Very weird! I like it.

estuvomuybien 2019-04-30 04:37

I liked the creepy undertone of the whole game. Interesting story for sure. Keeps you guessing at what the thing even is and why it's so inclined to give its appendages and organs away. Is this a greater metaphor for the consequences of human cloning!?!

josia-roncancio 2019-04-30 15:14

Ooof, this made feel uneasy/sad in all the best ways... Great mood. Horrible people. Thanks for making this; keep it up!

jofersgames 2019-04-30 15:15

good MOOD :D

2019-04-30 16:20

Really sets a mood! Love it.

nota 2019-04-30 17:09

I liked the wacky characters, and I think each response to being given something was creepy and unexpected. Nice job!

selewi 2019-04-30 17:16

This game was both sad and funny at the same time, I think it has some sort of message behind it... The art was obviously made by a talented programmer as well as the audio I guess... Good job on your entry !

camcam 2019-04-30 17:20

Cool !

kyavi 2019-04-30 19:28

a day in the life of edmund mcmillen's blue baby ^-^ very interesting!

los 2019-05-01 14:22

so weird and wonderful! well done!

boxedmeatrevolution 2019-05-01 14:27

Even though they were simple, I liked the graphics quite a bit. They fit perfectly with the type of story that was being told, and complemented the mood. Short experience, but I enjoyed it.

curled-leaf 2019-05-01 15:33

I gave Everything what is wrong with them? :D Very good job!

xankill3r 2019-05-01 16:28

Very interesting game! I really liked how you twisted the motives of each NPC - very well writte

jestemstefan 2019-05-01 19:40

This WAS CREEPY as hell!

I like it!

pixscope 2019-05-01 22:02

I love it !

nico-fallosch 2019-05-01 23:13

poor little creature :( This game makes one think about others and how to treat them really nicley done!

masterproject 2019-05-02 01:58

Incredible! Really interesting game. Fit the theme like a glove.

silkworm-sweatshop 2019-05-02 15:56

Haha, that was really interesting, not what I expected. I felt myself losing faith in humanity with every interaction. I like the Sierra style graphics and the happy go lucky music in contrast to the dark narrative.

szabe 2019-05-02 18:16

Finally an interesting take on the theme! The graphics weren't my cup of tea, but the story was quite great! Good job!

mamoniem 2019-05-02 18:31

That art!

jonas-tyroller 2019-05-02 19:51

Enjoyed the story telling in this game and doesn't overstay its welcome. Pretty fun to play through actually. :)

yaen 2019-05-02 19:54

Wow, that was quite something! I'm not quite sure if I can agree with the message that I took away from this. At least, from my personal experience, helping people has so far been a very positive thing in my life. That's not to say that other experiences are invalid of course! Very interesting take on the theme for sure. Makes you think...

retti01 2019-05-02 20:17

Sad, really sad, but in the good way. I like it.

ryusui 2019-05-03 01:13

I loved it, front to back. Even the art was pretty solid for someone who claims they're "not an artist."

Only two things: one, I think the game could've benefited from some sound effects (to make the "giving" sequences more disturbing and visceral), and two, multiple endings would've been neat. Like, what happens when our poor little homunculus decides he's had enough of "giving"?

twan-mul 2019-05-03 17:06

what a sad story, everyone was so selfish... :( it's quite an achievement you made something nice and emotional with the limited resources you had. great job!

dis0rder 2019-05-03 19:42

This was a really inspiring experience!

Leaves you yearning for more.

gamechoy 2019-05-03 21:26

Very cool entry, I love to play/make games like this! Made me think back to a lot of old GameMaker games from the early 2000's, I don't know if you drew inspiration from those games but it certainly seems like it. I loved the graphics that you had, I'm very fond of hand-drawn crude graphics like this. My only suggestions would be to take off the GameMaker water mark at the start (it's under global game settings in the windows tab) and maybe cut the music or have more ominous tracks when the player is losing body parts. Overall nice work though, I hope you make more stuff like this in the future!

beastiebeastie 2019-05-04 18:03

A beautiful, sad, sweet and simple game. Loved the retro graphics and the dialogue. I found it an oddly moving and emotional game!

kostasvs 2019-05-04 20:25

Wow, didn't expect to actually like it so much :O good job!

popdaddygames 2019-05-07 00:56

This has got a great mood- you should definitely add some info to the page so more people express an interest in playing it! :)

lubaka 2019-05-07 18:36

That was a pretty cool little story! Really liked it, well done!

ildfuglen 2019-05-12 13:48

What did I just play.. D: Well done on this, it tells a very bizarre story, but I enjoyed it. Not much too game mechanics, but overall an enjoyable experience :)

simanis 2019-05-16 10:13

nice and dark little story. Very good job for your first game :)

tigermouse 2019-05-18 18:25

Short and sweet but really fun - love it!

rob-white 2019-05-19 15:10

Probably my favourite entry so far to be honest. It oozes charm and has a subtle, yet impactful story. Great job!

jam373 2019-05-21 18:55

Okay well even though I told myself I'd shut up and let the game speak for itself, really need to say thank you to everyone who played, especially those who left such lovely encouraging comments. You've all made this a dreamy first game jam for me, and I'm looking forward to making more <3
