| May 3 09:35:09 | Honey BZZZness | ♥ 4 | Took me a little bit to figure out what to do, i was confused what to click on to do what. (anything, click ANYTHING), didn't realize you could click and drag the window either, so I was being attacked for a while and didn't know (doesn't seem to do anything to you though?). Also defaulted to a weird thin screen but it did let me maximize it. Overall pretty nice, loved the graphics and sound, the tech tree was literally over in seconds so it could have used some tuning there, and getting more bees didn't really accomplish much more over just clicking but it was fun to watch them buzz around. | |
| May 3 09:46:18 | 11m 09s | Sortcery | ♥ 2 | As with the poster above it was really hard to figure out how the game works, plus the paper itself constantly pops up when trying to drag stuff to the bottom right. Once I kinda figured out what was going on it was more a fight to click the correct controls in time as the physics went haywire, which honestly was pretty amusing. I like it as a concept but would have been better if it was more visual/audio than just the meter at the top. |
| May 3 10:21:58 | 35m 40s | Go Go Truck | ♥ 2 | Don't know if it was a bug or what but the camera just constantly sways up and down, bouncing all the time, I got through one mission but the camera was literally making me nauseous. |
| May 3 10:41:57 | 19m 59s | DEVILivery | ♥ 3 | Really good take on the theme, graphics and sound were great and I liked the whole items mechanic of fetching what he asked for. I wasn't a fan of the combat, you seem to be basically invincible as long as you're moving and shots don't really have any sort of impact, plus it lasts a LONG time. I had to keep the screen small, not sure if there's a bug or what but making the screen too large (anything bigger than about 1024x768) caused intense lag. (GF4090,r9 5950x w/ 128 gig ram system so there's really no reason it should have) |
| May 3 12:21:36 | 1h 39m | Discrete Dungeoneers | ♥ 0 | I couldn't seem to get past the second level, once all 4 of my guys escaped it just stat there forever. I couldn't seem to get attacking to work either, the other functions were fine but choosing attack was basically a death sentence for whoever i set it on. |
| May 3 12:26:48 | 5m 12s | Delivery Dungeon | ♥ 1 | Loved the funky music and the GB aesthetic, I only saw like 2 enemies before finding the stairs though, most of the rooms were empty. |
| May 3 12:39:31 | 12m 43s | Trees of Terror ☠️ | ♥ 3 | lagged pretty badly in parts and had invisible walls everywhere, I got to a little house but I was blocked from getting closer to it with no real way to know what to do next. The overall atmosphere is nice but the trees glitching and floating above the ground did ruin it a little. |
| May 3 12:52:19 | 12m 48s | INTACT™ | ♥ 1 | I overall liked it, REALLY easy to get your package stuck somewhere you can't get it back though. The roll really needed to be it's own control, having it all click made it really hard to control the throw and roll separately. |
| May 3 13:25:53 | 33m 34s | License To Serve | ♥ 1 | I got to where it says there's not enough info and to press shift+f11 to cheat (but that does nothing), checking my work in the notes everything shows OK so not really sure what I'm missing. I like the concept/art/etc but wish there was a bit more to it than just looping through the locations, since they all basically say the same things. |
| May 3 13:28:47 | 2m 54s | Post me? | ♥ 0 | Access Denied when trying to download. |
| May 3 13:36:59 | 8m 12s | Rotting Hood's De-liver-y Service | ♥ 0 | My only real complaint is it's EXTREMELY hard to hear the guards and there doesn't seem to be a way to turn the volume on that up, the music pretty much completely masks it. |
| May 7 01:34:55 | 83h 57m | Asteroid Outlaws | ♥ 2 | Loved the gameplay, the mouse could have used a bit of tweaking to not overcorrect so much (actually aiming the ship seemed useless as it just sprung back and forth rapidly, but you could still navigate well enough with the keyboard using the match speed on space bar) but still fun and addicting! I was able to clear the debt pretty quickly, didn't really need much in the way of upgrades, didn't really help that much. I did find the station and found you can bacasically just block a door and park to load up. After that first run i clicked play again and noticed something interesting, my debt seemed higher and there were more objects spawned, so i started wondering if debt and spawn rate was related and...well... Screenshot_2023-05-06_20-32-34.png edit: oh it got SO much more interesting as i was posting this, since i was parked and everything was getting so crowded one of the 20kg asteroids smacked me and tethered to me, it started pulling me around the map gathering into a loot nebula as I went...then then started rubberbanding back and forth, accelerating me greatly and launching me FAR outside the map. | May 7 02:24:44 | 49m 49s | Mail-In Vengeance | ♥ 0 | I like the concept, the hitbox on the balloon is WAY too big though, often had a bunch of trees together and while it looks like you don't hit anything going between them you still take damage :/ Also had issues with the bats, if they spawned on the wall nearest you while you're going up you're not fast enough even with the boost to get away from them, and sometimes they just hover on top of you taking multiple points of damage away. |
| May 7 02:32:29 | 7m 45s | Package Panic | ♥ 1 | nice little game, pretty straightforward and short, would be cool if there were side-paths you could send packages on forcing you to deal with more at once and multiple paths. |
| May 7 02:46:36 | 14m 07s | Deliver to Whence you Came | ♥ 1 | 10min 2sec on the first try, there's a neat physics thing you can do once you get the lure where you jump as you place it under yourself and launch yourself sky high, once you know that the screens are basically just trying to line up a kick to the end then launching yourself across (the last few you have to clear a path first). More to it than looked at first, a good puzzle concept, some of the screens were mildly annoying as you basically just had to move a few tiles at a time but still good. |
| May 7 03:05:37 | 19m 01s | Flight Dispatch | ♥ 2 | loved the UI, and style in general, did have some issues with windows not wanting to focus though, the map in particular kept getting stuck behind other things and wouldn't come up even if i clicked it, the DroneMgr too I'd constantly click in to type and nothing would happen (as you have to click the top to focus then the bar at the bottom to type in it, which isn't immediately obvious) The manager was so close to my own terminal settings I kept out of habit pressing up to try to do last command, would have loved for that to work! |
| May 7 03:14:05 | 8m 28s | Danger Dash | ♥ 1 | audio didn't work for me at all, did find a nice bug that made deliveries easier though, you can walk away with the delivery window open and just keep taking new deliveries as you turn in other ones, if you cycle a few times you often get a house right next to you. |
| May 7 03:25:00 | 10m 55s | Once upon a delivery... | ♥ 1 | good concept, camera blocks you from seeing anything 90% of the time though so you're just getting stuck, the snap to the new location also kept leaving me starting with a wolf already on me! (their models seem to jitter and spaz out once they touch you). Extremely hard to see the attacks too. |
| May 7 03:36:43 | 11m 43s | Rawnhill Post | ♥ 2 | decent, simple puzzle game, hard to see the vehicles (especially the little blue one!) sometimes |
| May 7 03:43:33 | 6m 50s | Mad Delivery | ♥ 3 | Whenever I start the game the vehicle just starts moving full speed backwards and falls off the map, tried multiple times with the same effect, if I hit left or right quickly enough I can stay inside the map but I can't get the car to stop moving and all it seems to do is spin in circles. |
| May 7 04:00:56 | 17m 23s | Rocket Lawnchair 2: Baby Deliverydoo! | ♥ 1 | I was never good at qwop either, i managed to get through the first water delivery but man the second one just seems impossible short of a lucky sling! I enjoyed it though, could have delt with maybe not having the voice lines repeat every time though :D |
| May 7 04:28:44 | 27m 48s | Pizza Race | ♥ 0 | slightly awkward hitbox on the bike, pizza also kept spawning for me under vehicles so i couldn't get it :/ Good job though, loved the music! |
| May 7 04:49:20 | 20m 36s | Castaway Crates | ♥ 1 | I built a shelter out of clown shoes and googly eyes, learned to surf by watching the reflections off a disco ball, distracted a feral unicorn with juggling balls filled with seawater (who then learned to juggle), and joined a group of larper's playing pirate, definitely a normal experience. I also had the prompt for finding food and had the option of choosing a fishing pole, I chose socks but somehow my guy macgyver-d it into animal traps anyways and they were wildly effective. |
| May 7 04:57:12 | 7m 52s | Package Punk | ♥ 1 | I enjoyed it! camera was a bit iffy, didn't always obey, and the movement didn't seem to always re-orient properly so I was constantly getting stuck, but it was still fun. Why is the mouse cursor so big though bigcursor.png |
| May 7 05:01:53 | 4m 41s | Snail Mail | ♥ 0 | Looks like OpenAL is crashing on load, throwing AL_INVALID_OPERATION on every subsequent call |
| May 7 05:10:09 | 8m 16s | ALTHEMA | ♥ 0 | The linux executable ran, didn't have any sound though, didn't see any slowdown. I don't really get what to do, i can get into a fight but it immediately kicks me out with "returning for repairs, enemy regains territory" no matter what, I haven't even taken any damage though? There doesn't seem to be anywhere else to go. |
| May 7 05:44:53 | 34m 44s | Legal_Transactions.bat | ♥ 4 | Loved it, wish there was a better way to do defenses though, kept having to destroy my paths to prevent damage :/ Managed to break 1m after learning the controls (had no idea how to build or defend first try, lol)Screenshot_2023-05-07_00-43-06.png |
| May 7 05:51:52 | 6m 59s | Feed The Owlets | ♥ 1 | had a hard time controlling the owl, but found it's pretty easy to just scare the mice then park on the other side of them waiting for them to run into you (which counts) the trees in front of the camera made it pretty hard to see sometimes and masked the stuff you can run into. Audio and atmosphere was on point, just wish the controls were more direct. |
| May 7 06:17:09 | 25m 17s | Delivery Dude | ♥ 1 | would pretty much instantly flip going off the road, especially up the hill, but you have to go off the road or you can't reach the delivery point (also clipped through the ground a few times :/) Not sure how the gas works, i went from 120 for a long time to 100 then straight to 12 and ran out a few feet later. Could be pretty solid with some polish and a few more mechanics, the collision is the biggest issue though. |
| May 7 06:50:45 | 33m 36s | Carnage Courier | ♥ 2 | I loved it but honestly the problem was....you win too easily! I made it to the last level first run and almost killed the boss only then to learn at that point there's upgrades when you die! Then when i purposefully did a run collecting crates (since now i knew they were currency, not points) I upgraded size and energy then...won the next run never getting to upgrade again :/ I selected "keep playing" thinking to become huge but it took all my crates away, the only way to keep going getting lots of crates would be to purposefully die before the boss. The controls could have used a little work too, like others have said always facing the mouse would have been a LOT better, there's also no great indicator of how much energy you have. |
| May 7 07:12:53 | 22m 08s | Premium Drift | ♥ 0 | it controls well enough, though the drifting was a bit loose.wasn't entirely clear at first where I had to go (could use some indicator of direction or drawn paths) or that I could pick up multiple orders at once. I had no sound as well, not sure if that's a bug? Feels crazy-taxi inspired in some ways. |
| May 7 09:17:03 | 2h 04m | Space Haulers | ♥ 1 | There's been a decent number of somewhat similar space games doing different variations this jam and like many I like this one too! The art and music are great, the gameplay loop is solid, if anything it just ends too early as there's no real upgrades after you fill your slots. By round 4 or 5 there wasn't a whole lot the aliens could do to me, they just got instantly swept once they got close, by round 8 I could just load full danger cargo and click embark from that point forward. I think it has a solid enough loop that maybe some additional features (branching paths?) and being able to upgrade ships/guns it could actually be a full game. screenshot-ship.png |
| May 7 09:56:47 | 39m 44s | Big Fruit | ♥ 1 | that was weird....in a good way though. Love the art style. Was pretty hard to tell sometimes what was walkable and what wasn't, and where items were I could interact with (lots of stuff looked interactable but wasnt). I did manage to get to the end but there were a few paths I didn't realize I could walk on so it stumped me for a while until I acccidently walked over one while going around what I thought was a pit/water/etc. |
| May 7 10:09:49 | 13m 02s | Too Hot to Hendl | ♥ 2 | definitely not what I was expecting from the title card! The art and sound is cute, the controls were weird and kinda stiff though, really inconsistent with what can be collided with and what's foreground/background art which made some of the levels more frustrating than challenging. Overall pretty good. |
| May 7 10:32:01 | 22m 12s | Hover Bites | ♥ 2 | I'm a sucker for logistics games so I loved it, kept spending everything upgrading my drones so didn't realize i could buy more drone pads until after my first 3 were fully upgraded! |
| May 17 11:37:56 | 241h 05m | The Convoy | ♥ 1 | Great work, impressive for the amount of time it was done in. (4124 lines in two days is brutal when you take into account actually having to stop and...you know...think, my entry only topped 2500 this year and I was SPENT afterwards, granted it was also in C not asm so the lines are a bit longer) I couldn't get very far in as it just seems you can't move quickly enough to cover both sides but it's still pretty solid |
| May 17 11:43:45 | 5m 49s | 5-STAR | ♥ 1 | Was not expecting the cat to steal the food, lol Pretty good, you can cheat quite a bit to not have to backtrack by stacking boxes then overlapping the tile you stacked them on and picking them back up. Could have used some music but I get the press for time! |
| May 17 11:50:40 | 6m 55s | Subprime Shipping | ♥ 1 | driving physics weren't bad, better than a good number in this jam, the camera being bound to the vehicle angle though made it bounce and sway a lot so it was hard to look at for too long. |
| May 17 11:58:32 | 7m 52s | My Flavor-ite Kidnapper | ♥ 1 | Loved the art, wish it had even just a background loop or very simple sound as i think that hurts the experience quite a bit being silent. The auto-translation is gibberish at times but also pretty funny. (I have no idea why everyone keeps complaining about retrograde mercury or why people keep winking at me) |
| May 17 12:05:57 | 7m 25s | Blockhead Bill | ♥ 1 | Great artwork, controls were a little rough, hard to click on people, you keep accidentally setting the box down. Wish there was a bit more to it than just letting people queue up and giving them the boxes they ask for. (like maybe if the boxes could be lost or people could leave? |
| May 17 12:17:49 | 11m 52s | FoodEx | ♥ 1 | pretty hard to line yourself up to catch the food and money, and the food never disappears so food on the ground quickly makes it impossible to get back to your store, but cool concept, wish the store was farther away so you could do it more crazy-taxi like. |
| May 17 12:26:28 | 8m 39s | Wasabi Whiskers | ♥ 1 | great puzzles! Just wish you could roll back to before you started the sushi instead of clearing everything. |
