I'm going to need to wait until tomorrow to try this, as it's currently 11pm, but I absolutely LOVE the concept and the mechanic of sound as an input. I'll come back once I've played it tomorrow!

This is pretty cool game! Nice concept!
A truly unique mechanic! Loved it
Really fun concept! It's so late here, but I had to try it, so I set the shouting level lower :). I like the art, too. It was kinda funny to hear my voice back, I definately didn't expect that :D
Good game! Very creative idea, and the art is very cute! Keep up the good work :)
I love the concept, too bad for my neighbors :D
Great game idea! I love the use of the microphone, volume, and pitch.
Cute game! But i had problems with input
Cute and fun game! The graphics are well done. We had some initial problems with the micronphone settings. All in all, a solid and creative entry! :)
The concept is cool and very innovative. It's a nice idea to use voice but it didn't work very well so I could not relly control the apple, also the harshed feedback in the speakers felt really strange and I couldn't really appreciate the music with my shouts hahaha Maybe I could try to play it with a synthesizer ;)
It's very VERY cute. The voice thing feels like a gimmick but if not in a game jam when could you possibly do this. Really liked the execution. Art is 10/10. Great job.
Very cute indeed, and a lot of fun to yell at apples while in a voice call lol. Wish there was less delay on the voice stuff.
I've played on Windows since the Web build had too much trouble handling the mic.
This is a fun concept and the visual aspect itself is very good, with the apples' expressions as they fall, the bounciness of the rabbit and the guardian shouting. However the voice detection is a bit too unreliable for the gameplay to really work: there is usually a substantial delay before your shout affects the game, the audio feedback is sometimes very noisy, and a single shout is often recognized as two distinct bounces. I'm using a headset with a decent mic (Logitech Pro X) so my setup shouldn't cause any issues.
I think the idea is very good and I could definitely play an updated version with improved voice detection! I particularly like the idea of screaming in a higher pitch to bounce the apples higher, and I had fun with that. I think you could probably remove the audio feedback in the game (after the initial setup) since it's always a little weird to hear yourself. You could replace it with music!
Adorable game. Not sure if my neighbors agree though.
I can't play this right now but I gotta say, this looks like an amazing game! The art style is cartoony and cute! And I love the watercolour artwork too! It looks well-polished too with great-looking UI!
Great game!
I'm such a sucker for alternate control games, and the fact you got one made in the jam time frame is so impressive! The art is adorable and the music in the menus was really nice!
If you plan on taking this further, here are some thoughts: - I get the reason for no music and audio during the gameplay, but I miss it regardless. Especially when I have to hear my own voice, blech (lol). Rather than hearing my own voice, it would be cool to hear a roaring sound that maybe shifts in pitch to match my tone so there's still feedback on what I did? And of course some music would make things more exciting - I think offering some visual guidance on how to use your voice could be helpful. My immediate impression was that I could only shout once to shake things lose and the volume of that one shout was it. It would be cool to have prompts to do things like try to hit certain notes or make the player sing without realizing. At the moment it's completely up to the player and sometimes players aren't great at making their own fun (me included)
Great work!
It was an absolute blast to try shouting to control the game. I think microphone control is a great choice for this, because it is both somewhat readily available for a lot of people (unlike, say, VR support), but also pretty novel and a lot of fun to try out.
I did experience some strange latency issues and distortion with the audio--e.g. my voice would cut out pretty often, and it seemed like the audio would be delayed for a couple seconds before playing back...? I was using the downloaded version if it helps, although the web version seemed to have similar issues.
This did make it somewhat hard to intentionally control much, as the amount of time between when I would say something and when it would actually affect the game was longer than the period of time that it took apples to fall from the tree... so my best bet seemed to be to just continuously shout so that the apples would keep bouncing.
But it was still fun to play around with, and the graphics are gorgeous. The design of the monster is great -- it's just such a fun concept to have a shouting, apple harvesting monster.
Cool game concept, loved the art and animation put into this. Had some trouble with getting the microphone working. Would have loved to be able to get the full experience of the game
Game looks incredible, gui is really nice. I wish the pause screen had the a slightly upped aesthetic (just compared to everything else, still looks great). I couldn't get the microphone working for some reason. Cool concept. I hope audio games like this get better and better overtime. So my review is sort of a half review since I couldn't fully play the game. The movement was nice also.
Very interesting controls. Unfortunately they didn't work very well for me and my setup. I played the web-version with a single mic and headphones. While setting the level I could hear myself through the mic so it was the right mic selected, but there was a huge delay on the sound and it kept repeating itself and I had to put it on next to the background dB level for it to at all register shouts. Which meant that with the but of the sound coming back over and over made it so the big character kept screaming once I got it screaming and there really was no way of controlling it.
I managed to get some apples though and it was a very cute art-style to it too. The nice music at the start screen could well have continued in the background during the game too.
Again very interesting concept
The game looks amazing! I really don't want to listen to myself though. I tried bouncing the apples again and the flew so high I never saw them again... Game seems to work well besides that. Neat idea and implementation :)
I had to unplug my audio interface to get this to work as it seemed to always want to use that instead of my USB mic... Awesome art, and really fun idea, but wow didn't want to hear myself shout in strange delays and the delay was a bit weird, couldn't really control anything it felt like.
I really enjoyed the artstyle, very colorful, easily can be turn into an interactive game for younger kids. The game is solid, core loop should always strive to the easy to play and fast to learn and this one shows it. Nice entry.
This is my last game of LD! And what a creative little thing! I love the innovation in it even if it made me really die inside from awkwardly shouting at my laptop... I like it but i wouldn't recommend making it for mobile! Good luck with your scores and see you on the other side! :D.
