Justice for all!
Needs donkeys. Nuff said.
Nicely done. I like the isometric presentation and especially enjoyed seeing justice met on such a wonderful cast of characters!
Shrek is always GUILTY lol. The graphics are awesome, I could have never drawn anything that good, that fast, with the time we have.
Overall it's great. It's short sweet and fun.

Simple and fun. Good stuff.
Nice concept with the prisoner-pairing mechanic. Never was a fan of grimdark (says the guy who made a game about sharks with rocket launchers), but your concept is really clever. Was a nice treat to see some recognizable characters. Good job!
Very unique idea that requires the player to think.
This idea is so interesting! I love the premise (the lore is very well written and funny)! The interactions between prisoners is a little tough to grasp at first, but makes the game very fun! It fits the theme perfectly (I ran out of space pretty quickly). The art was charming, and just like another commenter mentioned I liked seeing some familiar characters in the cast. The idea of "we're running out of space, KILL this guy" is hilarious.
Great work!
The game is surprisingly deep and very unique. The gameplay is pretty accessible and the interactions between cellmates have silly backstories that I can appreciate. The recognizable characters was also a fun touch.
Overall, I'd recommend this for the silly concept
Okay that was a swampy experience, Loved how gruseome the sharpening wheel sounded, so, grimm. I liked the game, I only wished there was another layer of complexity or depth to it, like...
· Being able to alocate different number of prisioners based on its size,
· Or to actually know what they did (Maybe it doesn't make that much sense executing a dude that was due there for a couple months due to a missunderstanding with a Jar in the antique store, but yes the dude who raped and killed the king's nephiew's maid).
If it makes me wish for more, you did it well, so congratulations for that :yum:
@manusaiz thanks for the feedback! not that we had the time anyway, but we struggled a bit to come up with ideas for adding depth to the gameplay, so thanks for those suggestions!
We were going for a dystopian vibe with the Kingdom of Fecea, so having the executioner indiscriminately execute everyone was part of that. Backstories would be a good way to add humor though :D
nice idea. i could really use a cheat sheet during the game tho
Had fun with this one, the fact that you only need a mouse to control it makes everything feel much smoother and less tedious. Graphics and humor are also great! Overall, well done!
Interesting twist on the theme. I liked it
this one is awesome! I got really into it. I kinda didn't like how I needed to click on the ladders to switch floors, and would rather just happen automatically. Otherwise I got really into it....I might play this outside Ludum Dare O_O Totally following you and hope to see more games like this!
This game has an awesome premise and some great game design. While I was playing I kept thinking to myself, "Wow, this was a really cool idea for a game. I would've never thought of this." However, this is held back by the unresponsive controls. I often found myself clicking all around an area trying to move there or interact with something before it worked. You should have a larger area that you can click to be able to move to a position, or something that makes it easier for the player to move around. Also, you should add a way to automatically use ladders if I click on a different floor- that way I can move to a position on either floor with one click.
This was interesting, a prison game came up for us as well when examining the theme so I'm glad someone else did it.
The graphics were solid and did their job. You may want to consider opting out of sound for the extensive use of the Wilhelm Scream, if it were a one-and-done thing I wouldn't mind, but having it as a central sound effect might be a little too much.
I think if I were looking for ways to improve things, more ways of reminding players of the combinations would be helpful, it was difficult to keep all the permutations in my head. I also didn't quite understand what was happening, as all I'd hear was a scream and suddenly one of the cages may or may not be empty, or be missing one, and I never quite figured out exactly what was going on.
Good entry!
mwahahaha lets kill shrek :D
