 <3
cute game with nice music and loved the addition of a little bit of story. all in a ll well done
the beginning scene was quite nice and i enjoyed the graphics. after that i got very frustrated at the game as i started by falling down lower than where i started (which feels sucky) also the players movement felt very skittish and ended up falling down often losing all my progress. to sum up i feel this game has potential to be amazing with some addition of checkpoints and a refinement of the players movement. (also this game is literally the opposite of going deeper and deeper)
that game felt a little incomplete and there were a few bugs with players getting caught on eachother. i alos feel that there needed to be a little more interaction other than managing the stats. that said the artwork was cute which i very much liked and the music was also very chill. good job and am looking forward to seeing a complete version
lovely little game with a very relatable theme which i like. would be nice to see some movement animations in the future as it looks like youre gliding but the controlls were very smooth
lovely little game, the art was really cute especially the jumping animation and the bird booping the baloon. i would have liekd to see it get progressivly harder as currently i think that it misses the mark on the theme as its prety easy to keep the baloon up for as long as you would like
thank you everyone for your feedback! its great to see that even with a few notes on how to improve the game that everyone is enjoying it. @cad a reset button is one of the things we would have liked to implement that we didnt quite have time for. @itooh i would love to hear your thoughts as to how we could make the zappy block more useful @kurakurture glad you found a stratagy that worked for you! in future updates after the game jam we are planning to update the game to restrict blocks being placed within the enemy zones (where the cannons are). and as for rotating the block you can use right click to rotate clockwise a bit smoother than the mouse wheel. we decided against incrementing the rotation by a set angle as we wanted a bit more freedom and precision of the angles that you can place the blocks at
@skyward4d if you find that funny wait until you hear how the sound effects were made. the cannon explosion was a recording of us slaming a draw shut (the bang sound) and the boiling of a kettle (the grumbley part) and even better.........the building a block sound was a combination of hitting a coin on a coke bottle (hammer sound) and us scraping a knife accross some burnt tost (saw sound) (needless to say that the other people in the house thought we were going a bit crazy)
@mrpouletbzh thanks for the feedback, would like to know if the bug happend just once or if it was a reoccuring bug. also the reason the game has been ballenced to be a litte on the difficult side is because we had to ensure the inevitibility thatthe castle will eventually fall to fit with the theme.
