Interesting game! The graphics were great and the idea was good - although I would have loved to see a chance to fail somehow! It was also fun to chat with the villagers (despite me not coming up with anything else to ask than "How are you doing?")

A nice concept, but pretty easy to beat. I would like to see some form of challenge. The gameplay right now involves: __"What do I need?" \*click thing I need\*__ The adventure button is a good opportunity to present some surprising results on the player. _"We killed some orcs and stole 10 wood, but they followed us home and broke our walls."_

The graphics are basic but work well enough. A shame there's no sound.

Great concept, but easy. Basically, a game that you have to wait... and wait... and wait... I don't understand the chat. Maybe you should add some stories after each adventures, or add an enemy to disturb you. And create some relation between what I'm doing in the game... For example, why should I build walls? This will help me?

More one time, great concept, but you need to rethink about the mechanics..

hmm, well a game about waiting. Highlights why games with resource mechanics always tend to have some sort of threat mechanic also. Sorry to sound harsh, but at the moment it feels a bit like some kind of psychological test to see what the minimum amount of reward needed to keep a player waiting is. Not much it seems because I played till the end.

The graphics are nicely done, The idea that the villagers naturally wander off and need to be found was kind of funny. I liked the idea of being able to chat with the villagers but i could only get them to respond to "Hi, How are you". Also when i tried fullscreen the text didn't line up with the UI anymore.

I think the concept of this game fit the theme well. I also like that this was a complete experience. I'm not sure the chat does anything in this version but it would have been very cool to receive different types responses from the villagers :speaking_head: :busts_in_silhouette::busts_in_silhouette:

On the technical side: Everything works fine. Nice graphics as well. There was no Sound for me (maybe you turn off the Audio rating!?)

The game was really easy to play and easy to finish. Something is needed to the end to motivate the player to continue. All I have to do at the end was finding more villagers for maybe 15 times. Thats kind of boring. Overall I like the idea.

I like the concept of a clicker game where you build up a colony, was missing some kind of threat or challenge built in. The art was great, would have been awesome to see a animation of a villager going out in the forest or something when you were cutting wood for example, oh and I could not figure out if talking to my villagers did anything?

coderdozer 2017-05-02 18:45

I like the art and UI layout. Like others said it could do with more of a challenge i.e camp getting raided / damaged, weather ect.

Nice work!

I think that the idea is cool. I would like to see more feedback when you complete a task or when you start a task, try to clearly show the player that what he or she did had a direct effect in the game. In my opinion with small changes onthe feedback side, the experience would improve very much. I also think it's very good you decided to make a web version of the game, so more people will play it and give you comments and ideas. Good job!

Interesting start! The lack of audio and lack of options make it really simplistic, and there isn't really a challenge, but I like where it is going! I love building games.

> click on the rock and tree to help your villagers gather resources

Should have read the description *before* playing. Was always low on villagers, and wasn't sure if building up the city did something (other than progress). But finished it, so that's a good thing, I like these kind of games.

mar3k 2017-05-03 10:23

I like the game, I finished it and quite enjoyed it. But it felt a bit empty

**What I liked:** - The art - That I could help the villagers with mining - The whole feel of the game (building a village) - Possibility to chat with villagers

**What could be better:** - More resources - Make villagers more useful - I felt like there was no need for having more than 6 villagers - The ending was a bit plain

Overall nice entry, simple but fun, really reminds me of games like Ikariam/Travian

sir-magic 2017-05-03 19:41

It was an okay game but I felt like for most of it I was waiting for the tasks to end and felt like it was more of a chore rather than out of pure enjoyment.

I did however like the art style and the beginning of an idea to be able to chat with villagers.

pix3m 2017-05-03 19:47

Not very engaging to be honest. The biggest weakness is probably the lack of sound effects to make the use of the UI considerably more engaging. Sound can really help make it more exciting when you get a nice package of wood from adventuring. Otherwise, it's about as exciting as watching a number get bigger

erkberg 2017-05-03 20:44

A solid foundation for an incremental game, but it needs more mechanics to really be fun. In the current state, one can just click on adventure endlessly until enough ressources are gathered and win the game. Incremental games draw their fascination from surprises (and exponential growth, but let's leave that aside for now :) ) and those don't exist in this game yet. The buildings could have some unexpected effect for example. The graphics are quite nice though and with more gameplay elements I could see this becoming a good game, keep it up!

phlip45 2017-05-04 04:02

I'll have to agree with the other comments here. Seems like it was supposed to be a sort of clicker game (with time gates and what not) but without sound or animations it didn't really grab my attention. The art on the UI was well done, but I think if I were to make one change to make it fun I would switch the timer between find more villagers and adventure, and make adventuring have risk or extra reward. You could also just have villagers gradually increase (because babies) and then use those buttons to have some other kind of effect.

pcmaster 2017-05-04 11:41

I won :D

I felt like there was a little too much waiting I had to do in order to complete the game, especially for the last step. The time in between each action also felt pretty long. It felt like a bare-bones mobile sort of game, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but isn't really my cup of tea. I would have liked some ambient sound or any sound at all, may have helped. I also liked the chat addition to help fill in the time waiting for things, although I only found 1 phrase (I don't even remember what it was). It would be nice if you gave a list of chat messages that worked in your description if you want people to get your full set of features.
