Oct 13 07:38:29 Unstable Vampire: A Text based Infinite Runner ♥ 0 Capture.PNG That was fun, had to play it twice =). I gave up after killing the last vampire, and saw more come out of the woodwork, and just let it eat me, I was too tired from all of the running. I love games I can play with keyboard only on my laptop while traveling, and this was a fun mashup of genres =).
Oct 13 07:56:53 18m 24s Unpredictable Processes ♥ 1 Neat little game, I made it all the way through, but just barely. The level where I had to go left after finally making all of the jumps to the right made me laugh =). Controls were pretty awkward, often didn't jump when I wanted it to.
Oct 13 08:08:55 12m 02s Harmono ♥ 1 Really cool, I felt like I was making music! I managed to beat all of the levels, would have enjoyed more =).
Oct 13 08:26:27 17m 32s Project Stallion / Zherebets Proyekta ♥ 1 Great! Love the humor. The random levels were a little frustrating, but I made it through them all. On the final level I clicked "end game" since it was right of a canister I needed to click on, and that was rather frustrating, to have to click back through to get to the appropriate level. Also, great to see a fast loading web game (not using Unity ^_^).
Oct 13 09:52:29 1h 26m Topplecrown ♥ 1 Good game, and challenging. I was unable to defeat the last level (on hard, not sure why I'd try anything else ^_^).
Oct 13 10:30:18 37m 49s Make Me Rich ♥ 1 That's the most stable housing market I've ever seen! I played with another player, but we got bored around turn 5... some random events that affected the different cities would have been good, otherwise there were not any particularly interesting choices it seemed. Whoever got the better cards seemed to win ^_^. I liked the simplicity of it for a multiplayer game, and no hand means no hidden information, it's a nice structure for a pass the mouse around game, although it would have been nice to be able to scroll the city list (or a quick city selector menu) with the mouse too.
Oct 14 07:27:07 20h 56m The Alchemyst ♥ 1 Neat little game, I enjoyed it, made it to the end, and made the world a better place.
Oct 14 14:42:14 7h 15m Sable Untangle ♥ 0 Fun game! I made it through all of the levels and wish there were a few more!
Oct 14 15:03:20 21m 06s The Ruins of Cuglatr 2 ♥ 1 Fun game! Way more narrative than I was expecting! I got the "turned off" ending. I really enjoy text-based games like this (even made one myself this time ^_^).
Oct 14 15:12:06 8m 46s Junta! Police State 1981 ♥ 1 Ah, plays just like my favorite game in the GTA series, but, thank goodness, fewer cars on the street =). I made it to day 10 before I decided the pedestrians would look best decorating my fender... Nice game, and the city felt big and alive, which is impressive =).
Oct 14 21:39:35 6h 27m Outstanding Acaipowered Spaceship ♥ 1 Fun game! I made it as far as the (first?) boss and died due to not realizing I was near my unstability limit - it would be really nice to have some stronger on-screen indicator of stability - ship flashing red or something when firing or getting hit will kill you, so you know to pick up the powerup or stop shooting. I enjoyed what I played, and liked the look and sounds, good job!
Oct 15 14:08:05 16h 28m Unstable Space ♥ 1 Nice job making an RTS on your first entry! I also did that on my first Ludum Dare... and then never again, LOL =). I enjoyed it, but ended up spending too much time zooming in and out and got frustrated. Felt like I got in a stalemate with the AI, neither of us making any headway, but only because I couldn't order my guys fast enough. Just a little more easy control - either selecting the ships from the zoomed out view, or some hotkeys, I think would have gone a long way. I did like the feel of expanding my builders to all of the nearby stars, but wish they would have kept doing stuff without me ^_^.
Oct 18 16:23:00 74h 14m Elemental Storm ♥ 0 Neat idea! I definitely struggled with the interface, would have been nice if clicking anywhere selected the closest guy instead of having to exactly click on the tiny, moving elements. Good music!
Oct 18 16:48:21 25m 21s Optimal Path ♥ 1 I ran into a bug where I earned the upgrades for additional miners, but they did not seem to show up, until I *accidentally* pressed escape, exited the program, game back in, and suddenly I had 5 miners as I expected! Managed to get the optimal path on at least the first world =). Really neat game, I enjoyed the progress and going back and getting all of the ore after unlocking a few upgrades. Even the first run through a planet was really difficult a few times, took me a *long* time to survive the second world, mostly due to my fighting with the jumping controls (once I learned to press `S` at the right times, it got easier). A little sound or more cohesive graphics would have helped the feel a lot, I think, but the gameplay was quite fun =).
Oct 18 16:58:03 9m 42s Sticky Wheel ♥ 1 That was pretty fun, and surprisingly engaging =). Everything, especially the plain wheel, felt a little more slippery than I'd expect. Music was simple, but fun too.
Oct 18 19:33:22 2h 35m Nuclear Disaster ♥ 1 I won, that was fun! My only complaint is when I enter a room with 3 bats, they shoot before I even see them, and it seems impossible to avoid the shots as I get hit before the screen even finishes scrolling... other than that, was pretty smooth sailing! Really nice graphics, everything felt fun and cohesive.
Oct 18 19:38:34 5m 12s How (Not) To Defuse Bombs ♥ 0 Nice game, really needs more levels, I breezed through them too quickly, only the third one seemed to require much thought (second one was great for teaching how not to defuse a bomb, though!).
Oct 18 20:02:23 23m 49s Unstabled Horse Game ♥ 1 My best score 35 seconds. I *really* couldn't figure out how to make the tail do anything, until I found your comment hidden in the middle of this, maybe update your entry description with how to make the tail move! I kept clicking and it just seemed to jitter around randomly. Nice sounds!
Oct 18 20:15:58 13m 35s Crumble ♥ 0 I also got stuck for a while on the level with the exploding `!`s outside the main area, as I always died before any of them exploded ^_^. I eventually beat all the levels though, nice game!
Oct 18 20:37:05 21m 07s Un Stable - Escape To Greener Pasture ♥ 0 The invisible map border near the end got me the first time, unexpectedly :(. I thought I was running to greener pastures! It took me quite a few tries before I realized I could disable the cowboys, and then I turtled my way to victory on the next run =). Neat game, good balance between speeds and energy usage.
Oct 18 20:55:23 18m 18s Garbostackers ♥ 1 Neat game! Nice graphics. The balancing and unstable-ness were really great. I got a little bored after a couple layers of my truck was full though, so it needed a little something more - each layer (or, completely different "levels") being a different shape, perhaps having some solid / unmoveable blocks would have changed things up a bit.
Oct 18 22:53:28 1h 58m PolitiGod ♥ 1 Neat game! I managed to win on my second try. On my first try, things moved *way* too quickly to figure anything out - could only read a couple tooltips before the year had ended and I'd lost my election, and had not yet figured out how approval even worked ^_^ - maybe it should pause while a tooltip is up, or something like that. Enjoyed it after figuring things out though.
Oct 18 23:07:22 13m 54s LD49: Homeward ♥ 1 ld.png So close! Neat game. Music was nice and atmospheric, and didn't get annoying. I enjoyed some of the events quite a bit =).
