10/10 would dream again!
I would like to congratulate the team. The game is very well done, with beautiful graphics, very good and addictive mechanics. And I would like to highlight the sound design of the game. I am a beginner sound designer, and I can say that the music is incredible, it matches the game a lot, and captivates the player to keep playing. Very good guys, go on.
Well made and polished. Love the art/music/sound. I don't think I used the wasd keys at all, but grappling around felt great. Could definitely be expanded upon! Keep up the good work!
Gameplay is fantastic! Sometimes its too hard to avoid lasers but still really cool, gj!
A very polished and original entry, it feels very nice to play and those feedbacks hmmm nice!
I love the cute artstyle and the controls are great!
I liked it, the controls were good and the mechanics worked well!
Excellent game! Feels very nice to play, challenging enough, makes me hungry. Really it's well executed.
The audio and graphics on this one are top notch. Good job!
I'm not sure if I missed something in the instructions, but I found myself spamming right click to collect all the cookie bits and some clicks didn't register. Maybe an option to hold down the button could be a bit better and more responsive.
Excellent game! One of the best I've played so far! It's simple: every aspect of the game is good! Good job!
Hello, wonderfull music and gprahics, really loved it. I somehow completly missed how to pickup cookies though, I just used left mouse button and punched my way through
@hardscore -- It's actually the speed of the spoon preventing that! It has travel time... so sometimes it's not fast enough. Any faster it would be hard to see at all.
I don't think we're able to add to holding the down button though... it's an entirely new mechanic we have to implement.
Very fun and innovative gameplay! I love the vibe of the game, the music, the sound effects, the graphics, they all fit so well together. Well done! Sometimes it's a bit hard to avoid the lasers but I think it's because I didn't think too much before ramming the walls haha.
There's just a small bug that I found where Pal gets stuck on the edge of the level and I can't move or do anything. I didn't have any power left but I thought you could still destroy walls without it.

@stevi60 -- You are definitely correct about being too careless on later depths! ~~We're actually aware of that bug and are thinking of ways to solve that.~~ We fixed it!
Really fun and satisfying mechanic. Art is cute and the music is giving me mad Tim Follin vibes, is there a soundcloud or something?
Perfect.
Ridiculously cute art! The gameplay is very fun, and I love the retro vibe. I could play this for hours.
Such a neat game! Graphics and sound are amazing and the gameplay is really fun/
@silkworm-sweatshop --- Our musician [**Deffy definitely has a soundcloud**](https://soundcloud.com/8bitdeathro), if you want to check that out!
Really cool game! I really liked the main mechanic and how it fused a dynamic movement element with what felt like a puzzle game.
Great entry, it's super fun and the graphics and music are all amazing ! I think the link to the source code doesn't work though...
OHHHH this is fantastic! Really really enjoyed this one. The art is great! I like the screen shake and the overall impact of the charge when you hit the ground. This was like a really cool Kirby minigame! It hit the theme with 100% accuracy. Love this, had lots of fun, great job!
@TaliOS -- Sorry! It seems our programmer forgot to make the repo public. Should be public now!
Awesome game! Loved the graphics and overall idea :D
Very cute jam, great job guys. Koved the art and music as well :)
Oh wow, what a polished well made game, it looks feels and plays amazingly, loved the design of everything, one of the games i played this jam where i simply don't have anything to add but "incredible", very well done!
Very intuitive and addicting gameplay! the art is amazing and the game is very polished! I really enjoyed it!
A cute and chill game was just what I needed right now!
First of all, I have to point out that the instructions screens are really well made. It's rare to see those kind of guides in jam games, and it's really nice that you put the effort to explain the mechanics step by step, contextualize them with story and illustrations, and present them in a pleasant way. A remarkable job!
And the game itself is really nice to play! The mechanic is fun, there's a lot of feedback making every action satisfying, and it has a really wonderful atmosphere thanks to its visual and audio design. Maybe the difficulty balance is a bit weird, it stayed easy a really long time, but then came a moment when I seemed to lose control of the situation. The hard mode is true to its name though! But I think the physics of the game, as playful as it is, also makes it hard to dodge with precision, so I mostly relied on luck. But that's fine too, the game was never frustrating even when I lost! It offered a really enjoyable time!
I appreciate in particular how you made a small scope so polished that it can be looped through the whole game without the game immediately feeling repetitive. A very good example of keeping the ambition under control and perfecting what is possible. Ofc graphics and sound are cute as well. The smoothness of the whole thing works well, and making it all more dynamic by character being in constant state of jumping is a good choice. Very nice entry!
@itooh -- Thank you for your comment!
It's honestly surprising to hear about the instructions, since all of that was done in a span of an hour three hours before submission time! I guess my studies on conveying information helped! I'm really glad to hear about this~
We did have trouble about balancing the game and how it ramps up. Since the game has 18 layers of difficulty, (hard mode of course, being MAX all the time...) it's actually really hard to get time to test all of it and most of it was guessing. Also making it harder, we used an object pool with different spawn rates per level so we can't really test in such a short amount of time unless we somehow get lucky with extensive testing.
I think it does ease you in to being a lot more careful over time and not getting too reckless when digging down. In fact, Pal was a LOT more bouncier than this early on! The decision to half the horizontal speed when bouncing helped a lot in the experience of this game. We may adjust it soon to be a bit more controllable.
In fact, [someone did go all the way to 2000m like this](https://twitter.com/Xcyiterr/status/1387049766899515397), and it's pretty interesting!
Pretty fun! I got to 302 m. Pal was very bouncy, but I noticed there's sort of timing with the hover that I wasn't able to get all the time. I kind of wanted the cookie pieces to last a bit longer, maybe if they dissolved instead or something for balance reasons. great job!
The game is fun, really appreciate the concept and the gameplay loop! The player character is pretty cute, and visualy the game works well overall! Had difficulty to take a grasp on the maniability at first with all the bumps but after a little while it was fine. I felt that the game was pretty generous when it comes to restauring life, giving opportunity to often accept to tank damages without thinking about it much (it's not something I especially disliked tho). Trully a great entry to the jam, good job to your team :)
I loved this! It feels really good, and the art and music are great. Congrats!
Just as a small feedback, I think sometimes the camera should show a bit more of the upcoming terrain (I shoot blindly a few times hah).
Very polished looking game! The graphics are very cute and the color scheme is nice. The audio also works well with the game.
While the bounce mechanic is very fun, the WASD controls felt very floaty. Like using them seemed like a waste for anything other than collecting items. The collecting item thing also felt like it wasn't always picking up things.
Is the game not suppose to proceed until a certain percentage of the bottom is cleared? In some situations it felt impossible to avoid the laser as the screen wouldn't continue down despite there being 1/3rd of the blocks cleared at the very bottom.
Other than those couple of issues, the game is well rounded. Great job!
Great game . congrat. I really prefered bouncing into cookie bit than using the grab key :D
Excellent music in this. It matches well with nice art you have in there. Overall I think I like the feedback in the main mechanic the most, the little flash with screenshake and particles is done really nicely and just as well as you're going to be doing that a lot. Nice small scope and polish very well done
Fun little arcade game, it feels very polished. That is some quality work here, you probably spent quite some time to balance the difficulty. I really liked the way cookies explode in spinning pieces.
Definitely a fun idea. I had some trouble with the controls though. Quite a bit of air control for my taste. Still I did enjoy myself quite a bit. Well done!

@lee-reilly I finally managed to fix the problem with me unable to reply or comment for a good while! (it was the Grammarly extension..)
But thank you very much for the feature, me and the team are actually honored, excited and grateful to have the game be featured!! It was really cool for us to have this news at the time!
