LD32 — An Unconventional Weapon

Alien Crab in the Ghostmaze by Xaychru 2015-04-21T00:06:00

Great game, gorgeous graphics and the story is nice too! I think the game is a little unforgiving though as the speed of your character is a bit too high. I love the idea of the paper fan too, even though it's not really a weapon as much as it is a tool.

Gradience by Grieve 2015-04-29T13:37:00

Cool game and neat concept, but it was a bit simple and the game froze at the end of the tutorial. I guess a bit more depth would have been good.

TeleMage by ProjectX593 2015-04-21T01:31:00

Neat idea and very challenging! Graphics are well done but sound is a bit lacking without a soundtrack. Still, quite enjoyable!

Gluebie by slowfrog 2015-04-29T13:30:00

Nice idea, but the execution is too simplistic to make for a really satisfying game. If you expand on these mechanics in the future however, it does have potential.

Unconventional Guns by rectangular Tim 2015-04-20T14:10:00

Pretty fun, but I would have liked some music. Puzzles definitely made me think!

Static Charge 'Cleaner' 5000 by SeriouslyCrunchy 2015-04-29T13:41:00

The mechanics were fun and the idea is indeed very unique and unconventional, but the fact that levels are randomly generated kind of took away from the game in my opinion. I think homemade levels would have been better suited for this particular entry.

GLOV3.1 by flummox3d 2015-04-29T13:56:00

One of the best entries I've played so far! Solid mechanics, controls and levels, and the dialog between levels gives it a pretty neat humorist atmosphere! The only thing I can really complain about is the lack of music, but you didn't want to be rated on that front, so it's fine.

FINAL BREAKFAST: Your World is Toast by GhostBomb 2015-04-21T01:26:00

Pretty tight! Just wish it didn't stretch beyond my screen size though... but hey, I guess that's what portrait mode is for!

Intersection by okacat 2015-04-21T00:20:00

This is one of the most unique games I've played this LD, congrats! It may not be very deep, but it is entertaining to see vehicles smash each other at the press of a button (literally!).

LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

URBO by hadesfury 2015-12-15T04:58:00

I have no idea what the heck is going on, but I love it. 10/10

Squishy the Turtle by cppchriscpp 2015-12-14T05:11:00

cool game, but the lack of music was regrettable.

However, the fact that this is programmed for the Game Boy redeems any negative aspect of the game. Definitely awesome of you to pull this off!

Growy the Flowy by Optimus6128 2015-12-14T03:19:00

I have to admit, that's a novel mechanic if I've ever seen one. Good job!

Rise by Crafting4U 2015-12-14T03:43:00

Decent little game, but the controls felt weird to use and I glitched through a wall into the void on the second level. Still, nice implementation of the growth theme!

Griffin Card by uheartbeast 2015-12-15T00:47:00

Cool idea and execution, good work! Wish there were music though.

Over Grown by The Pelranthean 2015-12-15T00:59:00

Took me a second to get that you need to point in the direction that you want to move towards, but other than that is was fun. Only gripe is with the fact that the enemy AI is kind of dumb, but then again it's hard to make good AI in two days. Good job!

Castle Hassle by realbogart 2015-12-14T04:35:00

No music and had nothing to do with the theme of growth. At least you only had two "actions" (dropping items and using them) but then you still had the arrow keys so this doesn't really qualify for either theme. Almost enjoyable.

Dandelion by ciaodavinci 2015-12-14T05:44:00

Very beautiful game! I would say something else, but I just really think it was enjoyable. Props to you!

Two Button Gardening by freddyw9 2015-12-14T04:30:00

More of a toy than a real game, but still enjoyable! I would have liked it if it didn't run a bit slow (average 15 fps) but then again maybe it's my piece of garbage computer acting up. Either way good job on this!

SideQuest by MorseAmalgam 2015-12-14T07:26:00

Neat dialog tree. Definitely one of the more novel games out there!

Colony by Dust Cloud 2015-12-14T05:05:00

Cool idea, but it's kind of boring after a while and it doesn't process in the background.

The Beanstalk by Mithreindeir 2015-12-14T03:29:00

Yo, the source is not working, you might want to fix that lol, it says that I don't have access to the repository.

YesNo Zen by Borodar 2015-12-14T03:24:00

Cool education game. And respects the theme, nicely done!

LD38 — A Small World

Vertical City by LiamLime 2017-05-18T14:16:15Z

I don't understand how the game works. To be fair, I've never played simtower or highrise before, so that may be why, but I had no idea what was happening when I was playing. I see someone talking about a person sprite, but I haven't seen anything like that, and I built every building possible. Once buildings are built, what is supposed to happen?

Escapist ! by Number6406 2017-05-18T14:01:44Z

Ok, so this was actually a pretty cool game. It's impressive how you were able to make a floodable world in such a small amount of time! There is one issue though, and it's that when you try to build a thing and it says "not enough population" it should probably say "not enough workers" since you're expending workers, and not population to build things, but I guess that's a pretty minor thing. Plus, trying to escape a sinking world was kinda stressful haha, glad I was able to make it in time.

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

GET HOME SAFE by ProgramGamer 2018-04-27T17:43:46Z

It's made in GameMaker Studio 2, which, all things considered, might not have been the absolute best choice.
