Cute and funny game, with nice pixel art! Wish there was a big overhead map or something, as I felt the police cars could come out of nowhere and I could get lost easily. Very fun to play!

Ha, those tram tracks sure are just suggestions. I really liked this, its funny and looks great. It took me a minute to notice the perspective shift on the buildings and it's a great effect. Grand Theft Tram.
Haha what a wild ride. I wasn't sure at first but the moment I caught a train I literally laughed out loud. My biggest critic is I want the train to be longer! Maybe some player/car interactions (just collision) and fun little bouncy walk cycle since you spend a decent amount of time running around. Great idea here though!
This game was really fun!
Who would've thought a tram drifting around a block could be so fun! I'm a fan of the isometric trams.
This was awesome!! Graphics are so nice, buildings are so pretty, and I'm curious how you did the depth, are they actually 3D, or is it just 2D sprites? Doing donuts in the tram was so satisfying, game feel was amazing, and I loved the way it hyped up the music when you're in the tram!
The tram movement is very satisfying and I enjoy running through the civilians! Great concept too, only critique would be the downtime on the way to each tram, though the music was good enough to where it isn't boring.
Thanks for all the comments!
@gemcc it's 2D sprites with some parallaxing of the rooftops and y-scaling of the building fronts :)
It reminded me of the early GTA games. Really great, really fun. Good game!
Crazy Grand Theft Tram game - I love it! It’d be great to have more intercollidable objects, like cars and the main character, to make the more chaos😈!!!
Brilliant!
Great Game, I Love The Graphics And Concept!
Wildly fun! Quite a few bugs, but the energy makes up for it - controlling the tram feels amazing!
hahaha what a silly premise!
The steering of the tram felt nice and the police really had that chaotic GTA2 behavior. The 2.5D buildings looked really nice. Great choice leaving the tram skid marks and pools of blood through out the game.
If you continue working on it I would like to see the map become even more in a state of mayhem. I think dead cars should leave wreck sprites, and if possible it would be great to have actually colliding with the tram choking pathways.
Just some spitballing you could have: * increasing chaos in ambience audio: screams, cars breaking, fires crackling, car alarms beeping * you could put decals of cracks in the walls you hit (or swap the texture) * smoke and fire * cobblestones flying around the trams
But you did great with the time we had. Loved it!
Quite satisfying to blast around the city with the tram, pedestrians and police beware! Great work on the game!
Reminiscent of GTA 1-2. The parallax effect is a wow, I thought it was completely flat on the first glance, it isn't. Then after driving two trams out of the rails, just on a regular road, I stalked a person next to a garage to see where is it going to go and they walked to a city pond to see beautiful ducks in the water, then they go away to their business. Just right on the next street I saw a car accident, and a car that was waiting for a tow truck. I came closer to ask if I can help them, but they were silent and I just walked over the cars (they were totaled anyway) You made a good traffic simulation, cars seem to obey the basic rules and give way each other Thanks for the game :)
That was awesome! I definitely got some serious GTA vibes (And nostalgia). The sounds were awesome! I love the playful super-destructive collisions. Feels great to smash through police cars.
I wish there was some more epic music. That's probably the number 1 thing that would have pushed this over the top.
Awesome jam game!
cute art style and concept!! pretty fun game, nice work!
Well that was really satisfying! I was surprised you were able to get the people and cars to mostly navigate around normally. At one point I had a police car stuck to the end of my tram that made it really slow to move, but I eventually shook it off. It'd be really fun if you get trams with more than two cars. Overall, really nice job!
Very fun experience!.
Being a big fan of OG GTA series I got quite a funny ride with these trams! Also quite adore the music theme changes when you are under chaise  A little bit of polishing wouldn't hurt, but it's always like that with jam games, nicely done!
Tram movement felt really tight and I loved the chaos the unfolds - also the dynamic music is a really nice touch! Found that there didn't seem to be much challenge, the police just kind of exploded, but I had a great time :D
The drawings are so cute. I enjoyed playing with it too.
It was at least a little bit of fun. :sunglasses:
Funny chaotic games, like to crush cars and people.
Love the GTA inspired visuals and fun, silly gameplay! It's a ridiculous idea in a good way!
Sorry I'm late to playing your project, today was the first day I could get back on the computer, but I'm here now so let's go!
I mean, wow, this is a ton of work in such a short time. Just a lot of little details that really showed how much effort went into this. Almost feels like you could (or maybe will?) turn it into a full blown simulation project. Great work!
It's a fun game, it's fast, and the tram controls are very enjoyable. I liked how cars explode. It's just a pity that the police are not able to interfere, and I probably expected that cops should not be brought to our depot.
Excellent! I really liked it. Took me back to when I was playing GTA 1 as a child! Good Job!
Nice idea. Last one took me three attempts, but in the end I managed to get it in. Good work.
@sergs-workshop Yeah we wanted to have more things collide with each other, but the underlying physics engine had a tendency to go completely mayhem and produce buggy results, so we had to limit it to the few collisions we now have :/ but totally agree it would feel more immersive if more things interacted with each other.
@bjornstenlund oh 100% we wanted to add the wreck sprites etc., and a lot of your ideas were on our idea board - all just a question of time =) Thank you so much for your extensive feedback, we really appreciate it.
@xahon loved that you had this kind of experience in the city, glad our work on the AI etc. paid off and made it feel alive for you <3
And in general I wanted to thank you all for the amazing feedback and lovely comments. I really love that people are having fun with the driving physics we've spent a lot of time tweaking, and getting the GTA 1-2 vibes from the style =)

The gameplay and music sound effects remind me of early games and the early GTA series, but it's only about robbing tramcars. The feeling of going on a rampage after robbing a tram is quite exhilarating. (There’s also a small chance of triggering William’s scream sound effect when hitting pedestrians, which is quite amusing.)
Additionally, I seem to have found an issue in the game: when the player is in pedestrian mode and walks near buildings, the movement speed seems to decrease. I'm not sure if this issue occurs when driving a tram.
Awesome game! I collected all 4 trams! I loved how the police cars pop when I rammed into them on a tram! Also, the town feels alive with so many things going on.
It's a bit weird that while you can run over people, the player character cannot be run over. It breaks immersion but I guess I won't complain. 😁 Also, I was a little disappointed that tram can go anywhere, not just on rails, tram behaves just like a car or truck. I think being limited to rails would be an interesting way to stand out from other GTA-like games.
Also, sometimes, it's a bit unclear if a thing is an obstacle (building) or just a decoration. Maybe you could have added an outline to obstacles or better mark them visually otherwise.
Great game! I enjoyed the pixel art a lot. The game was lagging a bit for me, but it might have been my internet connection. Otherwise it might be a nice addition to be able to enter and use car and be able to move around faster, but I guess the police would still have to chase the player, which might end up being messy.
I am a pure villain in the game, a super train controller, causing traffic jams, destruction, and chaos, aha!!
The visual changes when entering the back of the house are unique and amazing, it's excellent! However, the collision box makes the movement of each train a bit strange, and at first, I was puzzled why pressing the A and D keys didn't move it forward (actually, it's controlled by the W and S keys).
Thank you for providing it!
Very fast-paced game. Cool graphics, music, explosions, and controls. But it wasn't entirely clear how to drive the tram into the base or from which side.
Lots of fun, completed the game. Old school GTA chaos! The late game traffic jams made it more challenging, nice work.
This was fun!
As others have said, the concept is great, and driving the trams while derailed is fun. I like the 3d effect on the buildings, but I do feel like it would have felt a little more natural if other objects did it too, or if you could see the sides of the cars like you can with the trains. Also, it's a small detail, but I liked that the music gets more energetic when you're driving a tram.
Oh that was great! Driving trains is super satisfying, well done! Just pure chaos, and I love it :D

Art and music are cool too. The only feedback I have, I do not know if police was actually doing anything or not, so some in-game feedback to player on that would be good.
