| Apr 20 03:58:37 | Flower Picker | ♥ 3 | Loved the end! I collected 16 flowers, wasn't expecting that twist. I really liked the little background story told through the text, like someone saying "see you on Sunday." Made me think about who I was as the character. | |
| Apr 20 04:29:30 | 30m 53s | Human Spiderweb | ♥ 1 | Loved the sloshy sound effects and voice lines. It was a little hard to tell where the enemy was when I got killed some of the times, but fun gameplay! And creepy, good mood. |
| Apr 20 04:38:11 | 8m 41s | Emergency Override | ♥ 1 | This is so good!! The visual aesthetic you pulled off here is incredible, love the voiceover effects as well. I didn't realize that the bot was gonna be an enemy instead of a friend.. main mechanic of flipping binary switches very easy to understand and well designed. Overall super solid entry, I can tell you had fun making it :) |
| Apr 20 04:44:57 | 6m 46s | Do not venture into the darkness | ♥ 1 | This was a fantastic idea! I love the simple gameplay loop of needing to simultaneously stay close to the fire for protection but go farther and farther out to keep it going. I died with only one enemy left :( hahah. Graphics and audio worked well to convey the idea- I think that if the enemies had glowing eyes or something like that it would be have made the late stages of the game a little easier. I was forced to venture far out into the darkness pretty much blindly. But of course there's only so much you can do in 48 hours- great job! |
| Apr 20 04:48:48 | 3m 51s | BBYS | ♥ 1 | Very interesting concept! It took me a sec to realize I was supposed to push the bby towards the food, wish I see by the comments is a common thread hahah. Really liked the graphics and soundtrack, I think that's something most people didn't have time to get to. I thought that you were supposed to defend the bby by attacking the enemies, so my critical feedback would be to make the gameplay a bit more clear in terms of how to do things. Great job on the presentation! |
| Apr 20 04:56:05 | 7m 17s | just a boring topdown shooter | ♥ 3 | This was dope. Against all instructions, I decided to play the game. I love the relationship created between the player and narrator, that's some Stanley Parable shit. I didn't click the button, but after the narrator disappeared and I killed 100 agents, I decided the game was probably over. I gotta know, is there something that happens after that if you keep going?? Very fun experience, thanks for making. |
| Apr 20 05:11:48 | 15m 43s | Keep It Alive | ♥ 4 | THIS GAME IS FUCKING INSANE!! Made it to the end, incredible all the way through! I'm amazed you found time to include such a level of polish with visual and audio art, holy shit. The multitasking mechanics are very fun, love the UI visuals to keep track of while you pump away at the heart or help the train up a slope by pumping in coal. My favorite part was definitely the changes in steepness and scenery as you continue through. I'm not entirely sure what *that* was at the end... but I'll be thinking about it in a couple days, no doubt. The kind of game that stays with you. Best LDJAM game I've played. |
| Apr 20 05:21:36 | 9m 48s | Overthrone | ♥ 1 | Great game, congrats on your first release! 4 years ago I was 15 and making games too, keep going!! Loved the little juicy bits, like the squishy title screen text and the king bouncing on his throne. It was quite challenging, I think if the enemies dropped more $$ maybe it would be a bit easier? Wasn't sure how the towers were supposed to work, I bought one but couldn't tell what happened as a result. Great entry! |
| Apr 20 05:24:32 | 2m 56s | A World On Fire | ♥ 0 | This was straight up alarming, hahah! Loved the planets going around in the background. |
| Apr 20 05:28:25 | 3m 53s | Captain! Captain! | ♥ 2 | Damn this is a hard one! Really like how you use the same object for abilities and recharging. Very well polished and designed. |
| Apr 20 05:29:57 | 1m 32s | Akula | ♥ 2 | Link doesn't work :( |
| Apr 20 05:51:30 | 21m 33s | That's Crazy, What? | ♥ 2 | This is so goddamn intense hahah! |
| Apr 20 06:02:22 | 10m 52s | VAT - Very Astonishing Tubs | ♥ 1 | Super nice graphics! I liked the little blipped out privates hahah. |
| Apr 20 06:07:59 | 5m 37s | Keep HE alive | ♥ 1 | I couldn't get the second level to work! Maybe I just wasn't doing it right |
| Apr 20 06:17:30 | 9m 31s | ALIVE | ♥ 3 | Super interesting concept, I especially like the ability that let you see enemies through walls! |
| Apr 20 06:19:11 | 1m 41s | Just Fishing | ♥ 1 | The fishing rod visuals and physics(?) are soo incredible! Very impressive graphics. A nice calm little world to live in for a moment. |
| Apr 20 06:20:39 | 1m 28s | Beeeees | ♥ 2 | Cool stuff, reminded me of Super Crate Box. I dig the idea of having an invincible player with a vulnerable object being brought along. |
| Apr 20 06:23:31 | 2m 52s | Light in the Dark | ♥ 0 | Jump was a little dysfunctional but cool idea and good use of lighting! |
| Apr 20 06:28:38 | 5m 07s | Protect The Artifact | ♥ 1 | Nice reversal of the usual gameplay elements, with the player damaging enemies instead of vice versa! |
| Apr 20 06:55:15 | 26m 37s | Balloon Balloon! | ♥ 1 | Had to play solo but I remember doing this with my brother when we were little. |
| Apr 20 06:59:53 | 4m 38s | Egg Defender | ♥ 1 | I really love the movement, especially the jumping, kind of cool to see where you end up since you can't tell the depth. On the other hand, didn't feel like I moved fast / accurately enough to be able to stop the mean old dudes from smashing the egg.. |
| Apr 21 03:39:26 | 20h 39m | Disposed | ♥ 3 | Fun entry! Loved the camerawork and animations. I had some trouble using the movement to get where I wanted, and got stuck after I put the garbage in the garbage disposal and got my arm taken off in the door. I could put my memories on the usb but it wasn't clear what to do next, I tried clicking around on everything with the objects I had. Loved the humor and mood though, if this were a bit more polished it would be an incredible entry! |
| Apr 21 03:43:31 | 4m 05s | File Survival | ♥ 1 | Super dope entry, I love the idea! Took some runs to get used to, but the way all of the elements of desktop apps were implemented was genius. High marks all around. |
| Apr 23 23:44:21 | 68h 00m | Save the Fish | ♥ 1 | The way I actually suck at simon says |
| Apr 23 23:54:19 | 9m 58s | Retrobulbar | ♥ 3 | This was fucking crazy!! Reminded me of Manifold Garden, incredible central mechanic. So impressive that you were able to design this for a jam! |
| Apr 24 08:53:45 | 8h 59m | FlameOver | ♥ 1 | Lovin those top down graphics! |
| Apr 25 01:45:31 | 16h 51m | Gregg | ♥ 1 | Hung out with these guys in the stream for a bit while they were working, super nice dudes!! Congrats on finishing the game, was hyped to see what you added since I saw the in development version. That voxel art's still killin it! |
| Apr 25 02:20:53 | 35m 22s | Shapes | ♥ 1 | This is a great entry!! I love the elasticity of firing the teleporter, it was super satisfying. |
| Apr 25 15:53:37 | 13h 32m | Potater Toss | ♥ 2 | I smashed my tater!! |
| Apr 25 21:29:46 | 5h 36m | Lighthouse | ♥ 2 | Dope style!! Big points on the atmosphere and mood. |
| Apr 27 18:48:02 | 45h 18m | Hot Day | ♥ 2 | Very cool mechanic, love the art as well. It was fun to see your development process in the devlog, I felt a personal connection the game once I played it hahah! |
