This whole concept is really innovative. I like how you combined this real looking textures with simple 2D mechanics to create a unique experience. very creative The thing I loved most about this, is the underwater cave systems and the exploration of them, always wondering "do I have enough air to return to the surface?"
I also liked how you cant die, just loose the loot.
Outstanding game.
Overall a really fun game with cool gameplay mechanics Really fun to play and kind of innovative with these card mechanics Balancing in the beginning is good, in the end the search for enemies became a little boring It is a little frustrating that there is no weapon to shoot upwards. The graphics are solid. Sound: Music would be nice I loved the strategic feeling of the game
Loved it. Nicely polished, cool mechanics, solid gameplay, good music. I would like to see some more levels
I first tried to start the exe without extracting the archive, it actually startet but was really glitchy. After extracting it worked like a charm :D
I love the randomly generated levels and the consistent graphics style. Every aspect of this game is of pretty high quality and it all fits together smoothly. The sound effects play a big part in creating this underwater atmosphere and i especially liked the details, how the camera zooms out when you prepare for a faster movement
All in all one of the best entries ive seen so far. Approved.
Is it normal, that the first level is the most difficult one? I tried like forever to get under the block to throw it into the hole. But the second an third level were far to easy, I just moved some blocks and done. Maybe I did something wrong or broke the game
The game feels nice, the controls are very innovative and I would love to see more levels, especially difficult ones like the first one
This is one of my favorite games so far. The graphics and audio are really good and the game is absolutely addicting. I just spend more than an hour planning my city and starting over again because I found a better way to start off and so on. The fact that cutting pipes and destroying buildings is marked as "Very buggy dont use this" makes it even more interesting. You have to carefully plan your design so that you can modify it later without destroying stuff. I got to the strategy of building some splitter-lines that just put the remaining power forward to the next splitter. This way I can regulate everything without the need of the other buildings. Would be cool if the building were more expensive so there is more reason to use the other, cheaper buildings.
Overall a really cool captivating planning game with some remaining bugs (sometimes pipes appear that should not be there etc. but using the "very buggy" features resolves it most of the times somehow), great graphics and audio and beautiful mechanics. Going to play this some more hours later, maybe there is some sort of win condition?
Would be even cooler as a puzzle game with multiple levels. City is given and money is just enough to solve the task
Beautiful! One of the best and most underrated entries I played so far!
The graphics and animations are pretty good for a jam game, works very nicely together
With the music and the background details it really creates this feeling of a jungle temple
The level design is absolutely brilliant. Especially the last level got me really puzzled until I found out how to do it and even then it was quite difficult. Love that. More levels would have been nice, but I know gamejam time is a very limited resource.
Really good decision making to reduce the game to its essence, love that. Nothing seems out of place or like an unfinished feature. It seams like a very complete and compact puzzle box with instructions in place and everything.
I really hope you guys get yourself some time to play and rates more games, to get over the 20 rating thing. Would be a huge waste if this masterpiece didnt score at the end! We played like fifty games since the jam ended and it worked out (35 ratings by now).
Really amazing entry but seems to be too difficult. The graphics and music are outstanding. The intro alone is epic enough With the gameplay I had some problems. I tried like twenty times but never got even close to finish the game. Most of the time three urgend tasks appeared at the same time and I did not understand how it could be possible to finish all of them. Maybe I did not understand it but it felt more like the game was running too fast. I got really frustrated and stopped playing after ~twenty tries. The ghost shooting had a really nice feeling though and the tasks were quite innovative.
If the difficulty was a little lower with a better learning curve, the game would be one of my favorites. The art, the music and sounds, all fit together nicely and the dialogue with wife-dono is really funny and cool made. It also had this funny little edgy fanservice thing in the dialogue, but I am not sure how to feel about that but people might like it.
Overall really good job! If the difficulty is CPU-time related or something or I misunderstood the order of tasks I would be happy to try again and give a higher score!
This game is really an impressive entry. Best 3D ludum dare entry I have seen so far
I found one spot on the vulcano where it is really hard to leave the glitchy colliders. I managed but took some time
The game is quite difficult but managable with some time. I like that, just when you get frustrated you made it. The island look so CRAZY amazing. There is even a mushroom village on there and lots of detail. Solid mechanics, for jump and run with rare glitches. Cool to play. Takes some time, I spend like an hour playing this but it was worth it. The end was a little weird, I was not able to talk to the people although in the game the !-symbol meant that. Got no food in the end (story not pushed through? Or I am dumb and missed the end :v: ) Although it is the best 3D entry I played so far, it is far from as clean and polished feeling as many 2D entries are. But I miss that a lot with the 3D entries in general (its difficult to accomplish I know)
The animations were brilliant. The dancing pizza piece... Glorious The mood was also quite nice. Everything fits together in this absurd trippy way.
Music is spot on!
Overall a nice entry with brilliant a capella music and low effort like assets
Really fun to play, three levels of medium difficulty. Had fun with this
Good take on the theme
The graphics are really bad (not existing) compared to other games here but it adds to the humor in a funny way
Love the music. Self made a capella and voice sound effects always score solid.
Made me laugh from the music/sounds and the low effort graphics feeling
Could use some more levels and game mechanics
Good point with the levels selection/checkpoint, maybe we'll do a postjam patch with that soon
Thanks a lot, appreciate the feedback
