Good game. I would have made the controls a little more responsive, but overall the game is good)

Good concept and pretty fun, I can see how challenging it can get as you go further/faster and are trying to read and respond to the dialogue while dodging the cars.
A little tough to try and read/answer the questions at the same time as driving, and I had an issue where I got to the hospital and then half a second later got the car crash sound and a game over screen. Otherwise, I love the idea! We had thought of a baby delivery game too, and I think that you nailed it! It's really cool that it counts everyone's plays online too! Does it work if you're offline at all?
Your entry matched the theme perfectly. I like the graphics. But it was difficult to read and dodge the other cars. I played multiple times. What is a good score? Screenshot_1.png
Well, I had a lot of kids. Also, those hands are going to haunt me in my dreams.

What is there to say about this game. It's sweet and short. Art style is working well. I did experience some tearing and a few bugs where the game told me I had failed after arriving at the hospital, but none of them were game breaking. Love the leader board, but I was only able to see my own kids. Not sure if that is intentional or not.
Great work, especially for a solo project!
Alright, I'm off to go parenting the crowd of hungry mouths I apparently decided to get!
The graphics are great, and I like the fact that you have to play the game multiple times to make it more challenging. Overall, it's a great game, good job.
Please upload a web build!
Good job! Very funny game!
Ok you said in your stream that this was a mess and I kinda see why but I thought it was super charming! I'm surprised you got such consistent quality assets from Midjourney it looked very pretty. The objective was pretty clear and being able to see how many babies were delivered through this game by other people was neat, though imagina how awesome it would be if you could also see the names people put. One thing I thought was weird is that many times I got to the end and died at the same time. The baby certificate appeared but the game over UI appeared over it and pressing Reset just closed the UI, so not sure what happened there, I couldn't ever get past level 2 of questions because of that. Anyway, here's my babies!

I got to 7 babies born. The controls were a little awkward with how I had to keep reaching over to the mouse with my right hand yet I had to use arrow keys to drive. I like how you don't get speed boosts the second you press the button. Prevented me from getting into a lot of accidents.
Love the Graphics and the humor great polished game you got there^^
Got quite a bit of babies born after I figured out I need to click on a car for it to be controllable (or it could be a bug?). Overall nice game as you need to reply and drive at the same time, which is quite challenging!
Here's my babies: deliverables.png
Nice simple game, and a unique take on the theme. It was unclear to me at first that I was moving on to new levels; I think because of having to press the play button every time.
Some different obstacle types would also be nice, maybe the other cars could be driving too, but at different speeds? I really liked having to respond to the dialogue whilst driving though, it was interesting to have to multi-task.
lets go

wooooohaa!! thanks for all the reviews everyone! sorry for the late replis I had an intense run yesterday and didn't have the chance to appretiate all your reviews!
Thanks for playing and posting your babies on the page I am glad the counter is working! it is my first time implementing a global counter to a game like this and I am glad I managed doing it!
@hoshinu "Does it work if you’re offline at all?" I don't know
@helen Hey thanks for sharing your babis! I am sorry you got all boys thou but basically the further you went for hospitals the rarer the babies get... sooo if you are to get a boi or gworl like in the posts that means you are higher at score. also the meters the baby travelled for! there still are babies not unlocked as I see from the posts players shared!
@cheesepencil that was my initial goal but sadly could not get the online counter working with HTML build on unreal engine..
@fupi Heyy thanks for playing my game and posting your babis!!! I see you got all boys as well. I don't know why maybe becuase you were stuck at hospital 2? :sob: sorry for the bugs but there are 5 different babis in the game! as for the midjourney I am trying to art direct it on my free time. I have figured somethings work but it is still not consistent enough.
@drazil100 thanks for playing the game hope you had a fun time! I know it was difficult to both answer and ride the car but mom has expected answers from you and if you give the right answer it will give you a second or two to prepare for hastening. Like when mother asks if it is a boy or girl she also picks a random gender herself and answers I expect that too or I was expecting other! the original idea was to give scores for all these events but I couldn't manage doing it! :sob:
@apoly heyy you got no rare babis as well sorry for that I hope it is nothing bad in code... but you should have gotten with all those babies! the bug is I believe game starts in windowed mode for some reason and expects you to click on it for some reason..
@nuin and @klausklapper WOWW THANKS FOR PLAYING THE GAME!! Congratulations you got to the rare babies but there is still 1 unlocked baby! you are the ones closest to getting it as well
as for everyone else thanks you alll for trying out the game and making LD53 babis! guess I should make it so you can get rare babies even on your earlier runs.. @josephgallear @mololo @heuser @smoky01 @joao-mazzarolo
I've seen a few baby-delivery games all set in the hospital but none so far had you racing down the street to get your pregnany partner to the hospital in time! Cool concept! The baby portraits are cute and derpy too, I love 'em hehe!
I really liked the humor aspect of the game, also the idea of making a game with midjourney was also great. But I constantly crashed while answering questions on the way, because of that the main idea of the game could be "Texting while driving kill you". Jokes aside congrats for the game
I basically feel the same as the above comment. The dialogue gives this game more character than if it had none, but it could be made easier to handle if the text was maybe closer to the center/more readable. Nice fun and short game.
The sound effects are pretty good, but it would have been stellar with some music to go with the driving. The birth certificate is a nice touch and I enjoyed the few deliveries I made. The graphics color/tone is solid. Well done.
This child is aptly named 'Not even a mother could love this'

I wasn't expecting story from this, and the way you did the text along the side of the screen is real slick! It was hard to read that whilst also focusing on the car zooming to the horizon, and I definitely died a few times before I figured out the key to press to respond. Even though you showed the key to press, my attention was on not crashing, it would be helpful to pause the game when an option comes up, or maybe you could even have the response be controlled by how you drive, e.g. there could be a yes and no text painted on the road, and whichever you drive over is the one you answer. Then the dialogue could've felt like part of the game rather than something separate on the side.
Funny that you can name the babies even if it doesn't seem other people can see your babies (honestly probably a good thing). The core gameplay was clear, and it's neat that each time the scenario gets longer with more text. A neat little game
Really cool idea! The actual gameplay part is lacking a bit, but the concept is interesting. Would have been awesome to see everyone elses babies too lmao
The use of theme to mean delivering baby, and also delivering wife to the hospital is clever xD I forgot to name a couple of mine, but Schmeekle was my favorite child anyway hehe
