| May 1 10:39:01 | PogoPogo | ♥ 4 | This is a really fun game, and looks and sounds great. I really want to go to this gig, it has a great atmosphere! | |
| May 1 10:47:50 | 8m 49s | The Deep | ♥ 2 | This is a really slick game with a great atmosphere and feel. It actually really feels like you are piloting something weighty and unwieldy (but not so unwieldy it is not fun :D), and I think that contributes to the sense of crampedness and oppression. It is also, however, incredibly intuitive! The minimalistic art and palette are really effective as well. |
| May 1 11:30:44 | 42m 54s | Sling Ship 🌏 | ♥ 1 | Tough, but very satisfying when you finally release the tractor beam at exactly the right moment! |
| May 1 12:02:17 | 31m 33s | Smalltrek | ♥ 1 | Everything about this game is amazing. Fun parody, great art, excellent music, and an amount of compelling gameplay that would be impressive for a jam entry, never mind a compo one. 👍👍 |
| May 1 12:21:25 | 19m 08s | Come on, barbarian! | ♥ 3 | Fun stuff, really great art and music! My only criticism is that dying and killing both kind of lack impact a bit - they could do with a substantial sound effect or something. It's funny seeing them being dragged up though :) |
| May 1 14:01:02 | 1h 39m | Her name | ♥ 3 | Very poignant and interesting take on the theme. The art was great, but was blurry when displayed, which detracted from it somewhat. The music was really good though, and enhanced the mood of the story very well. |
| May 1 14:15:22 | 14m 20s | Crumble Crust | ♥ 2 | That is a lot of fun! I made it to the blue layer at one point. It's a shame you had to opt out of the audio category because the music is really good. The art and animation are really great as well, very colourful and bouncy. |
| May 1 14:50:18 | 34m 56s | Six Degrees of Separation Between Me and the Party | ♥ 2 | I like this take on the theme, it seems to me that it has multiple dimensions :) Really great art, music and dialogue. I was only able to find two of the endings, neither of which were me making friends with Rockin' Dave. |
| May 1 18:07:01 | 3h 16m | It's a Small World | ♥ 1 | STOP OFFERING ME HATS!!! No, great idea! I found the screen being split in two very satisfying, but I couldn't get my brain or fingers to cooperate with the four-way split screen. But, that's a me problem... |
| May 1 18:30:34 | 23m 33s | A World In Her Eye | ♥ 1 | What a lovely little story! Sound, music, art, all excellent and atmospheric. I'm not sure the real-time aspect adds much except to make everything feel rushed. Maybe that was the point? To reinforce the fleeting nature of the encounter? |
| May 1 18:49:08 | 18m 34s | Yours | ♥ 1 | Chunky Charlie Simulator 2017. I like it, it is very relaxing, really nice music. |
| May 1 19:02:40 | 13m 32s | Trapped in Engineering - My Game first time | ♥ 1 | I like the idea of an abusive monster captain in the Star Trek universe, fun! |
| May 1 19:06:44 | 4m 04s | Floraison | ♥ 2 | Looks amazing, I would like to try it but no Mac version :( |
| May 2 14:23:10 | 19h 16m | Game of Worlds | ♥ 2 | There's a bit of a flaw in this game's design in that once you find the exit you can just hang out there and go to it as soon as the sun sets. The idea of a day night cycle where you prepare during the day is cool though, as is the idea of collecting "friends" to use as bait! The art and music are really nice as well. |
| May 2 14:43:43 | 20m 33s | Three of you. | ♥ 1 | Really nice art style! It's a shame about the lack of sound and music. I'm not sure what my two friends contributed either except to get in my way when I accidentally tried to go between two obstacles without enough space between them. Were you planning to make them switchable or something? |
| May 2 14:56:17 | 12m 34s | MicroCHIP | ♥ 1 | I couldn't figure out how to beat the last level, but overall this is a fun game, and the art is really great. |
| May 2 15:15:43 | 19m 26s | Hibernaculum | ♥ 1 | The rotation reset is a bit finicky. Preferable I think would be if it just said "eh, close enough", and put you where you were trying to get to, even if your feet are not entirely above the box or whatever. Other than that minor annoyance, however, this is a really excellent game. Great concept, great art style and graphics, and great music. I really wanted to play a few more levels! |
| May 2 15:20:55 | 5m 12s | My Very Own World | ♥ 0 | The Mac build doesn't seem to work, or I'm not sure how to open it... |
| May 2 15:39:02 | 18m 07s | A Bloody Small World | ♥ 2 | So THAT's how it works! Great game, it feels really good zooming through the body on an urgent oxygen delivery mission. My class skived off early though, and my human died shortly after I beat the game. Stay in school, kids. |
| May 2 17:40:31 | 2h 01m | Totally not a Robot | ♥ 0 | Funny and challenging, good job! |
| May 2 17:51:17 | 10m 46s | Moon Dozer | ♥ 1 | Very cathartic! |
| May 2 18:24:58 | 33m 41s | SUPER METROARIO | ♥ 1 | I guess I didn't read the description properly before I started, because the zooming in on Mario's head really took me by surprise! This was a really neat idea and I found the exploration compelling, but it is let down by the jump physics and slow, slippy movement. I got into the "thank you" room after only having collected two items. I would be eager to start again from the start if the movement was better. |
| May 2 19:57:12 | 1h 32m | Graphite | ♥ 1 | Really amazing art style! The gameplay is a little too hard I think. Maybe having a bit more knockback from the melee attack would help, or a faster recharge of the health and mana? I enjoyed it in any case, it is very well put together and a great take on the theme. |
| May 2 20:06:49 | 9m 37s | Star Traveller | ♥ 5 | Really lovely experience, well done. |
| May 2 20:17:09 | 10m 20s | Sillyzilla Rampage | ♥ 2 | This game has a great feel, and is really fun. It reminds me of missile command a little bit in how you have to anticipate the incoming enemies. But the art style really captures the feel of old monster movies as well! |
| May 2 20:22:50 | 5m 41s | Le Petit Shooter | ♥ 4 | Wow this looks amazing! I better make a friend so I can play it! |
| May 2 21:55:32 | 1h 32m | Naziverse | ♥ 1 | The constant bullets are a bit hard to dodge, but once you get the hang of it it's fun. Nice art too, and the music suits well, though if you didn't make it during the jam I don't think you should be rated in audio... |
| May 7 20:53:30 | 118h 57m | Alone | ♥ 1 | That's a mighty fine game you've made there. At first I thought it was a shame the music from the menu disappeared, but then I realised that there was a good reason for that and it worked really well. Some sound effects would really have perfected the audio though, some nice echoey footsteps or something. I have some issues with the controls as well - I think space should be jump, and w to change rooms, and dismissing the text boxes was weird. Great game overall though, it really had me scratching my head in the adventure game tradition! |
| May 7 21:25:59 | 32m 29s | Crater Creator | ♥ 2 | Oh man that "4 years later" gag - so good! As is the game as a whole, very engrossing. The graphics are simple, but spot on really - nothing to distract from the trajectory indicators which are both a clever mechanic and gorgeous in their own right. Good job! |
| May 8 20:47:43 | 23h 21m | Murder Mitosis | ♥ 2 | Well that is incredibly fun and polished, well done! |
| May 8 21:06:39 | 18m 56s | Interplanetary Billiards | ♥ 0 | That's really fun, and I love the aesthetic. My high score was 14000 I think. I would have gotten higher but one stubborn planet skipped past the black hole twice in a row! |
| May 9 22:23:03 | 25h 16m | Fancy meeting you here | ♥ 1 | Appropriately horrifying. I really liked the art, the audio, and the random phrase generator that produced some weird stuff. I found the space-mouth game very hard to control though - too slow and spinny, and no clear indication of which way is forwards! I really like your interpretation of the theme as well. It is not one that I have seen many people tackle. |
| May 12 14:55:32 | 64h 32m | Pity About Earth... | ♥ 2 | Phew, that's intense! I would prefer that the missiles just go in a direction until they hit something, as they are I did not find them very useful. Great game though, very satisfying to deflect a big wave of asteroids, and that soundtrack is amazing! |
| May 12 15:11:51 | 16m 19s | Nightwards, Heartwards | ♥ 2 | Very interesting concept, and beautifully executed. |
| May 12 15:32:16 | 20m 25s | Small Steps | ♥ 1 | A lovely piece of interactive art, I like it a lot. The characters are amazingly distinct and fleshed out despite the brief glimpses we get of them. I would like to have some plot tie them together in the end, but it's definitely something I can appreciate for what it is. |
| May 12 20:40:38 | 5h 08m | Feather Fighter | ♥ 2 | I really dig the art, music and sound, but I found it kind of hard to play. I think the main problem for me was not being able to move while aiming up - and I was almost always aiming up! So I was just constantly stopping and repositioning. And if you end up on one of the lower platforms you basically just have to wait until the enemies fly over you. It's a good concept though, and fun overall! |
| May 17 20:18:50 | 119h 38m | Small World Mining Company | ♥ 0 | I don't like that the enemy movements are so unpredictable (so it seemed to me anyway!) with no way to combat them. It seemed like it was just luck whether you ran into them or managed to get past them on some of the tighter areas of the levels. I really liked the game otherwise though. Something about navigating the cart was very satisfying, as was hauling things back to the ship, and the art was really cute. |
| May 18 21:59:30 | 25h 40m | Monochrome Perspectives | ♥ 0 | I really like the direction this was going - the art and music especially were really nice. Unfortunately I kept getting stuck when going into a particular room so I did not get very far. Some of the rooms seem quite punishingly hard as well. I would definitely like to play a version of this after a bit more development, if you decide to take it further. |
| May 18 22:10:25 | 10m 55s | s-mol | ♥ 0 | I had no idea what I was doing, but I enjoyed it thoroughly! |
| May 19 16:40:47 | 18h 30m | 1964 World's Fair Engineer | ♥ 1 | I really like the art and the concept. I feel like the need to have a special card in order to move other cards was a bit restrictive though. Any "utilities" I bought were only useful by chance because if that, it seemed to me. With a few tweaks I would love to play some more of this though, as it already seems to have a lot of depth to it. |
| May 19 16:57:02 | 16m 15s | Cryofailure | ♥ 0 | Some nice humorous touches in there! The zero gravity environment looks like a lot of fun to play around in. |
