Funny little game. I liked the opening dialog and the whole silliness of the situation. I also really appreciated the breaking through the floor to reveal the sublevel. Well done!
I did have some problems with the controls though. I felt like I didn't have a lot of control over my character, especially when I was in the air. I would often slide off the non-ice platforms. It just felt a little loose or something. I can't quite describe it.

The start was nice. The graphics and control could use some love.

Good job on this! I didn't get hardly anywhere, though. The game is just too difficult! The physics on your movement is just too hard to control for me. And the jumps on the lower level are just too precise. I don't play many platformers for just these kinds of reasons, so I can't say that I enjoyed myself, but I can see how others might like it! The dialogue was a nice touch, and the music and graphics seemed appropriate!
the beginning scene was quite nice and i enjoyed the graphics. after that i got very frustrated at the game as i started by falling down lower than where i started (which feels sucky) also the players movement felt very skittish and ended up falling down often losing all my progress. to sum up i feel this game has potential to be amazing with some addition of checkpoints and a refinement of the players movement. (also this game is literally the opposite of going deeper and deeper)
Too difficult for me! But the animations and humor are great

This is a pretty well polished gamed! I think the controls were a bit slide-y for me

It's a little difficult game for me but quite nice. Good job !
You've made a very funny and frustrating game. As person that makes frustrating games, I respect that. Nice work.

Those are some tight jumps! I definitely laughed when I first fell and plummeted into the sewers.

This is your first Ludum Dare, it seems! Welcome and please come back next year!
The game is not bad but it has its frustrating side for sure. I loved the intro dialogue and the whole bizarre situation. The graphics are pretty nice, too -- especially the characters!
I think the only new point I have to bring is the following. OK, that fall through the ground to the sewers was cool. It looked great and was surprising. But, looking from another perspective, I'd say it does a bad for the gameplay. The problem is that it puts the player in a position that is worse than the one at the beginning of the game. I, for myself, simply restarted the game whenever I felt to the sewers.
Side note: your game somehow made me remember a very old game from the very old MSX 8-bit computer: _Magical Tree_ by Konami
Inputs were a little slidey but other than that nice work! I liked the story!

Mmm, the idea is interesting, but the way it is executed mostly makes the game too punitive. Every failure is punished harder, and most of the time you just have to start all over again. kinda like Getting Over It, except that you can't even be cautious!
But at least now I learned how to complete the level with a single try! Despite being harsh, the game's not _too_ hard and the controls feels nice! I also enjoyed the humor, and the music is kinda nice. It's still a pretty good job!
I enjoyed your game. I've used Construct 2 in the past and you put together a nice game using it. I liked the graphics and the Construction Man reminded me of an old platforming game called "Hard Hat Mack". I had to learn to control my jump by falling to the bottom over and over. I got better, but I never seemed to master it. Thanks for making me laugh during the intro and the first failed jump!
