| Apr 29 12:30:00 | We Dreamers | I really enjoyed my play session. Had a good time reading all kind of different messages and just messing around.
I love the collaborative stuff and the openness. Art is cool and the sound is charming. It is also a nice piece of tech. | |
| Apr 29 12:49:00 | 19m 00s | Minimalist Dungeon | I got pretty involved early game - except for those helper texts.
It took my quite a while to beat level 6. The ammo runs out quickly. But yeah, I do miss a handful of shots :(
Other than that I enjoyed it! Played several runs. |
| Apr 29 12:55:00 | 6m 00s | PONK | Pretty neat. Congratz for this prod. |
| Apr 29 13:18:00 | 23m 00s | The Migration | Cool game! First run was a disaster. Second run I almost managed to make it around the globe. Ha!

I really like it so you can go coast to coast (the minimap + the map after you finish you session are refreshing). It does gets harder when you hit open water... pretty easy to lose all your fishies if you go crazy.
Fun.
At first, looking at the screenshots, the game reminded me of Aquaria Game. Then, when I actually got into the game the gameplay reminded me the first level of Spore.
Overall it feels good and relaxing. |
| Apr 29 13:40:00 | 22m 00s | OCDC | I loved the pace of this game. Before I joined the game I was already expecting it to be hard - because you told me so :) - and I find it is Challenging.
I completed all 12 levels and I wouldn't say it was hard.
The levels are elegant. Wish there were more to play.
Well done! |
| Apr 29 14:02:00 | 22m 00s | THE POTATO GAME | So this is what a potato farming simulator is about.
Humorous! |
| Apr 29 14:18:00 | 16m 00s | Farmer Joe Animal Farm | I laughed hard when the wolf first took away one of my sheep. Funny moments! |
| Apr 29 14:36:00 | 18m 00s | I Dream In Color | Pretty weird creatures ... I like it!
I couldn't get past the Blue Level though. The one where The Mouth is on the bottom left. |
| Apr 29 15:21:00 | 45m 00s | Gallery | I like the way you set the mood to the player (through text and breaks).
Very challenging puzzles (spent a good while on that 8-figure-like level and 10min+ on the last one).

After several plays you start to the get feel for it and you start to find logical paths to solve the puzzles.
Art is great. Music reminds me of a Hellraiser kind of thing. Really creepy yet engaging.
Awesome experience! |
| Apr 29 16:45:00 | 1h 24m | MBlok | I like the gravity affectors twist on there. The art does a nice touch over all atmosphere. Good stuff |
| Apr 29 16:56:00 | 11m 00s | i need to lie down | I felt intrigued with this. Anxiety and feel for movement is some of the words for my experience.

I dig the art style and I find this game overall very well executed. |
| Apr 29 17:04:00 | 8m 00s | llab | Controlling the ball is all cool, except when it is either accelerated or bouncing high. Feels odd to keep on fine controlling it.

Also, I feel sad when you get into a pit and have to go all the way back. Overall very fun experience! |
| Apr 29 17:33:00 | 29m 00s | You are the Minimalist | Took quite a while to master the controls. Specially how to minimally place the cubes right on the second challenge.
That was a nice playthrough. Too bad I couldn't get past the fourth one.
It is indeed a nice game concept. |
| Apr 29 17:46:00 | 13m 00s | Greyspace | Good atmosphere. The controls are a tad sensible but they sure feel good for the purpose.

Only find disturbing that the music loop resets at the beginning of each room.
Overall good experience. |
| Apr 29 17:59:00 | 13m 00s | Stroid | Took me a while to realize where I was, controls and what not but I got the hang of it.
It would be even nicer if you could pile up space junk as well and grow bigger.
That would do some crazy damage to that poor human civ :) |
| Apr 29 18:18:00 | 19m 00s | Plex | Really interesting animations. Depressing music, though.
Upon level completion you could've just skipped straight ahead to the next unlocked level. It'd lead to a smoother experience in my opinion.

I find the spacebar mechanic a cool idea but I don't get it to the full. Also, it freezes me in place if I don't "hit" it correctly - it gives me the beep sound. If only it didn't freeze me in place I could just learn it by testing and brute force with no further instructions, I suppose.

I played a handful of levels. Very good level design on there. It is always tricky to get good levels on a puzzle game after all. Well done. |
| Apr 29 18:44:00 | 26m 00s | Potatoroids | Haha Potatoes everywhere!
I read Lunar lander but I had to go hard crash my ship in order to believe it. Really good mash-up... works great. |
| Apr 29 19:17:00 | 33m 00s | SpaceGeometry : The Arcade Version | I really dig the music and controls are just fine.

Sometimes the collision detection doesn't seem to response accordingly (especially on the Red enemy). The bullets happen to go pass through the enemy target.
Also, I missed a replay/retry/play again button at the end. |
| Apr 29 19:43:00 | 26m 00s | Press Z | Only managed to get until Level 6...90 or so to stomp if I remember correctly. I've done a couple different runs.
I got beat really hard off some really fast flying enemy that pushed me off the screen! That was brutal :)

Anyways, stomping enemies feels good refreshing. Good stuff! |
| Apr 29 19:51:00 | 8m 00s | Zmore | That was a fun little experience! Quite refreshing for some reason. |
| Apr 29 20:11:00 | 20m 00s | Grid Blaster | Nice arena shooter with that hole-twist-thing.
Would be nice if you happened to animate the grid lines. |
| Apr 30 02:58:00 | 6h 47m | Floating Point | Wow pretty inventive implementation. I like how you managed to get a two-sided view of a 'single world' that way.
Very charming art style as well.

I'm not really into this game genre but this one caught me for quite a while. Haven't finished it though.

Muito bom! |
| Apr 30 03:12:00 | 14m 00s | Starvin Stu's Spud Farm | Does the game ends somehow? I did not managed to beat it.
Planted and collected loads of potatoes, after a good while messing around with the interface buttons to figure out how stuff works.
Only after I was about to quit the game I found out there is a help screen when you hit Pause/Esc. Phew.

Anyway I had some fun.
Still missed sounds on my end. Would have been nice. |
| Apr 30 03:32:00 | 20m 00s | QbQbQb | The music is definitively spot on 'minimalistic'. I love how it builds up.
The mechanics are simple and everything fits very nicely. Graphics are very detailed, yet small. I like the particle thingies floating around.

One thing that I thought was weird is that when you hit P it freezes the game but you can still move around.

I gave up at around 800 points but it is a smooth experience. Good job. |
| Apr 30 03:39:00 | 7m 00s | [[[[ | Hey this is not bad at all. The game concept is there.
Put in more hours on the dev side of things and I bet you will find out a way to take it to a better experience.

It is laggy for me as well when there are more than 6 elements on the screen. |
| Apr 30 03:45:00 | 6m 00s | hru | Simple mechanics heavily tied with good aesthetics and sound. Really smooth after I got the hang of the input. |
| Apr 30 04:07:00 | 22m 00s | MiniCave | At first glance I was intrigued by the player mechanics. Only after a couple mins I was able to move around in a decent way. It was cool.
I bet implementing a game with this kind of chaotic control scheme/mechanic is not an easy task! |
| Apr 30 05:33:00 | 1h 26m | Save the Potato, Save the world. | You nailed the core platformer mechanics on there. Solid gameplay.
I think that the art side of things really pumped the overall aspect of the game. Very funny at various points as well. Good Job |
| Apr 30 05:48:00 | 15m 00s | Zombie Blocks Attack | Music is pretty inventive :)

The controls are good.
Weird thing is that I managed to survive standing still at a random point on the map. I beat the game without doing much (killed half a dozen baddies).
Also, when I stop the music I can't manage to turn it back on. |
| Apr 30 05:56:00 | 8m 00s | IAO | The music and sounds fit the concept very well. It is rather catchy to keep on toggling to collect/avoid stuff. Challenging game! |
| Apr 30 06:13:00 | 17m 00s | A fish called Revenge | Overall aspects are pretty nice. The game plays well. The intro art really caught my attention!

Couple of things I stumbled on during my playthrough:
I find it a tad hard to keep up distance. The attack range is not that great. On top of that when I stop going forward it continues to go on for a bit. That usually leads to several unintentional damage to my green bar :(

I managed to get out of the game area as well, just like one could do in Super Mario Bros 1 to reach the warp zone! |
| Apr 30 06:29:00 | 16m 00s | ITTEN | Overall aesthetic and atmosphere is great! I feel what you went for on there.
However, I don't really dig the stop-to-jump mechanic. Even more so over those small holes where I'd hit the head on the wall repeatedly.

I know you probably wanted that slow pace but I really think that I should be able to jump while running. |
| Apr 30 13:00:00 | 6h 31m | The Gallery | It is always fun to shoot stuff up on a physics based environment.

I had some performance issues on my laptop. At the beginning of each level the framerate drops to the ground. Suddenly after the first shot it goes OK.
Lacks sound on my end (tried both WIndows and Web). |
| Apr 30 14:15:00 | 1h 15m | The Room | The game took several minutes to load and after that it failed (most probably crashed the plugin). So I played the Windows version. I have to state the obvious but the package is pretty heavyweight.

Onto the game:
The intro sound is pretty engaging. I missed it after the game started.
At first I thought it was a bad joke but when the room first changed I thought: "Well that was sweet!"
That is so much content that I sure passed by a lot of it just randomly pressing that button too fast.

One of the floating texts says: "It is an exercise". You bet! |
| Apr 30 14:27:00 | 12m 00s | The Road | Very hard game. But wait... Life is no easy task, right.
I can certainly live longer if I play slow, but it ain't no fun right? I need the speed! So I just keep my right arrow key button down and try my best. Too bad I died when I was 10 by laughing too hard watching Louis CK.

I like it the way you kind of animated the character walking and jumping. Adds up to the cool and fun factor.

Pretty humorous game as well |
| Apr 30 14:37:00 | 10m 00s | Maximus Minimalist | The main concept is good, yet a bit off the theme.
The controls feel a bit weird at times and the collision response on the blocks is awkward. I don't really get what the tiger does. |
| Apr 30 15:05:00 | 28m 00s | Defender. | I really loved the overall aesthetic on there. Game Boy!
The game is certainly hard even after playing it for quite some time. The aim is just... well.. plain hard
Core mechanics are simple and effective.
Wish I could easily replay the level since I got beaten so bad several times. |
| Apr 30 15:39:00 | 34m 00s | Light the way | OK after 110+ deaths I couldn't get past a certain level. Blocks kept pushing me away.

So... good use of simple mechanics make this game an engaging experience.
I like it how the rules appear to be evolving in each new room.

The difficulty is right on. It is pretty challenging.
Also, the soundtrack is catchy! |
| Apr 30 17:44:00 | 2h 05m | The Choices We Make | I really what you mean on this piece. I dig the concept.
The ambience is kinda creepy, in a good sense.

The sound loop is too short and gets repetitive easy. Also, The lack of instructions sure hurt my experience since it took me a while to figure things out. |
| Apr 30 17:56:00 | 12m 00s | Approximately pi over two | Wow there are actually lots of interesting elements and possible combinations on there.
Indeed it has got potential to make up a puzzle game |
| Apr 30 18:36:00 | 40m 00s | Minimalistic Shooter | The controls are good except for something on the mouse+WSAD stuff. They seem to conflict with each other.
I would put some work on the background as well (random colored bg would do the trick). Keep it up |
| Apr 30 19:12:00 | 36m 00s | soundscape | I didn't really find it difficult at all. It was amazing to explore!
I got the hang of it pretty quickly. The hints you have left under the description are enough for finding out what is is about. Very good experience |
| Apr 30 19:24:00 | 12m 00s | Tana | Pretty good take on ASCII art. Definitely an all-around minimalistic approach on there.
Short and intriguing. |
| Apr 30 19:45:00 | 21m 00s | Prism | If I randomly tweak the knobs I can eventually get the answer but I tend not to do that.
I did approached it more as a puzzle and I found it great. This is a pretty clever implementation overall. Music is great! |
| Apr 30 20:05:00 | 20m 00s | Vineyard Adagio | I really wish the controls were better, especially the bush/tile placement. The concept seems interesting. A zen garden came to my mind right at the beginning. A tad confusing though, even after spending quite some time on it. |
| Apr 30 20:14:00 | 9m 00s | Colourless | I really like the decision making on there (shrink/grow). Seems like a dilemma for me, every second. Trade-offs and counters, changing plans every time to stay alive.

The game scales up quite nicely with such a simple mechanic.

I missed music and sounds. It'd add up quite a bit to the overall experience. |
| Apr 30 21:35:00 | 1h 21m | SquareRoot | Definitely minimalistic visuals. Interesting music.

Core mechanics are solid but the controls feel too slippery for me. I had a hard time trying pixel perfect movements, making the overall experience very hard.
That seems to be what you wanted, so good job on there. |
| Apr 30 22:17:00 | 42m 00s | The Void | Ew, the thing is creepy!
I played no lights/fullscreen and it was pretty interesting, to say the least.

Improvements I would say add a button to skip the intro sequence. Everytime I retry the game it plays back again.

Pretty athmospheric. |
| Apr 30 23:48:00 | 1h 31m | Prisma | So yeah... 1 hour in to beat this game.
I really, really didn't excepted this to be that much engaging.
This is simply the best puzzle I've played around here.

It is hard but incredibly rewarding.
If you happen to think the game is either slow or keeps restarting, just hang on it. Stick to it you will eventually find out.

The sound fits the concept and the overall design is very well thought. Good Job and keep on it. |
| May 1 00:10:00 | 22m 00s | Rokhopr | Managed to hit 6660 points (no jokes on the number please).
The controls are utterly weird. Anyway I enjoyed my session, constantly fighting against the control mechanic. It was fun |
| May 1 00:23:00 | 13m 00s | unessential | EEEEEYOOOOOO !!

This game is hella fun like I said before. I really loved the sounds! Awesome creation |
| May 1 02:23:00 | 2h 00m | Katana Senpou | The art is gorgeous. Overall aesthetics are sweet.
I find it pretty humorous too. Had a good laugh when I first read rocku, papperu and scizoru on there. |
| May 1 02:36:00 | 13m 00s | Minima World | Arrow keys are way too sensitive and slippery for proper play IMO.
It's OK to be hard but this is way too brutal.
I really dig it, don't get me wrong on there. IMO if you improve the controls a just a tad it would be a massive improvement to the overall experience. |
| May 1 02:49:00 | 13m 00s | Pipe Dreams | The color powers are a nice addition to the standard mechanic. I really liked the yellow one. It is cool to rush the level falling and jumping.
Talking about the jump, the controls are spot on. Well done. |
| May 1 03:06:00 | 17m 00s | Hexzilla | The game is overall very polished, especially the GUI. Pretty smooth experience.
I spent quite a few time on it; pretty good game session.

Only complaint is that the mouse wheel should be inverted IMO (scroll up when zooms in).
Keep it up |
| May 1 03:16:00 | 10m 00s | Nerdogochi | I think it was a bit off the theme but that was a nice little idea. I had some fun and a good laugh too.
Also, I like it when it says "There are only 3 Star Wars movies"! Hahaha |
| May 1 12:04:00 | 8h 48m | Pillow Pets | The art is the biggest point on there. The music sure fits the game well.

Kinda weird at first. I think that there are way too many minimals on the screen at once.
I can't seem handle so many deaths at once :( |
| May 1 12:51:00 | 47m 00s | TunnelVision | This game is certainly good. I like the feel when I hit highspeed. On top of that, the music adds up quite nicely.
I like the graphics choices a lot. Colors and meshes included.

Sometimes I got a weird feeling on very steep curves... either the controls were slow for that maneuver or the camera was not catching up fast enough. I can't say exactly what it is.

Notes for improvements:
* inverted pitch controls (default/option)
* metrics ASAP. Keep track of your tests data so that you can build up your game content (medals, rewards, what not) on top of that |
| May 1 13:24:00 | 33m 00s | Abstract | I managed to hit Influential popularity. Fun times.

The score system is sure catching, just like the general art pricing in real life.
The music fits the game really well. Very creative entry. |
| May 1 14:15:00 | 51m 00s | Iceberg Explorer | The exploration thing is cool. Had good time hoping around the map. Sad thing I haven't found the potato.
Overall the game looks good and it is a nice piece of tech. |
| May 1 14:34:00 | 19m 00s | Evil cubes | Quite hard game at first but I dig the concept!

The movements feels a bit slippery. Often times one needs finer controls to dodge properly.

It seems to be possible to shoot only at a very short range. That makes being hit by shards quite an easy feat.
Would be of great feedback to the player if you added some kind of visual hint on every mouse action. |
| May 1 14:57:00 | 23m 00s | Minimal ComplexiMolTato | I only managed to get to level 4 on there.
It would be nice to add an item that you should not hit, to break the games flow here and there. Otherwise it is just a matter of hitting the right button every time.

Nonetheless this is a cool entry.
Really liked the control scheme. Would be good if you managed to mirror the controls to the left side of the keyboard as well for left-handed people and laptop users. |
| May 1 16:10:00 | 1h 13m | BLM | First impression: Lots of on screen text! Oh my...
I think the rules are solid. I don't think the text is really needed on there. You could've just let the player find it out!
The practice stage idea is neat, anyway. Good!

I would say that aliasing WASD to Arrow Keys would be a nice addition. Took my a while to get used with WASD+space and arrow keys would certainly help on there. It felt rather uncomfortable by the end of my play session.

The graphics are really cool and the music fits your aesthetic quite nicely.

I didn't manage to pass level 27. I tried several ways and approaches. I die after the first or second kill.

+1 for C source code. I skimmed through and the code structure surprisingly looks quite nice. Also GL immediate mode is not for the faint-hearted! :D |
| May 1 18:59:00 | 2h 49m | flee the inevitable | Even though the music is slow, it somehow fits manages to fit in. It is pleasing.

The collision detection is very forgiving and the character avatar is somewhat intriguing. I liked it. |
| May 1 19:28:00 | 29m 00s | Space Captant | Pretty fun little game. I would really appreciate more if there were more clear goals and objectives on there. Other than that it was a good experience |
| May 1 22:08:00 | 2h 40m | Schokoffel | I like the idea a lot. Right, it sure is simple but
it can make you think about several things in real life, if happen go down that route. |
| May 2 03:31:00 | 5h 23m | Rhythm Serenade | Liked the general concept, at least the parts I figured out.
Must confess I didn't get it all.

The collision bounds often times are unexpected. The collision detection in general seems pretty unforgiven. Maybe it is the controls, I'm not sure. |
| May 2 03:46:00 | 15m 00s | Rebellion: Resistance of Complacency | Music reminds me of very old arcade shmups! The rest is pretty much touhou.
I think the waves should've been easier at the beginning.
The bullet patterns are way brutal right off the start that I had to had several tries to get the feel of controls.

A reset after game over is definitely needed. |
| May 2 03:54:00 | 8m 00s | BLOBGLOBS | The art is rather interesting.
Missed feedback status on # plays, deaths, anything would do to give a sense of progress.
But hey, it is minimalism, right. |
| May 2 04:10:00 | 16m 00s | Pencil (OUYA) | The idea is cool but the controls make the experience not that great.
I would add visual cues on there, so that it would help the the player out e.g. warning upcoming treats, tips, instant challenges |
| May 2 04:21:00 | 11m 00s | Reach the Moon | I had fun with this puzzly entry. Too bad it is short.
I would say the beginning is so boring and grindy I almost gave up. Anyway it is worth the run!
Missed some background music to add on the mood though |
| May 2 04:37:00 | 16m 00s | Minimum Score | This game is crazy. It seems to me that the less you do, the better. So yeah, I really tried to get the point of the game but I'm not sure. Would be cool if there was either more info or tutorials on there.
Nevertheless I had fun for a short period of time. |
| May 2 12:07:00 | 7h 30m | Russian Blob | Really nice entry!
The level design is good and the game is fun. Very good take on game mechanics.
I didn't expected the sound effects to be so funny. I had a good laugh when I first died! |
| May 2 12:36:00 | 29m 00s | Citsilaminim | The game is interesting but there are some mechanics I really don't get it, especially at the beginning of the game.

On the suggestion side of things I would increase the player movement speed or give the player the ability to run (on key press or after a short period of time pressing the arrow key).
The level design is OK but the dark atmosphere/color pallete makes it a bit too dark. I would add more vibrant colors to make it smoother to the eyes.

I happened to get stuck inside a dynamic platform. Luckily I got out after it disappeared. |
| May 2 13:12:00 | 36m 00s | Spread | The game is good overall. Even more when you start growing your seeds.

Notes:
* There is only one way to plant the blue ones. Pretty hard as well.
* I wish there were more seeds in the world. The world is fairly large.
* The white seed seems impossible. I had a time where one just rushed away from my screen as soon as I broke the box. Another time where I did manage to get it but after I tried to place it, it flew right away in opposite wind direction.
* I would take extra care on the wind controls. Either you need to give the play a hint on where the seeds are or something else.

Keep it up since it is a pretty good concept. |
| May 2 14:15:00 | 1h 03m | _M_ | Interesting frame/window size.
I like the games simplicity and flow. The mechanics make me feel like I am playing with a safe lock or something, trying desperately to find my way out.
Game state reset is flawless, pretty cool.
The puzzle is very interesting, took me quite a bit to figure it out. Well done. |
| May 2 14:57:00 | 42m 00s | CIRCLE SQUARE TRIANGLE | Wow this really fits the theme. Very nice take on rock paper scissor, indeed!
It actually took me quite some time to get faster on it. I kept screwing up at the beginning, for some reason :)
Flawless execution of a well thought design. |
| May 2 15:10:00 | 13m 00s | Minimal Hero | I managed to get to the level you pointed out on the second screenshot (the green one).
I would say the controls need more work. They are way unresponsive at the moment, especially the Jump.
The concept is good. |
| May 2 15:12:00 | 2m 00s | consequences | I dig the artistic feel on there. The level design is interesting, so say the least.
The game boundaries are non-existent which makes it easy to cheat, I suppose.
The gameplay was OK. |
| May 2 15:20:00 | 8m 00s | 16 | Both concept and execution are great!

The music is awesome.
I do prefer playing it without any shop-items, even though there are places you cannot win at then end of the day. But hey, that's part of the deal.
Had great fun! |
| May 2 16:49:00 | 1h 29m | Colossal Clean-Up | The game plays well. The art nice and the music fits the game theme.
The control scheme is good and feels OK.
Would be cool if you had a weight/size pickup limit. That way the X button would have more uses. That would certainly change the core gameplay a bit (timelimit), so yeah. |
| May 2 17:00:00 | 11m 00s | Dream Fishing | The game sure fits the theme well. I liked how the fishing rod plays quite well.
The sound is certainly charming.
Pretty much zen fishing :) |
| May 2 17:16:00 | 16m 00s | Meat Meets Potatoes | Nice take on endless run type of thing. There's a nice humorous touch on those projectiles.

I happened to reach a platform I couldn't reach with the jump. It was a tad farther than needed. Maybe it was really impossible, I'm not sure. |
| May 2 17:27:00 | 11m 00s | Bird's Eyes | Wow the music is pretty weird but catchy. The art fits your game theme well.

The concept is OK but the control mechanics don't really seem to be right there. Especially when the bar runs out, the bird feel like weighs tons and you cant keep up flapping. |
| May 2 17:43:00 | 16m 00s | ... | Very cool puzzle game. I managed to beat it I just don't know if I did find the secret. Probably not, right.
Controls are good, music is fine and the levels are overall pretty well thought out. |
| May 2 18:00:00 | 17m 00s | Cubique Noire | The art feels good and the audio is just fine.

I tried both the webplayer and windows.
I had unresponsive controls on both, probably due to bad performance.
Another thing I would advise on is against high-res only Web players. 1280x720 is way too high for modest machines (I'm on my laptop, for instance). I would consider a smaller frame for the web and the optional fullscreen mode for larger sizes. |
| May 2 18:21:00 | 21m 00s | BLOB | Phew phew sounds do fit your game theme but they sound way to much, I guess.

I like the reset/new level transitions. Pretty smooth.
That could just happen auto when I die though.

Good puzzle design on there. Overall it is a good game. Couldn't get passed level 12 though |
| May 2 19:13:00 | 52m 00s | Running With Swords | Current control scheme is good. The only thing I have trouble with is measuring the jump distance.
The famous 'jump to the spike every now and then' kind of thing!

Randomness gets pretty brutal often times.

Doing the spinning thing over and over is quite funny
My best score was merely 183. Cool twist on the genre. |
| May 2 19:26:00 | 13m 00s | Trapped | Oh I managed to feel the sun again.
Halfway I even stumbled upon a man with a bag of potatoes. Hah!

That was nice. |
| May 2 19:44:00 | 18m 00s | Polymorph | Narration sounded nice. The music is rather catchy, even more with that nice twist when you transform.

The controls could be better. Often times the ball accelerates way too fast, bouncing off walls to the opposite direction or straight to limbo.

I find that the falling blocks/spikes part was way exaggerated, to say the least, in the sense that I beat it out of pure luck.

Oh and I noticed that once I got in the credits screen I couldn't get back to main menu. |
| May 2 19:54:00 | 10m 00s | OZE | The controls and collision response are luckily very well implemented. It satisfies the core mechanics, making the game pleasant to play, despite its inherent difficulty.

The sound is a bit too much repetitive but, hey, minimalism right. |
| May 2 20:44:00 | 50m 00s | Please Ignore The Dancing Llama | I managed to score 14196. Splendifurous!

Dialogues are rather funny, so does the overall mood.
The controls are OK, except for the jump which takes way too much time to recover. That floating period is a pain.
Art and music are good and both fit the concept of this entry. |
| May 2 20:57:00 | 13m 00s | Persist | Overall the game is fine but one of the core part of the gameplay (the jump) often behaves in a weird way. I can't seem to grasp how much it is a problem on the jump control itself or on platforms friction. It just feels incorrect sometimes, leading to frustration.

I liked the sounds and the game theme is interesting (stopped playing after the first blue level - waterfalls). |
| May 2 21:16:00 | 19m 00s | Gardener in Minimalism Spring | Pretty relaxing zen game.
Took a while to figure out how the seeds work and it was rewarding. After that it is all about lay-outing your garden.
The art is OK for the purpose. |
| May 2 21:26:00 | 10m 00s | Minimal Shifting | Quite simple game. Straightforward mechanics.
Pretty fun nonetheless. Played various runs.
The general aesthetics backs up your concept, I just don't dig the background art too much. |
| May 2 21:35:00 | 9m 00s | Stick Man Run | Oh pretty fun graphics on there. I'm afraid the randomness is a bit too much on there, leading to death after death on my end.

The sounds were fun as well. Pretty humorous overall. |
| May 2 22:24:00 | 49m 00s | They Don't Stop Coming | OK so I would say this is a puzzly-strategic game where you induce the enemy to take a certain path while you conquer new spaces. Neat.

I find the concept really great and puzzle solution looks genuine after you realize the correct moves.
The music comes on top really well, helped me relax a bit.

I beat the game... "So they do stop coming" :) |
| May 2 22:57:00 | 33m 00s | Make Friends Don't Bake Them | Somehow I like the lights on/off thing. Looks familiar (check my entry if you want to know what I mean).

I managed to get past several levels but couldn't beat it.
The art style is, different, to say the least. I like it.

The movement speed and particularly the jumping action could have been faster/more responsive, since the time one have to complete the level seems a bit unforgiving for my skills.
Nonetheless I get that it is supposed to be a not-that-easy kind of game. |
| May 2 23:37:00 | 40m 00s | Brave New World: The Game | Solid little game. Simple and I like the retro-esque.
Some people really explode when they are not happy. Interesting thoughts on there :) |
| May 2 23:57:00 | 20m 00s | PRISMA | So... the sounds are really well thought and placed. Very good mood. I like the groove. Good sound design/eng on there.

Pretty good take on the theme.
I managed to get to the Yellow level but couldn't solve it. |
| May 3 00:40:00 | 43m 00s | dotLife | I did not manage to play lots of levels because it was pretty hard to my current brain state.

So, into the game:
Nice take on ingame interactive options and a free space to learn the controls. Also the player damage status thing was creative.

It's a good take on the art but I think the generated light looks odd. Not a big deal. I get your restricted palette style on there. Also, interesting stack of screen space effects.

Music is good and overall aesthetics/design is also on par supporting the core concept. |
| May 3 01:28:00 | 48m 00s | Shoot (AAA_FPS_GOTY) | I watched a bit of the live stream as well. Actually I was watching your channel right when the theme was announced.

I played the game and had a great time a couple times. Pretty funny.

Congratz on the dev side of things as well as getting thousands of people to at least interact with creation and game development process. |
| May 3 13:06:00 | 11h 38m | MinimalFive | I enjoyed a couple of runs.

I don't get the instructions text plus walk to the right screens. I think they are really not needed.

Think the diamonds level difficulty set is just a tad off. The red - instant-incinerate-you - blocks get in the way sometimes in a unforgiving manner.

The music fits your game but gets repetitive. |
| May 3 13:19:00 | 13m 00s | Factory Consultant | Why so much text! It would be good if you happen to remove the text. I get it that instructions are need, but it is just too much too read in a single go, right out at the start.

Into the game:
"Stupidly-tight t-shirts are the latest thing". I laughed hard!
Pretty humorous stuff on there.
Game plays well.
UI is not hard to understand. Important!
Puzzle design is very good. Well thought out and well paced across levels.
Art is OK and the sound effects fit nicely. |
| May 3 13:33:00 | 14m 00s | Minimalism | The mood manages to be quite nice. Musics contributes a huge factor on there, I suppose.
Think the game elements are literally minimal. Actually they are way too tiny.

I don't quite get the setting at all. I failed to get a meaning out of it.
Either way, at the end I have created a beautiful universe. |
| May 3 13:44:00 | 11m 00s | Stijl | I like the music. It feels relaxing. At first I thought it didn't really your game but I think it got it. A bit repetitive ,though.

Game mechanics and level design are sleek.
Pretty good take on colors and combinations. |
| May 3 14:11:00 | 27m 00s | Squares | Cool little game. The music builds up tension as it gets harder. My best was barely 51 seconds.

One thing I would take extra care is window/frame size. The height is way too much to fit in modest displays (HD resolution) |
| May 3 14:22:00 | 11m 00s | Quest | Congratulations on being very creative on the 3D art for this one.

Onto the game:
Music is OK.
Often times I got hit by the blue thing then I couldn't move nor attack.
It is a bit hard to hit the enemy without being hit.
Constantly dying because I kept getting cornered on odd situations. Couldn't get very long on the game because of that. |
| May 3 14:36:00 | 14m 00s | Monoboy | I like the drawing.
The music is just fine and sound effects do the job.
Level design is rather interesting.
I died a lot trying to rush the levels. I managed to reach the potato, after some time :)
Very good controls. Smooth!

One thing I would consider is somehow requiring a specific order to kill enemies in order to unlock platforms. Maybe a bit of puzzle aspects on top of would add up nice. |
| May 3 15:05:00 | 29m 00s | Metaballs | Music is fine, but the loop is unfortunately so short.
If you get behind, it is hard, if not impossibe, to comeback on top.
I would consider a gameplay rebalancing on there since it is pretty for whoever acted first to snowball into victory.
The concept is good, though. |
| May 3 16:00:00 | 55m 00s | Another Day In The Life | That was a nice little experience. The interactions feel great. |
| May 3 16:16:00 | 16m 00s | The particle swarm | Clever design.
Interesting levels. Some of them are pretty challenging!
Sound is good, despite being too short. It would be even better if it was a seamless loop instead. |
| May 3 16:26:00 | 10m 00s | Balls Balls Balls | Pretty minimal game mechanics. Smart design on there.
The interface is pretty concise and easy.
Also, good choice on gravitation/attraction field on the hole. That eases possible frustration.
Missed sound effects on interactions. |
| May 3 16:37:00 | 11m 00s | BASHLAND - Breakout Mario Mashup | The feeling is great. Controls are good.
Level design deserves a bit more love. I think it should be tad harder or more challenging, otherwise it just feels like I'm on a relaxed-mode kind of experience. |
| May 3 16:42:00 | 5m 00s | Less is More | Mood is very good, yet strange, but controls are odd and slippery.
Overall atmosphere is excellent, yet intriguing. |
| May 3 20:24:00 | 3h 42m | beTween | Game controls are smooth, after I got the hang of it. It confused a lot at first.
Core idea is pretty good.
The game is a bit hard but level design is well thought out.
Missed sounds :( |
| May 3 20:58:00 | 34m 00s | People | The game sure fits to the theme.
It is very very relaxing, sounds great. A philosophical and unique experience. |
| May 3 21:10:00 | 12m 00s | Midnight Inertia | I understand the instructions but controls are unresponsive. You sure can go up and down but in 30 seconds all I manage to do is to 'bounce' once. Best case.

The graphics are pretty original, to say the least. Very trippy color scheme on there. |
| May 3 21:16:00 | 6m 00s | Desaturation | Game is not working. Stuck on gray screen.
Windows 7. |
| May 3 21:26:00 | 10m 00s | The Painter's Cat | Music is good. On top of that the sound effects sound so cool when you are painting.
The controls are OK, the only big problem is that the cat seems to either pop or snap depending on mouse position. It looks unintended and it does get in the way, in a base sense.
Overall good idea and interesting execution. |
| May 3 21:43:00 | 17m 00s | Click, Release | I don't really understand purpose, meaning and what you really wanted to express. Nonetheless, the experience was engaging.
I must confess I did not finish the game but I played it for quite a while. There were times I got myself just playing around with the sounds.
Cool! |
| May 4 12:13:00 | 14h 30m | Minimalism : Find the red Cube | The game sure fits the theme. I like the music.
Core idea is pretty nice but it is probably a tad too difficult. I would add more hints during the game progress.
Level design is also interesting but I would redo it to better match the difficulty curve.

I liked the concept. I managed to get to level 5. |
| May 4 12:27:00 | 14m 00s | Skware | It's a cool game but the chaotic colored cubes get in the way a lot. I have a hard time concentrating and avoiding certain colors.
The difficult ramp is also interesting. Good concept on there. |
| May 4 12:43:00 | 16m 00s | Less | I liked it. Graphical decision making and text adventure output.
Some times, the texts fade out just a little too fast to my foreign brain to follow up.

Seems like I'm a really bad guy on there. My ending was... well... full of blood.
Rather engaging and pretty philosophical. |
| May 4 12:55:00 | 12m 00s | Proxy | Music is good and I like the character animations as well.
Core gameplay is pretty straightforward, yet you managed to come up with an overall interesting level design.
Nice puzzles.
Controls are pretty decent. |
| May 4 13:07:00 | 12m 00s | Travel | So... I did it. I reached The Face.

This game is very creative! Pretty inventive use of floating texts for environment art.
You managed to make a quite good atmosphere out of a very limited resources. |
| May 5 12:43:00 | 23h 36m | Minimalizer | Pretty interesting take on Portal-esque game.
The thing I would most consider changing is the jump. It doesn't good and it takes several tries to jump over certain platforms.
Cool idea! |
| May 5 13:01:00 | 18m 00s | Platonic Dot Solid | Concept and mood are awesome.
I love how the overall artwork looks like!
Hm... Good intro music beat. Voice over!
Character is funny! Animation is smooth.
Badam Badam. Pretty humorous!

The only thing I would say is review your jump controls. They sure take a bit to get the hang of (inherently because how the perspective is laid out) but it feels odd. (The player stays in the air for too much maybe? - I don't know)

Had a fun time playing it. Congrats! |
| May 5 15:40:00 | 2h 39m | Balls! | Awesome work on 3d art. Must have couple dozen of hours just for that.
The audio track is lovely. Good sound effects as well.

Overall mood and atmosphere are really good. Good job on there.

The level where you have to press the yellow button is interesting. I like the level design. On the same 'yellow-button' level I had some trouble jumping on blocks. Had to do several tries since I kept falling due to unresponsive controls. Maybe a bit of input lag on my end, I don't know.

On the next level it was tricky to get the explosion thing but I managed to beat it after 4 tries or so.

... the difficulty ramps up a bit each new level and after quite a while I managed to beat the game. Pretty fun.

One last note: controls are quite OK. Only if you stand by the ramp the character slowly moves. She doesn't stand in place. |
| May 5 15:52:00 | 12m 00s | The Game Without Controls | This game is very intriguing. Absolutely loved the controls, even though I couldn't really play it properly (too much of a hassle).
Quite hilarious and innovative! |
| May 5 15:59:00 | 7m 00s | Life/Routine | I was overwhelmed at first, especially by too much graphical information and colors and what not.
It was a weird experience but very creative entry!
I spent quite some time on it just creating sounds and overlapping samples. Pretty fun. |
| May 5 16:05:00 | 6m 00s | Multiplied Screens | Wow this entry sure is minimalistic! Quite fun to play, nice mechamic on there.
That was a nice run. |
| May 5 16:13:00 | 8m 00s | O.R.M. Ontological Ressource Management | The inner mechanic is pretty good (resource management at its core) but the game is rather grindy without a single meaning for me.
Interesting nonetheless. |
| May 7 13:55:00 | 45h 42m | Minimum Friction | This is pretty inventive and somewhat mind bending. I like it a lot! |
| May 11 15:43:00 | 97h 48m | Controlled State | Think about there are several people living by these rules right at this moment. This non sensical way of living and control is still alive.

The mood is awesome. This a very good experience everyone should try. This game is really good. Should be part of a broader discussion.

So onto the game:
I couldn't stand living that way. I tried "La Revolucion" by hands and a gun but I failed half-way. |
| May 11 15:57:00 | 14m 00s | Shaving Quest: The Razor's Edge | I dig the concept as a toy.
I LOL'ed quite a few times. |
| May 11 16:06:00 | 9m 00s | Drug Hunt | Sweet! I like the "What are you buying?" type of vendor.
I like the minigames and some of them are pretty tricky.
Graphics are pretty funky and it really fits your game. Same for the sfx. Very good mood on there. Couple minutes after playing I can still feel the effects. Haha!

Nice little trip to the LSD universe! |
| May 11 16:43:00 | 37m 00s | Bridge Crosser | Interesting concept and use of physics. I like the music - don't really know why but it sounds interesting to say the least.

Too bad the controls are unresponsive and overall performance is not that good on a relatively modest 2yrs old laptop. |
