LD38 — A Small World

D4RK and the Small Worlds by abhimonk 2017-04-23T22:46:26Z

10 dogs out of 10. Love the art style and the music! I also like how the theme wasn't too obviously placed in :) Haha just kidding, but it was fun.

Nice one!

LD42 — Running out of space

Package Overload by Pete 2018-08-25T01:10:38Z

I liked the game a lot, it really felt that I was running out of space. When I did, I eventually started tossing them outside the counter and then ran out of space there too. Picking up and dropping the boxes felt smooth and I had no issue with the controls.

From Hell by bog13 2018-08-25T00:45:31Z

Was a fun game with a lot of cheese. As others have mentioned, jumping controls feels a little wonky/floaty, fixed vertical velocity. Hard level took a few tries but was fun to attempt.

Detox by FiloGC 2018-08-14T20:19:36Z

Really liked the visuals and the shading. The physics felt clean and responsive.

Last Days on Mars by snails84 2018-08-14T23:09:23Z

A fun but challenging game. Didn't expect to play it multiple times, but it became addicting.

The game was fun and challenging! Game is self-explanatory and the mechanics were nice (and trippy). Visuals and audio were good too (really liked the art style).

Ludum Dare Simulator 2019 by samboyer276 2018-08-14T22:45:20Z

Each individual component is great and fun. Each minigame is self-explanatory and entertaining. I replayed this game multiple times after learning it. I think I encountered a bug for the Code minigame, where the robot got stuck and the Code game was just frozen for every iteration (LD43, LD44, etc) until I relaunched the game. I think it happened when the robot was moving and I was switching around games/breaking. All in all, a really solid piece of work.

Galaxy Adventure, An Adventure In Spaaaaaace! by Cody Foster 2018-08-25T00:54:13Z

The game was quite confusing. With tutorials/descriptions, it could've achieved a lot more. It fits the theme but when I played I didn't feel like I was running out of space so I felt that the theme wasn't a core influence of the game. The dialogue and situations were fun to read.

NEOVOID by NullCode 2018-08-26T02:10:04Z

The graphics and visual effects were really nice! The game fits the theme and was fun to play.

Due Process by scottyseus 2018-08-14T22:29:03Z

Very unique idea that requires the player to think.

My first Ludum dare - Astro Swing by michelle 2018-08-26T02:56:10Z

The swinging was difficult but once you got use to it, it's easy to launch yourself across the map. The swinging was kinda fun sometimes, especially when I get launched far distances. I hope you take this experience positively and join more LDs in the future!

Roomy's Party by Lexyvil 2018-08-26T02:27:38Z

I like the humor of the game a lot. It was self-explanatory but it wouldn't hurt to include a line of instruction. Overall the game was fun and funny.

LD46 — Keep it alive

Keep It Olive by abhimonk 2020-04-21T01:05:38Z

5/5 as expected. Great music work from the renowned musician at soundcloud.com/abhisundu.

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

TBFTWorLD41 by joemid 2018-05-02T01:49:43Z

Both the cutscene visuals and in-game visuals were really nice and atmospheric. The audio also helps set the mood of the environment. The controls/objectives could be a little bit more clear.

Jungle Rumble by masterkrepta 2018-05-02T02:29:12Z

I clicked this game for the gorilla and I was not disappointed. The two themes were straightforward and worked out better than expected. I really felt like a gorilla in the zoo fighting over my turf. The only downside I felt while playing was the time, maybe have it jump down to 2 or 3 seconds.

Jumper Cables by Elemental Zeal Game Studios 2018-05-02T01:32:53Z

All the bugs and whacky controls made it funny. The visuals were nice and clean looking.

Between Dimensions by lautregars 2018-05-02T02:16:20Z

Fun idea but doesn't really feel like a platformer to me. I'm able to spam double jumps and dashes through the level, not having to worry about falling. The different perspectives, which can influence your progression route, is nice.

Froggy Froschy by Likirus 2018-05-05T22:31:30Z

It's an addicting game idea but the clunkiness of the controls makes it difficult to play. The frog's jump does not follow the line indicator in many cases. If the controls were more accurate and polished, I feel like this game could be addicting.

BBall by carlosvVk 2018-05-05T22:23:19Z

Fun game that combined two genres nicely. Sometimes the hit boxes are a little weird (bouncing off white walls without making contact). If audio was added, it would just be that much better.

Soccer Fight by mic_matrix91 2018-05-06T15:23:46Z

The screen shake, as simple as it seems, adds quite a big effect to the kicks. The audio and visual were well done and fitting. The only thing that I would've like is the ability to kick the ball stronger :)

Witch's Escape by cristiano.m.garcia 2018-05-07T18:19:31Z

I played the web version (in-browser) and there was no sound (maybe error on my end?). The sprites and visuals were nicely done. The gameplay felt a little slow in the beginning; I feel like the in-between time could be shortened a little. I think a larger variety of obstacles/enemies could make this game last longer. Overall, great work!
