| May 1 21:05:31 | soul sender | ♥ 1 | Aw man I couldn't really get used to the controls. :/ Even after quite a few rounds 3 was my maximum. It felt like I needed to reverse all the way to the end of the stage to get anywhere, though the wrapping did help. It's a nice idea just think it's not for me. Wasn't a big fan of the music too, felt like just random notes. I did really like the pixel art and aesthetic with the different shades of purple, that and the hearts reminded me a bit of Undertale! I'm really sorry if I sounded harsh, just want to help out. | |
| May 1 21:17:59 | 12m 28s | Hotel Frenzy | ♥ 2 | Awww yeah I LOVE this!!! Such a creative idea. I love games that use the mouse in inventive ways and this one is delightfully simple, playing it feels like second nature. As soon as the timer started and that insane music started rolling I knew immediately what I had to do. Every hotel is very clear in its layout and you can get an idea of how to traverse them right as you see them for the first time. Feels very snappy and the pace is perfect. Amazing job honestly |
| May 1 21:55:49 | 37m 50s | Travelling salesman | ♥ 5 | I'm not really sure what to do once I get to another town ;w; I managed to get some stuff between towns but nothing seemed to happen, I didn't see any other people in the map, don't know what to do |
| May 2 15:51:11 | 17h 55m | Disk Dasher | ♥ 3 | Fun game!! At first it was a bit difficult to see where the discs were, but as I got used to the layout of the city I could find them a lot easier. Was really funny to see the character get flung around when hit by cars and that actually helped me some times lol. The graphics were the best part in my opinion, super polished. I'm a sucker for this shiny futuristic look. |
| May 2 15:59:54 | 8m 43s | Dungeons and Burgers | ♥ 1 | Cute little adventure game! Having to go back after bringing the burger the whole way was kind of a cheap shot but I guess that's on me for just picking it up without thinking lol. The 3d graphics were simple but functional, and the 2d art was very cute. I liked the humor and the writing and the lighting server well to set the mood. Nice and short! |
| May 3 00:44:41 | 8h 44m | Energy Delivery | ♥ 0 | I really liked the small bits of lore at the beginning, helped set the mood. I thought it was confusing at first but then kinda just pivoted to watching out for the red buildings and getting energy to them. That lasted me until 279 score! I'm not sure if I completely understand what I was doing, the top bar for example I don't know what it does, so I eventually lost but didn't know why. A bit more explanation or simpler mechanics would have helped! ^^' Strongest parts for me were the graphics and mood |
| May 3 15:52:23 | 15h 07m | Ouija | ♥ 1 | Freaky and beautiful! I enjoy horror games that can utilize mood without relying too much on jumpscares and this is it. The Ouija portion of the game is very inventive. While slow, that serves to up the tension beautifully. Not sure if it's possible to lose the game but the demon does make you innately afraid. Eventually though I mustered up the courage to approach them and I think we got quite comfortable with each other. ^^ damon.png Great game with amazing visuals and mood. The theme is a stretch but I'm into that. At least it's a break from all the cardboard boxes. 😅 Congrats! |
| May 3 16:00:20 | 7m 57s | Ultimate Package | ♥ 3 | What a delightfully quirky game!! I love the music and the characters. I gotta say the enemies are a bit janky, the boxes spawn right in your face when you switch screens and give you no time to react, and the final boss has very erratic movement and keeps teleporting around. Thankfully there are many generous checkpoints so the experience is all good! I really enjoy simple platformers in general so this was a treat. |
| May 3 16:25:24 | 25m 04s | Popcorn Odyssey | ♥ 2 | Lovely game!! Cute music and graphics, expert level design and mechanics. I'd never seen these mechanics before used in a game and I think they work beautifully here! Only thing: using the bumpers always felt unsafe, like a gamble if I was gonna land in the right spot or not, and sometimes it didn't feel like my fault. I think they would have benefited from having a consistent set trajectory every time the popcorn lands of it, kind of like the aerial faith plates in Portal 2. That way you can be sure that no physics inconsistencies will happen when you're 90% done with a long difficult level. x) That said I really enjoyed moving around my popcorn goblin, it controls very well. Unfortunately the last level was too much for me 😔 especially after I died literally 1 tile away from the end and never managed to get back there. Oh well. The popcorn rap will have to remain a mystery to me. |
| May 3 22:33:35 | 6h 08m | Deliverables - LD53 | ♥ 2 | Ok you said in your stream that this was a mess and I kinda see why but I thought it was super charming! I'm surprised you got such consistent quality assets from Midjourney it looked very pretty. The objective was pretty clear and being able to see how many babies were delivered through this game by other people was neat, though imagina how awesome it would be if you could also see the names people put. 😅 One thing I thought was weird is that many times I got to the end and died at the same time. The baby certificate appeared but the game over UI appeared over it and pressing Reset just closed the UI, so not sure what happened there, I couldn't ever get past level 2 of questions because of that. Anyway, here's my babies! Captura de tela 2023-05-03 192843.png |
| May 4 00:50:18 | 2h 16m | TOWER CLIMB | ♥ 1 | So cute!! The character designs and puppet animations are all delightfully quirky, and have sort of a freaky vibe to them at the same time. The gameplay is super simple, nothing too out of the ordinary about it other than the dash mechanic which I thought was very well executed and satisfying to use. I think movement and physics felt a bit slow at times, especially in the final level where I died a bunch of times, though the game is not too long so it didn't bother me. I think this game really shines in the presentation, it has a very distinct style with the designs, textured outlines and wobbly sprites. |
| May 4 01:13:23 | 23m 05s | RELEASE THE MEAT | ♥ 3 | AYYY THATS MY SONG 😍 😍 I came here from your comment on my Pixabay submission for the music you're using here, I'm so stoked to see it being used on actual projects JKDJDS thank you. So the game! This is a hilarious idea. I loved playing Bad Piggies as a kid and this is quite similar, it's super fun to build a machine and try to get your meat trolley to the end and when it works it's super satisfying. Unfortunately I got stuck on level 3, had no idea how to get past the fall without turning into a snowball. It was kinda frustrating having to rebuild my machine from scratch every time too, :/ I feel like iterating on your designs is part of the fun of these games, so having to rebuild it all from the beginning feels like busywork. Nevertheless, this was still super charming! |
| May 4 01:28:33 | 15m 10s | DElive | ♥ 1 | Very well put together game. It's simple and to the point, in mechanics, graphics and even audio, feels very confident. I like how every game item has some sort of feedback by being shot at with your weapon, be it losing health, being pushed around or exploding. I think you shouldn't have to kill all the tiny red boids to pass the stage as they are very annoying to hit and often get very far away from you, but it's cool that you can kinda redirect them with your movement to make them stop. Also very strong mood, feels like a minimalistic sci-fi radar kind of thing |
| May 4 01:47:01 | 18m 28s | Hop To It | ♥ 1 | Extremely charming!! Takes a little bit to get used to throwing the papers but then you become a god. The town becomes your play-thing until you buy everything there is. Super addicting, creative mechanics, beautiful graphics and I ADORE the voices of the old ladies by the houses kjdjkd. Overall superb entry |
| May 4 02:02:21 | 15m 20s | Rogue 'n Royal | ♥ 2 | Super cute and creative!! I love the amount of content you managed to have with only a little bit of flavor text and minigames. The graphics are very unique and really sell a sort of tabletop aesthetic. Although, I was a bit disappointed when I found out (by losing) that the game had a time limit.. There was so much on the board to explore and do, but the time was way too short, so on my second go around I just avoided everything and went straight through to the end with barely enough time, missing all the fun. I think this game could have really taken advantage of the fun adventure and roleplay side and went a bit harder into the exploration! If I had more time I would love to 100% a game like this, seeing the new characters and situations that appear is the most fun. |
| May 4 02:14:19 | 11m 58s | Parcel Larceny | ♥ 1 | What a creative game!! But also SO HARD WTF????? I legit have no idea how to get past level 5, it looks like the dog is faster than me, zero chance! That said, this game is delightfully quirky, I love the cartoonish feeling, the crazy granny with a gun, the guard dog, how the police just BARGE INTO someone's front lawn to run over a package thief. This game is as charming as it goes. |
| May 4 02:18:36 | 4m 17s | Demonic Delivery | ♥ 1 | Super simple, I got nothing to say really. 😅 The controls are fine, the graphics are nice, since this is a jam game, could really have used some free music and sounds to set the mood a bit more. |
| May 4 02:27:20 | 8m 44s | Not a Bot! | ♥ 4 | OMFG THAT ENDING SCREEN DAJKDASDJASK ;w;w this game is AMAZING i LOVE the web aesthetic, the cute characters, the music, the challenges and words on the captchas, this game is full of personality and charisma. Also, I'm a sucker for idle games so this was like made for me. |
| May 4 15:24:45 | 12h 57m | Constellation Courier | ♥ 4 | Freaking. Beautiful. This feels like a very personal game, I love all the characters (a bit sad that I related to Shane and Riley so much ;w; - well except for the wedding crashing part), the art and music are PHENOMENAL, set the mood so well you feel like you're actually getting to know these characters, even if you only speak to them for a couple seconds each. The overworld music specifically almost makes me cry. There's not much in the gameplay, it's more of a visual novel, but the game knows its strengths very well. Congratulations to all the team you all did wonderfully!! |
| May 4 15:40:18 | 15m 33s | Mailure To Launch | ♥ 2 | Aw I wish I could play your game but unfortunately it runs really poorly on my PC. :( I did really like the intro cutscene, the awkward delivery and the implication that this is somewhat of a common occurrence is super funny. Also the music is quite bombastic! Got some jazzy chords there |
| May 5 15:10:26 | 23h 30m | The Ferryman | ♥ 1 | Very moody and nice looking game, I like the dialogue, visuals and audio. Only thing is that I have no idea how to get an ending other than the thief and the no-pass ones x) I feel like I ran out of options and could still just do those two endings. Perhaps some better guidance would have helped here |
| May 5 15:49:35 | 39m 09s | Volcaninja | ♥ 1 | New record perhaps?? Captura de tela 2023-05-05 124700.png What an AMAZING entry!!! The music is a freaking bop, was humming it uncontrollably all throughout my break from work, fits the game perfectly and actually sounds like something an actual NES game would play at the time! Controls felt a bit uncomfortable, my left hand was always cramping, feel like W could have been a better button for jump. Restart could be a biiit quicker too. Also, many important things are off-screen which is kinda cheap and guarantees that your first time around will have some deaths even if you are very skilled. That said this is still an incredible and addictive game! |
| May 5 16:09:57 | 20m 22s | Devil's Corp | ♥ 4 | Extremely polished graphics and banging music! The weapons felt really good to use and each of them felt very unique. Invisible demons were a bit too cheap, felt like every time I died it was due to one of them. Though that just made me more careful in later runs. Strangely, I had a lot of problems during my second playthrough: Don't know how to reload my gun, I think it happens automatically, but in my second playthrough, I got to a point in the first round that no matter now much I clicked, my weapon would never reload. Music also never played. Then, when I got to the second round, all enemies were immortal, they never took any hits and just kept spawning. It happened in all other rounds too until the end, where at least I got the good ending from the souls I'd collected in the first round. 😅 So that was weird. Regardless, the game was super fun, I enjoyed the different endings you can get from the boss and felt like the difficulty scaled well. The music, animation and overall polish are this game's strongest aspects. Congrats to the team!! |
| May 5 20:14:23 | 4h 04m | Return To Sender | ♥ 2 | Omg its like papers please but cute pups!! Nice to see a game made with pure webdev technology, I wanna give that a try some day. I played to the end and got scarily good at selectively picking out faulty products, maybe I was made for this. Anyway, this was a super creative and pretty game with tons of witty writing! Color difference from reference image was maybe a bit too subtle, I always had to do a double take. Also, I made it to the night shift day without knowing that I had to check *only one* reason for return, not every reason ;w; quotas suddenly got a lot more achievable. Maybe that mechanic could have been better highlighted. Surprised at the amount of levels you managed to make! And each one felt unique enough with the new mechanics and dialogue. Great job on this and sorry for the headphones lol can relate ^^ |
| May 5 21:43:03 | 1h 28m | Asteroid Outlaws | ♥ 2 | Damn this game has got to be the hardest *thing* I've ever tried to do JKDKJDAS man, I'm shocked that anyone even *thought* of a control scheme this insane, let alone being able to actually control it 😵 I don't think it would be fair to rate this game in anything other than graphics, audio and humor (all superb, like seriously what a beautiful game) cuz I only managed to get like 1 or 2 boxes in JKDSJKSD. I feel like if I played this for like 1 or 2 weeks straight I could master it though |
| May 5 22:01:26 | 18m 23s | Maily Melo | ♥ 5 | AGHHHHH WHAT A CUTE GAME!!!! God I love the quirky medieval music and the characters so much,,, their little :< faces and when they do this :3 nhaw. The game itself is like a much more creative take on a visual novel! I love how getting the message to the right person lets them respond, which gives you more dialogue. Sending the letter back was a bit confusing, as others pointed out, and dragging stuff seemed to not work sometimes. Also, I watched this game in one stream and heard the idea of messing with the items people send, keeping some of them to yourself or sending to the wrong person, to change their reactions, if you ever continue this game with a feature like this it could have so much potential!! As it is though this is already a remarkable game full of character, I enjoyed playing a lot |
| May 5 22:15:02 | 13m 36s | Delivering realness: The human simulator | ♥ 2 | This isn't a "game", this is art. This is a statement, a thesis, and also it's really fucking weird. I was pogging so hard through all that. Legitimately love it. Don't be human, be yourself. You freak. Nasty. Love you. Captura de tela 2023-05-05 190834.png |
| May 5 22:45:59 | 30m 57s | Porch Pirate Panic | ♥ 1 | This is AWESOME oh my GODDDDDDDDDD what a BANGER!!! The controls, graphics, juice, MUSIC, everything is so punchy and good!!!!! The gameplay loop is super satisfying especially after you get the chaingun. Only "bug" i seemed to find is that after playing for so long I looked to have escaped the map! Which was actually kinda fun lol Captura de tela 2023-05-05 192901.png Unfortunately as I clicked off the game to take that screenshot it stopped getting my inputs.,.,,. goddamnit right on wave 9. Whatever I tried again cuz it was so fun. The ending was SO worth it!! You managed to cram a lot into this little game, congratulations!!! I especially loved how you got some time in between waves to experiment with your gun before having to use it, and enemies are presented in controlled scenarios to show what they do. This is very expertly designed. |
| May 5 23:06:01 | 20m 02s | Unspecified Postage Service | ♥ 1 | YESSSSSS HAEHHEAHASD oh my gosd as soon as I pressed D I couldn't stop laughing. What a creative idea! Reading the instructions I thought this was just gonna be a normal platformer but nope. Rolling box. It getting more and more destroyed was also super funny. The music was a bit of a mess but it honestly fits the game surprisingly well. |
| May 6 20:39:37 | 21h 33m | FoodEx | ♥ 3 | This is *wild*!! Really tempting to put your computer's resources to the test. Sem título.png Super fun! Feels like more of a sandbox than a game with a rigid objective, even though you can lose, I found it quite difficult to do so. x) The city is a bit empty but I like that there were small secrets like the ability to control different trucks. The car handling mechanics are really good and intuitive, maybe I would have just liked some way to see better what was behind me, like a button to change the camera to a front view or a top-down view. Either way, this is one of those games where you can spend hours just playing around |
| May 6 20:55:15 | 15m 38s | The Delivery | ♥ 1 | That was a cute lil adventure, I enjoyed talking to the characters, though I'm confused cuz I think I'm missing something.. The characters seem to give me quest lines, like bring me peppers, or a matching hat, or tell the troll to stop throwing rocks, and I know where all of these would be, but the dialogue options don't seem to change, and I can't interact with the characters in any different ways. Don't know if this is intended or I just didn't understand how to play xd Anyway, I really like the graphics and writing, nice first entry! I hope you'll come back for more ^^ |
| May 6 21:12:03 | 16m 48s | Decrypting Handwriting | ♥ 1 | I DID IT!!! This is such a creative idea, I loved it. Only thing is that my eyesight is already kinda trash so I would have appreciated some bigger lettering on those buttons ;w; I'm surprised at how doable this was, from the screenshots it looked almost impossible, but with enough stubbornness I kept going. I think some QOL features on the scanner would be nice, like making the sliders for movement, zoom, etc update automatically as you change them, and I'm not sure what the use of the "enhance" slider is since you never want it to make the picture blocky anyway, I guess it's just there for that secret agent feel. x) Awesome game great job!! |
| May 6 21:41:03 | 29m 00s | BURNOUT | ♥ 2 | This is a very creative idea! Giving each baby a different dialogue so you can remember it is very clever. Unfortunately I think the game went on for way too long :/ I get that the game is called burnout but 20 babies is overkill in my opinion, I played for a very long time, noticed I wasn't even halfway done and then just gave up and delivered them all wrong to get to the end. Each baby and pair of parent is so similar you have to keep track of every specific detail you can remember. I do really like the art and especially the animation of the intern running it's so funny! I think with a bit more polish this could be a really fun game! |
| May 6 23:07:41 | 1h 26m | Catnip Express | ♥ 0 | Game's pretty cute! Best part is definitely the ship controls, they're super smooth and intuitive, and flying through rings is extremely satisfying. Also great shaders. I didn't think the music fit super well but it's fine! On feedback maybe I just wish there were more rings around, or more ways to rack up speed other than the rings, because the planets are so far apart it can get kinda tedious to just press W for a long time. |
