| Jan 9 21:46:34 | SolarShip | ♥ 0 | 2023-01-09 22_44_12-Window.png Fun little game. For a shooter feels kind of relaxed because of the music but also because you're tryng to move as little as possible. My favourite part is hands down the visuals for the shot. Feels super powerful! :) | |
| Jan 9 21:51:27 | 4m 53s | Fleshy Friend | ♥ 1 | 2023-01-09 20_07_30-Window.png Lovely <3 Great sound design by the way, very meaty, much yum |
| Jan 12 20:09:40 | 70h 18m | Boba | ♥ 1 | Ooooh now I get the Boba name! We were just making boba tea all along! |
| Jan 12 20:20:44 | 11m 04s | CrapCirclz | ♥ 1 | ctrl+key browser tab closing also happened to me... Graphics are super pretty, love the handdrawn shader. Not sure how to float, didn't really find out... Controls can be a lil choppy on keyboard, not so easy to draw stuff like circles with just wasd. The idea is super cool though, just wonder if a different control scheme would have played more into it. |
| Jan 12 20:32:05 | 11m 21s | Vegetable fighters! | ♥ 0 | Good choice of vegetables and fruits. Game gets a bit tedious, I suggest to keep the thing you just planted selected. |
| Jan 12 21:00:38 | 28m 33s | Cultist Garden | ♥ 2 | I loved the graphics, story, and concept. However, playability could be better. I often feel like the cards don't really react to my clicks and they seem to have long cooldowns that get tedious quickly. Nice music too by the way, really sets the mood. |
| Jan 12 21:13:24 | 12m 46s | Fairy Feeder | ♥ 3 | I enjoyed this quite a bit. The music is very fitting for the setting and scenery, the graphics are nice and pretty and then it happens... Replace the fairies with farm animals and you get what happens irl all the time... Clever game! |
| Jan 12 21:24:33 | 11m 09s | Harvest Roar | ♥ 0 | Very cute indeed, and a lot of fun to yell at apples while in a voice call lol. Wish there was less delay on the voice stuff. |
| Jan 12 21:33:26 | 8m 53s | reOrganiser | ♥ 1 | It seems the web version doesn't really work like I can't place organs anywhere. It's better in windows though. I think you've got a pretty interesting and different idea here which is quite cool! Graphics are nice too, pretty ambitious for a jam, honestly! |
| Jan 12 21:57:16 | 23m 50s | Elonkorjuu - Live Harvest | ♥ 2 | Lots of fun, this one! I love the aesthetics, especially that bit crushed voice sound! |
| Jan 12 22:17:03 | 19m 47s | Slime Crime | ♥ 3 | Such a fun game, the formula works really well. Always a good feeling to keep getting stronger and take on more and more foes! What is stomping btw? Never figured that one out though I did beat the game in the end. |
| Jan 14 00:33:04 | 26h 16m | Grow Golf | ♥ 1 | Very cool concept and good, clear visuals. Though, I never really felt like I got the hang of it. Like I understand how it's supposed to work but the progression is too fast for my golfing skill and I can never get more than like 6 balls before everything starts falling apart. I think it could be really satisfying to build up a large golfball "herd" but I'm just too bad at it to make it happen... |
| Jan 14 01:46:30 | 1h 13m | Crop Circle | ♥ 0 | Quite the pretty game! Love the color palette. I think audio and visuals feel very consistent throughout and the feedback is nice an juicy :) In a way you can pick up this game without really knowing what to do and there's not much of a negative consequence for not understanding what's going on. After two rounds I still kind of feel uncertain about whether some of the items and events are a good or bad thing. But I had fun nonetheless! |
| Jan 14 02:18:05 | 31m 35s | Doki Doki Ninjin | ♥ 2 | It is incredibly impressive how much content you managed to produce in the jam time. And that with just two people! I'm amazed! I loved all the little unique mini games and quests. The graphical style and music is beautiful and consistent. The gameplay kept staying fun and interesting throughout. All in all, a fantastic and cute experience <3 |
| Jan 14 02:36:50 | 18m 45s | Harvest of Life | ♥ 1 | I liked how you interpreted the theme with this symbolic philosophical idea in mind. It just needs some more feedback as to how many more choices I get to make before something new will happen since a lot of it is repeated to the point where I felt like I HAD to make some bad choices to progress in any way. The UI selection code was also sadly quite buggy at times, like fonts would stay there longer than the frame, once I clicked one to the right, I couldn't go back to the left anymore and so on. In the end I am also not really sure how my specific actions affected the outcome. Most choices also feel pretty obvious to me. Like of course it's good to do well in school, not to steal, not to insult people and not to take drugs. But that makes the choices feel less meaningful because they're so obvious. Like the drawing style by the way. It's something else and refreshing. But my favourite part was probably the audio design and music. |
| Jan 14 02:47:46 | 10m 56s | HarvesTile | ♥ 1 | Hmmm this looks so promising but sadly I just didn't manage to understand the basics. I just have no idea how to ever get that all-important resource number up in any way. Really sad, would have loved to get this and play more. There just seems to be a lot of complexity right away and I'd like it better if it slowly built up to it from a very simple beginning. |
| Jan 14 03:17:16 | 29m 30s | Click On Fish | ♥ 1 | Wow this gets pretty hard! Managed to get a score of 75 but damn does it get stressful once you have a lot of fish chaotically swimming around. I like the funny designs of the fish. Very creative haha! Really fun music and VO stuff too :) |
| Jan 14 03:30:18 | 13m 02s | Weed Em and Reap | ♥ 0 | Cool idea, just wish a round lasted a little longer to balance out the inherent randomness of the car draws a little. Maybe would be nice if I could expand towns in some way to other places or if there were cards that make the run longer. Different cards could also use different amounts of the time resource so that certain things like migration can be more worth it when going for a high score. My best run ended up being at a score of 15. Love the graphic design on the cards and cities by the way! |
| Jan 14 03:56:58 | 26m 40s | Turbeets racing | ♥ 2 | Great fun! I think it's interesting how much you can catch up even extreme distances between the radish and you if you get into enough fields. At the same time there's a self-balancing aspect to this as a faster speed gets harder to control and you run into obstacles like trees and rocks more easily. Managed to beat all levels but the last one was a huge jump up in difficulty compared to the first two. Some sound effects could make this feel even better, especially for crashing into things and getting boosted by fields. |
| Jan 14 04:22:35 | 25m 37s | The Harvest | ♥ 1 | What a cool surprisingly fun adventure! I loved little bits of humour like that you can touch yourself hahah. Cool that it can be played on the game boy! |
| Jan 14 16:36:59 | 12h 14m | Harvcrab-232 | ♥ 2 | You've made something pretty complex and big here and your audio-visuals craft a wonderful atmosphere. I would have loved to play more but when I died from the second time ind the second level to the drones because there was just no way I could get enough resources in time to create even just a single turret, I gave up. It's especially sad that it throws you back to the main menu so you have to do level 1 again... Why not just reload the current level as when you entered it? In my opinion the game is balanced in a way that makes it too hard to achieve the objectives for a new player. It's fine that the ship controls are really difficult. It feels like you're in outer space and I imagine that to be hard to control. However, the player health, the time when the drones start coming in, the station health, the amount of resources needed. Pretty much all of these could be tweaked in order to make the game a lot more accessible. |
| Jan 15 01:35:04 | 8h 58m | Oasis of Souls | ♥ 1 | Wow this is an incredibly pretty game! I especially liked the automatic camera adjustment system that would make the view look quite cinematic all the time. The game just lagged sometimes but that may well be Unreal Engine's fault as it might not play too well with my somewhat old gpu driver. Didn't really understand so well how it was related to the theme or generally what the narrative was supposed to be about. It's fine though as I did enjoy my time a lot. |
| Jan 15 03:17:56 | 1h 42m | Travelling Tea Maker | ♥ 2 | Ah this is a nice concept to be a travelling tea merchant and make different teas based on the situation. I also really like the little illustrations :) Unfortunately I often didn't quite know which ingredients would be the correct ones but maybe I just didn't look for enough clues since I read the text kinda fast. |
| Jan 15 04:34:48 | 1h 16m | Lil Death | ♥ 3 | I like the overall flow of the gameplay! Doing long combos in midair is incredibly satisfying. I wish there was a way to have runs lasting longer and the character being less fragile. I also wish there was some more leniency with hit accuracy, invuln time, hit timing with enemy spawns etc. That would make it even more enjoyable but the fun-factor in this game is already really high. The animations also look fantastic and juicy. Catchy music completes the package for a great game feel :) 2023-01-15 04_52_54-Window.png |
| Jan 15 05:49:35 | 1h 14m | Dark Harvest | ♥ 2 | Ohh pretty tense atmosphere in this one, actually got kind of scary. Never managed to get out alive because the creatures kill instantly and it's a bit hard to notice them due to all the darkness. Which of course makes it scarier but also a bit too difficult for me. |
| Jan 15 06:03:29 | 13m 54s | King of Veggies | ♥ 1 | Fun! This is a really nice relaxing puzzler. Managed to get a score of 76 on my second run once I figured out how it works. Like all the little instrument sounds. Very satisfying :) |
| Jan 15 06:23:37 | 20m 08s | Homunculus | ♥ 2 | Nice little game here, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and backstory. The way you did the voice audio is really interesting sounding, almost like a different language. I got an ending where the homunculus came out of the tank and presumably attacked the others. I wonder what other endings may be possible... |
| Jan 15 07:07:12 | 43m 35s | Squirrelativity | ♥ 1 | Thank you for this adorable little title. I had a good relaxed time with it :) Last puzzle was pretty hard but I got all of them. I won't reveal your little squirrel secret, don't worry ;) Only thing I could wish for would be some new mechanic so there is some more variety. |
| Jan 15 15:58:16 | 8h 51m | Paper Druids | ♥ 1 | Ahh this is frustrating because I think it can actually be a brilliant tactics game but it's balanced to be way to inaccessible for new players like me. Little things like not being able to see the attack range of my units before walking with them, strong enemies like cavalry coming in really early, generally too many enemies spawning in, no matter how many units I have on the field, only being able to do one action per round, some enemies having too much health to deal with, most plants (that I saw) only having 1 health, not being able to undo an accidental move or attack action, being able to accidentally kill your own plants and unites and I could go on and on, sadly make it impossible for me to really get to the fun part of trying out the different units. I am just never able to build any complex shapes because I'm constantly overrun. But it could all be fixed by just tweaking these values. I think then I'd actually enjoy the game greatly as I do like these tactics games and this one has a lot of potential while using the theme innovatively and cleverly. Please do consider rebalancing if you ever do a post-jam version. Managed to get a score of 12 in my 4th run fyi. |
| Jan 15 20:21:18 | 4h 23m | Poppy Defense | ♥ 2 | Wow what a fully fleshed out game! I'm impressed with the amount of plants and upgrades you managed to get in in such a short time. Can be pretty hard at the start. I had too little seeds to get a good start sometimes but then again I think that was mostly because the minigun seems to be bugged in some way so in my next run I didn't buy that and got to wave 212023-01-15 21_15_08-Window.png Overall really liked my time with this game. Good job y'all! |
| Jan 15 22:01:36 | 1h 40m | Hex Crops | ♥ 1 | Pretty game! It took me a couple of rounds to get it well enough until I could beat the AI. It's possible to get to a point where you can't play any card due to lack of resource and the game has no way of handling this by passing it seems. Art is generally integrated pretty well except that some tiles have a different scale than others like the city looks too small compared to the trees in the forest. |
| Jan 15 23:19:42 | 1h 18m | H. R. Vest | ♥ 2 | Quite the fun adventure you crafted here. Legit some creepy moments with mr. wheat but the ending was kind of a nice comic relief as well. Though I wonder where the wheat creature went off to... Greg is a silly goober. |
