The game is fun, but difficult. I feel the world is a little bit dark so noticing the blocks on rails is quite difficult. Overall nice incorporation of the axe hook, great job.

It's incredibly fun, the sound effects are really nice, the clock adds suspense, and the fact that you made it online is pretty amazing. Overall great job, my only idea that could make it better in my opinion is that you have a subtle sort of spidey sense and can tell who might shoot at you, but in turn your aim is worse on that person, but that seems pretty far fetched at least for my skill level.
Graphics are nice, however I feel if there were some more interactive elements where the player really had control it would have been nicer as in my opinion these story games get boring pretty fast.
Nice animations. Slow game play. Interesting idea.
Amazing concept, found it really fun, however a little confusing at first but I soon understood. The graphics are amazing, sounds are nice and subtle, and the game runs very smoothly without any noticeable bugs to me.
Epic game, I honestly don't have anything to criticize.
The 2.5D aspect is really nice. The art and graphics are all great. The game play is good for the most part but I feel the stalling between an attack and being able to run again is a little bit too much. Also some music or background sounds like dripping would have made the mood so much better.
Amazing graphics, mechanics, audio, and overall feel. It was relaxing with the audio and just challenging enough to keep me engaged. Amazing job
Art, music, and play-ability are all fantastic. I just feel maybe if the player moved faster it would be nicer or if you added a sprint feature because at least in my opinion it feels kind of slow and sluggish.
At first it was pretty fun but it got really repetitive and slow. The newer guns didn't feel more powerful, I had an easier time using the pistol. The graphics are pretty nice.
The game is very calm and fun, keeps you thinking just enough to where you have to actually consider your movements but not too hard where you want to give up. I feel like the movement could be a little bit more instantaneous so that right after moving and picking a different excavator you can move instantly and not have to wait for that odd half or full second delay.
It was a fun game however it was very confusing so I had to restart a couple of times before I actually made any progress. Maybe if it were a little easier I would have liked it more but overall very nice.
Fun simple game, quite difficult and takes some time to figure out that the spikes actually do anything since you pass right through them. Nice graphics, would have been nice if there was just a restart button instead of having to go back to the main menu.
Sorry it should be fixed now. :( my apologies @jan5366x
@nun-chuck, I did attempt to make it playable in browser however it just wouldn't work for some reason :/.
@milano23 I was aware of the shaking glitch but sadly couldn't find a way to solve it as I am a rather newbie developer. Thanks for the amazing feedback. I was unaware of the blurriness on level 3, and I will be sure to include some form of guidance next time!
(I have fixed the level 3 shake and posted it as a new file on the itch page, also added some instructions in the desc THX A LOT FOR THE TIPS)
@random-thoughts woah what? there isn't a restart button??? I must've accidentally deleted it in the last build because I remember having one. Sorry about that, I'll make sure to triple check everything before building next time.
A new version has been uploaded with a restart button!
@extar I agree with your statement of sound effects, however you hit the nail on head, I did not have enough time :/. I also didn't think it would be too difficult to figure out the first level but now I do!
@strailks Could you recommend any button assets? I have never thought about that, thanks for the idea!
@fenno-boomgaarden I didn't expect it to be that hard, you could have pressed escape to bring a pause menu from which you could restart however I see this as my issue for not including that in the itch io page. On the first level your just supposed to time it until it's over the box. Thanks for the advice though, I'll remember to include more instructions next time!
@tomtomgome thx for the advice! will do next time!
@psiv I've never played portal but I wish I could, I'm sure it would help in studying this genre! My parents don't buy me games often so that's about why. I will try out your idea of having the fish moving to the mouse and then stopping the loop! Thanks for all the feedback it has really been helpful! I'm in love with this jam idea, it's fun to make a game and then get told how to make it better!
@psiv I'm struggling with the mouse fix :/ do u have any tips or smth specific I should be searching for?
(EDIT) Nevermind I figured it out! :D, discovered the mouseover/mouseexit functions in unity which did the trick!
@fearawl I will try my best to add more levels and audio next time I just didn't have enough time to do it this time. :D
Very cute and nice art style, the simplicity keeps it easy to understand and play! Amazing job!
