| Oct 20 08:37:05 | WALKING FRONT | ♥ 1 | First of all, this game really needs a downloadable version. The browser version suffers from severe performance issues. I was forced to play at around 10 FPS. On the plus side: the graphics are excellent, and the walker models are absolutely stunning. The atmosphere is magnificent, and the sound design complements it perfectly. On the downside: it's not very clear what to do, where to go, or who to shoot. There isn't even a brief, safe moment to get used to the controls (which aren't exactly the most intuitive). The game would greatly benefit from a short tutorial. Especially since it genuinely looks amazing, I'd love to see an expanded version in the future | |
| Oct 20 09:12:29 | 35m 24s | Bugs From Home | ♥ 1 | It's been a while since I used assembler in real life. Interesting game, although it lacks content, and the tasks are mostly the same with the wrong memory cell chosen or something. I made it to the first rent payment, but at some point the C button got stuck pressed, so I worked blindely without testing. I even thought it was some kind of mechanic, but apparently just a bug. Great idea and atmospheric game. It could be expanded and made into a step by step tutorial for beginner programmers, bringing in more and more complex devices for repair. |
| Oct 20 09:53:25 | 40m 56s | Fatal Island | ♥ 2 | Awesome job for 72 hours! A full game with interesting puzzles. "The water never ended." Unfortunately the game ended. I really liked the narrative - it's so well written - and the overall atmosphere. The music and its change in the finale. The robot models are just insane. I had a ton of fun playing it. Great result! |
| Oct 20 10:18:39 | 25m 14s | Fire Tower Utah | ♥ 1 | Beautiful graphics and good atmosphere. Good job! I like the concept of a simulator of simple actions complicated by awkward equipment. When I had to change the fuse and had to go up and down this incredibly high tower, I was scared that I would have to repeat this many times. But it seems it was fine. It turned into a simulator of a slowly approaching apocalypse, where you with shaking hands try to tune the right frequency of the transmitter, and it keeps jumping over the right value. |
| Oct 20 10:55:23 | 36m 44s | Radio Host | ♥ 1 | Great job! The game plot really interested me. The environment in the game looks a bit chaotic, but it does not interfere with the narrative part. I was intrigued until the very end. Wonderful game! |
| Oct 20 12:46:12 | 1h 50m | Ancient Core | ♥ 1 | Small cool game. I liked wandering between hunter drones, and the scepter effect is very pleasant, especially when fully upgraded. Lacks various kinds of animations and FX, but overall great job for the Jam! |
| Oct 20 13:03:28 | 17m 16s | Forgotten Device | ♥ 1 | Interesting idea. Agree with the comment above, the atmosphere does not quite match the gameplay, and the switchable cameras are too chaotic when you are on the trigger border. Also, platforming on monitors is too hardcore, or maybe I just did not understand how to move properly. But overall great game for Compo, especially from a graphics point of view. Congrats! |
| Oct 20 13:40:29 | 37m 01s | Caption Obvious | ♥ 1 | Another case closed! Probably the first game in all jams where I was grinning from ear to ear. Awesome dialogues. Only thing, it would be cool to change the pitch of the main character voice, the lines sometimes blend together and you don't immediately understand who is speaking. Wonderful game, and the amount of work (especially voice recording) is impressive. |
| Oct 20 13:49:23 | 8m 54s | Allu-Metz | ♥ 1 | The game is an age test. Very unexpected controls. Beautiful graphics, and I would like a bit more time to look at the rooms and guests. Calls are too frequent, and too little time to answer. The game idea is not bad, can think about how to expand the mechanics. Great job! |
| Oct 21 08:29:57 | 18h 40m | Booji | ♥ 1 | I envy your ability to create a cozy atmosphere. Great game! Camera needs some work, that's clear. But visual style, voice acting, gameplay are top notch! It was fun looking for the last spider and listening to the little people dialogues. |
| Oct 21 09:07:09 | 37m 12s | Scrap Tinkerer | ♥ 0 | Oomph. Too addictive genre! I did not plan to spend so much time in a jam game. In my opinion the progression should have been made much faster, so that an average player could reach the end without spending an hour of real time. The game obviously lacks some polishing from UI, sounds and effects point of view. But even now it plays well and pleasantly. Great job! |
| Oct 21 09:14:41 | 7m 32s | TGISSTOGWLT (This Game Is Somewhat Similar To Other Games With Long Titles) | ♥ 1 | Wow! The most pleasant and responsive Anti-Air battery controls I have ever seen in my life! In my opinion it is too hard right from the start, would be good to start with a small number of targets. But that's just me, hardcore game lovers will appreciate it! Graphics, sound, effects are all top notch! Congrats on the cool game! |
| Oct 21 09:52:32 | 37m 51s | PIONEER 60 | ♥ 1 | Beautiful game. I played it to the end and the final takeoff is very satisfying. To my taste there is a bit too much text, plus the text is a bit confusing (in a couple of places I could not understand what is meant), maybe translation problems. Retro UI is great, sounds, effects are beautiful and create the right atmosphere. Great job for the Jam! Congrats! |
| Oct 21 09:58:33 | 6m 01s | ASPHYXIA | ♥ 1 | Extremely stressful game. It is great - graphics, sound, everything is top notch. But only a minute to figure out the controls and solve the puzzles is too harsh. I understand the point of such a timer, but it feels like I want a version with more time. I managed to solve a couple of puzzles, but didn't make it to the end. Overall, great job, congrats! |
| Oct 22 10:31:04 | 24h 32m | Feelm | ♥ 2 | Very cool narrative idea, video cassettes you can travel through. The atmosphere is great, and the killer is scary. I really liked that you initially revealed the killer in a safe environment behind a door and a grate, like uncle Gabe tought us to do. Though it did not help when he suddenly attacked me (I ragequit). It is bad that you have to restart and go through the mazes again. I did not really like the mazes, they are too big and monotonous. I think you could achieve the same effect by removing some of the passages. Seems like there are no stealth mechanics here, how to get rid of the killer? |
| Oct 22 10:45:18 | 14m 14s | Punchcard Robot | ♥ 1 | Great game! Very cool graphics and sound. The idea itself is not new, but in the punchcard format it looks very fresh. There are two points I want to nitpick. The Discard button is located where the Ok button is supposed to be. And this is very frustrating. А couple of times I pressed it automatically. Second, I would like a hint about how the robot carries the load, I thought it carries it in front, but it carries it in the back - and it led to a gig boom. Otherwise great job. Congrats! |
| Oct 22 10:50:06 | 4m 48s | Apartment 28 | ♥ 2 | Rrrr! The game is too interesting! I sat down to play for a couple of minutes before leaving the house. Had to turn it off and replay from the start when I back home. Very cool graphics and sound. I did not think before that you could get such a thick horror atmosphere in a Point and click game. From nitpicks maybe just very awkward controls, especially when the camera changes. Otherwise great game! Congrats! |
| Oct 22 11:01:43 | 11m 37s | PAST SHOULD NOT EXIST | ♥ 0 | Haha, great premise! We need to do something about police lawlessness, they break into locked doors and take away phones! Funny game, seems like regular fixing mechanics but with an unexpected twist of hiding evidence. I liked it. |
| Oct 22 11:18:36 | 16m 53s | Old Tech Village | ♥ 0 | Nice game and very cool models made of primitives! I think the first night should be a bit easier, right now too many enemies go at the player who does not understand anything yet. But the fact that you managed to implement progression and upgrades during the Compo is impressive. Great job! |
| Oct 22 15:10:09 | 3h 51m | da Vinci's WAR MACHINE | ♥ 1 | Da Vinci Survivors! Cool idea with perimeter guns plus a bunch of upgrades! The giant is defeated and I am happy. The only thing to nitpick is that sometimes the bow starts shaking when aiming, but this is more than acceptable for a Compo game. Amazing work, congrats!! |
| Oct 22 18:48:59 | 3h 38m | Payphone | ♥ 1 | The quest is not hard, but it took a bit of thinking and looking around to get out the booth. Overall the idea of such a quest in a limited space is very cool. Graphics, atmosphere, especially sound, everything works great. It would be even cooler to have a rotary dial, but you can't have everything at once. Great job, congrats! |
| Oct 23 10:01:36 | 15h 12m | Moth in the Machine | ♥ 1 | This is an incredible game. Hard to believe that such a thing can be created in 72 hours. Full plot, cutscenes, sound, not to mention models and so on. The hardest thing for games of this genre is to convince the player that this boring repetitive work is really important. And you managed to do it. The overall atmosphere, the worry for loved ones, the understanding that people's lives depend on how fast you catch a moth... Amazing game! Congrats! |
| Oct 23 10:15:43 | 14m 07s | Chort Harvest | ♥ 0 | What a find! Thank you! I had a great time. It was fun slicing and burning all the pozorny chorts. Honestly there is nothing to add, it is a great and fun game where all mechanics feel really good. Everything is in place, everything is perfect. Great job! |
| Oct 23 19:10:34 | 8h 54m | Dead Frequency | ♥ 1 | I liked it. The monster is not too dangerous, but scary. Listening to the radio to figure out the code is a great idea. Good game, with a nice atmosphere, graphics and sound. Congrats! |
| Oct 23 20:48:20 | 1h 37m | KURGAN | ♥ 1 | So, I am serious! If in a week I do not find out what happens next, I will start smashing everything around! You have 7 days to finish at least the first act of the game! Aaaargh! Such a cool atmosphere, sound, setting, - everything is so wonderful! And so little! I want more! |
| Oct 23 20:58:48 | 10m 28s | Reinvent the Wheel | ♥ 1 | Very unexpected take on the theme. I liked it. It would be cool to visually upgrade the wheel as stats change, but yeah, it's Compo. The only complaint is that when you get an upgrade while holding down the left mouse button, the upgrade gets selected automatically. Otherwise it was fun to roll and fight. Congrats! |
| Oct 24 19:31:09 | 22h 32m | Forgotten Pignology | ♥ 1 | Mechanisms controlled by your own body are really cool. It was fun dragging the pig with a crane. Lacks a bit more clarity at the beginning, I first thought the pig needed to be directed into the furnace, but it turned out that freedom meant something more interesting. Congrats on an interesting and unusual game! |
| Oct 24 20:05:30 | 34m 21s | Hadal Station | ♥ 1 | What an ominous ending. Very cool atmospheric game, with beautiful graphics. The only thing I got stuck on was keycard number three, but it was enough to read the text more carefully. Great game, even without a discount for it being made during Compo. Congrats! |
