I like its ui and interactive way.

Aaaah I got to dear ol' Bravast, and the text got too long for my screen resolution, I can't scroll or go any further :'( (attaching screenshot if you want to look into it) With that being said, I thoroughly enjoyed what I was able to play, I love interactive narratives, and the tone, writing and humour were amazing. Very intrigued by the story, would love to play it up to completion! Both planets I have explored have such brilliant identities, it makes you want to explore them all!bravast.jpg

@charlinef Thanks for your kind words and catching that! It's fixed now :bug:

Really nice!

very cool game I’m a huge huge fan of interactive fiction and you rarely see one of those on LD, so it’s refreshing! Very neat, very polished experience. Is it a twine game?

pyrofoux 2021-04-28 21:31

@dotsquare It is! We implemented the navigation map on the left to follow you during your journey, but at the core it's a Twine game.

dotsquare 2021-04-28 21:48

@pyrofoux cool! It reminded me a bit of a game called Out There that I really like, I don’t know if you’ve played this one? A French game by Fibretigre

Great writing! Like the UI and the animations. I'm guessing this is Twine, but I don't think I have ever seen a Twine-game with this much graphics. The watch you could click if you were impatient was a funny touch. Good job!

very chill game, the narration was very engaging and the asthetic was very nice. id like to see some more interaction within the game, more decisions as the game felt more like a story than a game.

dan-gomme 2021-04-29 10:13

@themightytrout We were actually intending on there being more choice between destinations, we just didn't have the time to write them all :) And yes, this was Twine, Chapbook specifically, with a *healthy* dose of JavaScript extension.

Cant wait to try the updated version when ready!!!

zenbarista 2021-05-02 14:03

Absolutely love this game!

itooh 2021-05-04 18:52

Really great writing and presentation! I especially enjoyed the pace of the game. Waiting gives importance to time, it reinforces the sensation of traveling and discovering new places. The story has a solid theme and mood, and despite the format achieves to offer memorable places and characters. Without feeling too dark despite talking about death! It was a wonderful journey, and a great take on the theme.

zondarg 2021-05-08 11:57

Very cool, to see how you extended Twine and added the visual progress feedback for the journey. Also, the songs from the intern and the disc helped much to convey the mood of lonelyness on the long way to the destination, only picking up glimpses of life from nearby systems. While it does not offer much freedom of choice it is an experience worth the time. And the feedback at the end is an interesting idea too. Great job!

scruffylooking2121 2021-05-08 13:44

Nicely written story. It worked well with the theme, and the mood really captured the isolation of the character's journey through space. Nice story.

pune007 2021-05-18 10:39

How did you make this in 72 hours. Like damn, the story is captivating and makes you want to explore this world more. Make this a steam game, please

koroshi 2021-05-18 10:48

The story is nicely written the art is neat, the fact that the music isn't always here really set the lonely journey mood of the game, nicely done !

zuvr 2021-05-18 12:02

Loved it! I really love narrative journeys like the one you've made here, and the subject matter was touching and interesting, very inspirational!

As you've mentioned, having any sort of branching would've made the experience a lot more "gamey". But personally I was mostly expecting to see how other people concluded the probe's journey.

The little music sections did wonders for the mood, and the writing was great!

Good job!
