Just Ask Her Out by ciderWrath 2017-12-23T18:10:50Z ♥ 1

Okay. How dare you 1) make me laugh so hard and 2) make me relive the awkwardness of high school? I was honestly taken aback by how quickly I fell into the character's POV. I know everything is rough around the edges but I really enjoyed it. It was very funny and very heartfelt. The branches were good and I did try every option just to see how things ended up.

Well done!

Hungry Dino by nax_89 2017-12-23T17:54:59Z ♥ 1

This was a good game. I liked the puzzle aspect and felt the difficulty ramped up appropriately except that the last level was a bit easier the previous. The dinosaur was very cute. I did like how you incorporated the theme, turning what would have been a dead easy platformer into a puzzle game. I also liked the little touches like the screen shake when you were large enough and you landed.

The only nitpicks I have are using space to reset rather than for jumping. I also found that jumping was not always as responsive as I would have liked, but I think that is a Construct issue.

Overall, I enjoyed this game a lot.

Virus Detected by NotSpaghettiGames 2017-12-23T17:41:21Z ♥ 2

I really enjoyed this game. It reminded me a bit of Reassembly. I was trying to figure out what the connection to the theme was when I died after reviving a dead cell. I hadn't been hit once and bam, I just died. Playing again I actually paid attention and saw that reviving the cells takes away from your own HP. I enjoyed that mechanic and was more careful with what I resurrected and when.

A Walk To The Finish Line by jk5000 2017-12-23T17:28:30Z ♥ 1

I enjoyed the game. The water trap on the third level took me a couple of tries before I figured out what was going on, but I like that in a game. The difficulty increased well, not too quick but fast enough to get to the interesting puzzles.

Well done!

Elden by red-fan-games 2017-12-23T02:42:45Z ♥ 1

I liked the strong Quake feel to the game.

Bearhalla by madjackmcmad 2017-12-09T01:45:47Z ♥ 1

Okay, this was a ton of fun. The badger tornado was a pain in the neck and awesome. I especially loved the destructible walls. I have only two nitpicks, 1) I would have liked the bear to move faster, and 2) the difficulty ramped up a little quickly.

Overall this was awesome and you did a great job!

King's Gambit by shyguy567 2017-12-08T03:09:52Z ♥ 1

I liked the characters. I'm not sure why, but the names of the religions made me laugh, so thanks. I actually enjoyed the game. My only note is that when actually playing, when I checked the dossiers and came back to the screen with the nobles, I wasn't able to click on them anymore. I would suggest not allowing the player to go back and look at the dossiers once the game starts.

Overall, this was fun!

Oh no! Zombies! by Benjamin San Souci 2017-12-08T02:33:11Z ♥ 1

It's been a long time since I played a game that frustrated me so much but still really enjoyed playing. I especially liked the twist and it took me several achievements to figure out what was going on.

You did a great job an I enjoyed playing.

LD38 — A Small World (4)

Strangeness by philomory 2017-05-20T02:38:08Z ♥ 1

This was a surprisingly fun game. I don't usually puzzle games, but this one was interesting enough to keep me attentive. The puzzle difficulty ramped up nicely. I do wish there were more levels in the Jam version. The post jam version added those levels and were fun, though the last was much more difficult than the second to last.

I did like that there were multiple ways to beat some levels.

A Smaller World by Frederika 2017-05-16T03:17:03Z ♥ 0

Well, that was heavy. The premise is an interesting take on the theme, and I gave an extra star for that. I wish there was a bit more choice, but the Christmas party was a nice touch. It humanized the character and made everything seem a bit more upbeat. I did play the game a couple of times trying to see what the different options at the party affected. I would have liked to see some change later in the game depending on the choice made at the party.

Overall, I liked despite how dark that got a the end.

Pale White Dot by cosine 2017-05-15T02:20:55Z ♥ 1

This is really good. It shows that this was a compo, but I am impressed by what you were able to get done in the time you had. Having also played the post compo version, I see that you were able to fix some of the issues with the compo version.

Holy Shit! A Spider !!! by Aurelien 2017-05-06T03:05:27Z ♥ 1

I really enjoyed this game. The audio was great. Being a spider was amusing. I did like the saving mechanism. I do wish that I could move all the way left.

I really like this one!

PHOSPHORUS by rnlf 2016-08-28T20:40:00

Controlling the phosphorus does not feel very well. It's kind of clumsy. Play 'Icy Tower' and you'll know what I mean. Otherwise not too bad. But how did your game fit the theme?
