Apr 25 22:59:00 Super Fun Crushy Time! The character moves kinda slow and there are some glitches but man! it's DAMN fun to be big! haha. I enjoyed your entry. Well done sir.
Apr 25 23:15:00 16m 00s This Town (ABEFTTOU) Good game! It was confusing at first, but then I got the hang of it. First time I've seen something like this. As an advice though, people tend to prefer games that doesn't require installation. Even having to download something is -for most of them- already a PITA. You will also reach a broader audience if you make -for example- a web based game. (html5, flash, unity, whatever). <br/>Anyway, lovely entry. Liked it a lot (except for the dead babies thing... I mean... it was .. like... disturbing).
Apr 25 23:27:00 12m 00s Flea Circus hahaha, lovely and quite original. Judges are great, although their comments didn't vary that much for me. Perhaps they could have a couple of phrases for the same thing but you can randomly use one or the other. <br/>Anyway, I had fun with your entry, good job dude.
Apr 25 23:42:00 15m 00s Naos Loved the graphics, really. Nice but bizarre journey. Loved the atmosphere as well. It would be interesting to have the story develop a little further, though. <br/>Overall a nice entry. Liked it.
Apr 25 23:51:00 9m 00s Asylum Loved the mood and the graphics. I agree that this game would be so DAMN epic with music but it's already awesome like it is. Good really. Congratz!
Apr 26 00:00:00 9m 00s The Good Ship Higgs Boson Amazing game! a few glitches with the dialogs but overall a solid entry. Congratulations dude.
Apr 26 00:09:00 9m 00s Angstrom Interesting. Liked the art style and the story progression, although I didn't manage to finish it, sadly :/
Apr 26 00:17:00 8m 00s March of the Ladybirds Nice graphics and cool game. It certainly needs an speed-up button though. And a tutorial. Even a few in-game screens would've helped. Finding the instructions outside of the game was confusing at first.
Apr 26 00:24:00 7m 00s Synthesis Man, I wasn't exactly a fan of chemistry but I enjoyed the game. It was very hard to "pick" the atoms I wanted though.
Apr 26 00:32:00 8m 00s Brainfected As most people already pointed out, it would be great to be able to distinguish my bullets from enemy fire. Also enemies are way too fast. It has a good retro feel to it but combined with modern bullet-hell games, so it's a good mix despite the flaws.
Apr 26 00:42:00 10m 00s Path O' Invasion Interesting. It's nice how you managed to make a mini RTS in just 48h. Graphics are not what I would call consistent; some don't fit together with the rest. I didn't know where to click at first because and since the clickable area is quite tight. When I first "clicked" the green unit (perhaps missed by a bit) the game didn't do a thing, so I assumed that I had to click somewhere else. I had to try a random stage to discover what my units were supposed to be. I like the whole "infect the rest" mechanics.
Apr 26 00:52:00 10m 00s Buggiest Game Ever hahaha, reminds me of Ant Buster. Which is good, I liked that game. I particularly enjoyed the mix between tower defense and traditional RTS. Good stuff.
Apr 26 01:01:00 9m 00s Slime Mold Loved the melancholic mood. Sound and music are awesome and I also liked gfxs. Unfortunately there is not much gameplay there although i'm sure it has potential to be expanded into a full fledged game.
Apr 26 01:08:00 7m 00s Dino Wrangler Interesting entry. Didn't hear music, only sfx, so I'm not rating that (from the comments I guess I should be hearing something though). Nice entry overall. Liked it.
Apr 26 01:16:00 8m 00s Mr. Dibbins and the Island of Lore A fighting/beat-em-up game, cool. Loved the concept. Dude, you better finish this game because I think it can be a good game if you polish the mechanics and improve the graphics. Also a good bgm would be great. I quite enjoyed your entry.
Apr 27 00:57:00 23h 41m Epic Robot Battle For Territory Liked the concept. Sadly I had to play alone but extrapolating my experience, I think this would be quite enjoyable with a a second player. LIked the graphics and the humor. Still not convinced about "giant player, ergo tiny world" idea as a way to meet the theme, though.
Apr 27 01:14:00 17m 00s Forever Alone Nice game. Death was confusing sometimes, but I think you managed to put quite a few interesting things into this (like the whole resource-stealing thing and the ship/world upgrading). Music was perhaps too relaxing, it could be more epic or space-y, but I certainly enjoyed the experience. Good job, especially for being your first LD.
Apr 27 01:36:00 22m 00s Polarity Cool graphics. quite polished. I recall playing this game during the compo when it was still a prototype. Quite a leap in terms of quality. congratulations.
Apr 27 01:56:00 20m 00s Untitled, So Far Liked the graphics. It certainly gets a bit creepy but I liked it. The world looked huge to me, I don't know how you managed to design everything in 48h. Reminded me a bit of Silent Hill with the transitions to the TV/noise/distortion world.
Apr 27 02:07:00 11m 00s ANT SURF HERO: THE SURFENING Loved the art, the music, the idea, everything. It's a really cool entry. My only suggestion would be in terms of control. It's easier for me to move with WASD if I have to use space to shoot. Perhaps accepting both WASD and up/down/left/right would be a nice addition. I certainly loved your game dude. It's damn awesome.
Apr 27 02:26:00 19m 00s Going Rogue F*cking epic. Liked it a lot! Nice music, kick-ass graphics, cool gameplay. One of the best games I've played so far.
Apr 27 02:43:00 17m 00s T in Y World AMAZING entry. Way too creative. Loved the intro theme and the in-game music. I'm guessing it may be a little bit too hardcore for more traditional game dudes (casual gamers will probably fail to enjoy something like this) but for me it was fun as hell (figurative). Kudos!
Apr 27 02:57:00 14m 00s Tiny Civilization Lovely retro B&amp;W graphics, loved the depth (breeding certainly adds a couple of levels to it) and the gameplay. My only complain would be that people move kinda slow and yet it's sometimes hard to click on them!. I don't know how you managed to pull this thing together in only 48 hours, though. it's amazing.
Apr 27 03:09:00 12m 00s Age of Antpires It indeed freezes on the second turn for me as well, but it looks like a retro version of catan, and I like that. Loved your take on the theme. Hope you make a post-compo version with the bugs fixed and a proper AI. And instructions! : )
Apr 28 00:57:00 21h 48m Honey Heist Controls are a bit hard (it gets specially confusing after hitting a wall) and since it's already difficult to move around the timer seems like an overkill. I quite liked the graphics and the idea though. It's not half bad as a game, I would like to see it polished (a bit of balancing and serious work on the controls mainly).
Apr 28 01:12:00 15m 00s Tiny Castles Man, loved the game. The "augh" sfx was indeed annoying but the game itself is solid. Liked the humor a lot, haha. <br/>Fun entry. Congratulations. I enjoyed it a lot.
Apr 28 01:27:00 15m 00s Most of us live in a tiny world One of the most interesting takes on the theme I've seen so far. The mood is powerful and is quite well accompanied by the bgm. There's no much "gameplay" though. Perhaps it could be like a board game where you roll the dice, the character move to the corresponding cell and you display the (particularly depressing but eye-opening) facts.
Apr 28 01:39:00 12m 00s Cube World Awesome game. Loved the graphics and the music. It's a quite polished game. I also second the idea of auto-restarting if you fall. It gets amazingly hard. Solid entry. Loved it.
Apr 28 01:44:00 5m 00s Walker Hahaha, awesome. Quite innovative in terms of concept. Loved your take on the theme. It needs a bit of polish but it's a good game. Music was also good. Landing was a bit difficult sometimes, perhaps there's a problem there with collision detection there, but it wasn't THAT terrible. Good job.
Apr 28 01:55:00 11m 00s World In A Bottle Loved the way you interpreted the theme (although is either a giant bottle or damn small apple trees and rabbits). Loved the stats and everything. I would've liked the buttons to be part of the game interface though. It feels like a 1990 javascript game with the buttons outside of the game screen. Graphics are OK and I certainly missed sound. Hope you finish this game some day. It's a beautiful idea.
Apr 28 02:08:00 13m 00s Audio Land Lovely game. It's actually quite interesting and innovative to me. Graphics are good (love old school ascii games) and it's fun. Sadly I can't see how the game fits into the theme :/ <br/>It's an amazing work though.
Apr 28 02:21:00 13m 00s Michael is Myopic Simple but fun. Sort of a puzzle-katamari. Neat idea. Loved the way it zoomed in and out.
Apr 28 02:37:00 16m 00s Massive Attract Good game although I suck at it. Took me 31 seconds to save earth, and I actually got a higher score (20 secs) by letting the game run without me touching the keyboard. Lol.
Apr 28 02:54:00 17m 00s Disregard All Humans Cute game, loved the graphics and the gameplay, simple yet fun. It's quite polished. I truly enjoyed. Awesome work.
Apr 28 03:01:00 7m 00s Magma Defense Fun and simple. The fact that materials gradually become available was confusing because if you used them while they are half-way through they seem to do nothing besides reverting to fully-disabled. It was interesting though. Needs music!
Apr 28 03:12:00 11m 00s Atom Factory Fun game! although I felt the "atom" thing doesn't help to make this a "tiny" world. It's fun and loved the retro feel on the graphics and sound fx. Good entry overall. Congratz.
Apr 28 03:32:00 20m 00s Inside My Radio A.W.E.S.O.M.E <br/>The level of polish in here is OVER 9000!
Apr 28 03:41:00 9m 00s Lililput amazing music (you can't go wrong with Bach), amazing humor, graphics, concept, everything... <br/>Except for one thing... I didn't quite feel the theme on it. It's quite polished though, and fun as hell.
Apr 28 03:52:00 11m 00s Prince of Leaves Needs a bit of polish but man, that was F*CKING adorable... <br/>(and warm... and.... fuzzy)
Apr 28 04:43:00 51m 00s Tiny World Defense Collisions are a bit off, but it's a nice asteroids-meet-missile-commando kind of game. A genre I've not seen much around this time. Well played sir.
Apr 28 05:11:00 28m 00s I Should Clean My Keyboard This game in three words: Cool Story Bro! <br/>Haha, loved the story, the way you embrace the theme is good as well, quite creative. And it delivers a fun experience.
Apr 28 19:10:00 13h 59m Tiny Garden of Hope Sweet entry. Loved the graphics, the mood, the music, the humor, game mechanics, everything. Planting seeds needs some explaining though but it's a solid entry. It's definitely one of the few games I've played to completion. Congratulations.
Apr 28 20:17:00 1h 07m We're going to need another Gnomy! I enjoyed your entry. Indeed the game needs better balancing (although I actually suck at this kind of games) but it's a fun little game. Congratulations.
Apr 28 20:26:00 9m 00s Tinyverse Interesting. May need some polish to enhance presentation but it's a nice entry overall. Congratulations.
Apr 28 20:42:00 16m 00s Predicament Didn't hear any audio despite using chrome :/ <br/>Anyway, It's an awesome game. Simple and awesomely polished.
Apr 28 20:57:00 15m 00s C:\ Infected I was confused at fist because what I assume it was the intro screen was a green bar for me. just like the gameover screen was a red rectangle. It took me a while to figure out I was supposed to press space to proceed (I just discovered you have stated that in the entry description). Once in the game it was a fun experience. The connection with the theme is rather vague, but the theme is somewhat there.
Apr 28 21:06:00 9m 00s Tiny Globsch alone against the sandstorm Well, it does have some bugs (looks like you don't reset things after death) and the connection with the theme is almost nonexistant. However,it was fun to run from the sandstorm. It's also a good try for being your first LD ever and I'm glad to hear that LD helped you all to get something done.
Apr 28 21:14:00 8m 00s Battle For 35 Leukothea Well polished game. A bit too hardcore on the approach to the theme I guess. Loved the ASCII graphics.
Apr 28 21:20:00 6m 00s Tiny Chtulhu hahaah, it was fun, really. needs more polish though. It's quite nice for being your first LD. Congratulations.
Apr 28 22:42:00 1h 22m Rocket Boat Fits the theme nicely. Loved the graphics and the music. As it's been said already the only weak point is the control scheme. I enjoyed your game. Good job dude.
Apr 29 02:12:00 3h 30m Angle Isle It's a fun little game although I don't see how it fits the theme. Nice music and especially cute and well done graphics. Overall a good entry.
Apr 29 02:58:00 46m 00s Tiny World Cardgame Really lovely entry. It's so... gnomish. Loved the fact it was a card game although I was not good at it. I guess controls may benefit from some explanations (It took me a while to realize how to "attack" my enemy) and since there are so many things to remember, some reminders would be good when the player attempts to do something like attacking a unit or playing a building and it's impossible with the current hand (telling the player what s/he is missing in order to perform that action). I liked the game though. It's fun.
May 1 02:51:00 47h 53m Dude, where's my planet Amazing art and music. Sadly there are a few "gravity-based games on small planets" this time around so it's not that innovative I'm afraid :/ <br/>The quality of this game however make it a top-notch entry and definitely one of the best games I've tried so far.
May 1 06:33:00 3h 42m Bill in BSODia Once I realized I could jump over the white blocks life was suddenly good again. Lost the battle against Steephen but had fun anyway. Since the map is hellin' big it may be a wise idea to add some arrows pointing to the general direction where the player is supposed to go. At first I went north and I reached the upper edge of the board. It took me a while to find the effin' red path. It's a solid entry overall. Loved the graphics and the humor.
May 1 06:51:00 18m 00s Tiny Defenders It's been a while since I had so much fun with a TD game. I second what some people have said here; units should go back to their position when not attacking. A nice take on the game with a catchy background music. A solid entry overall. Congratulations : )
May 1 07:00:00 9m 00s Tiny World War Good game. Loved the graphics. It's the first game of its kinda I've seen this LD so kudos for that. Fun.
May 1 16:37:00 9h 37m Flight of the Ladybug Simple but fun game! Well done.
May 1 16:45:00 8m 00s Tiny Neutrino Well executed entry. Quite fun, congrats!
May 1 17:04:00 19m 00s Cosmicro Loved it! Controls may need to be explained in-game (and the fact that you must destroy aliens to obtain shiny stones), but once you know how to play it, it's effin' fun.
May 2 02:08:00 9h 04m All That Are Lost Will Be Found Kinda creepy. Liked it.
May 3 02:03:00 23h 55m Apocalypse Inc. Awesome game. Quite polished. Congrats.
May 3 02:07:00 4m 00s Recluse Loved how you used the windows size a part of the game mechanics!
May 3 02:57:00 50m 00s There is a Picture Love the attention to details. The game is quite polished. Loved the creepy/lonely mood. One of the few games I played to the end. Well done!
May 3 03:12:00 15m 00s MakHappy Looked nice. I didn't like the controls though. It's a good entry though. quite fun and adorable graphics.
May 4 01:40:00 22h 28m Defend the Planet Loved the mechanics! Hope you make a full-fledged game out of it (with intro, music, tutorial perhaps...). It's a solid entry. Congratulations.
May 4 02:12:00 32m 00s Interstellar Moai Ranger Good game, like it a lot. However, as far as I know you should not be doing fixes on your entry directly. It's completely valid to put a link to an updated version, but as a separate link from the original submission. The original version submitted to the Jam should always be there. It would be unfair to compare a game which has received further development against entries which were done in the jam time frame. Please correct that.
May 4 02:48:00 36m 00s Microscopia Fun and innovative. Congratulations, It's an amazingly simple but seriously fun game.
May 4 02:57:00 9m 00s Oh Boy, Oh Boy Amazing but simple concept. Would love to see this idea evolve into a complete game (currently lacking win condition and music mainly)
May 4 03:06:00 9m 00s Hero of Rain Loved the mood, graphics and audio (it's refreshing to see a game that relies on sfx instead of bgm to create ambiance). I liked how you implemented the "health bar". Now, if I must talk about my personal experience with your game I think it could be summarized as follows: "F*CKING B*STARD RED PAC-MEN OF DEATH! DAMN YOU ALL!"
May 4 03:36:00 30m 00s White Cell 2.0 Fun, really. I agree with the minimap though, there should be one somewhere!. The mood was nicely set. At first I didn't like the responsiveness but then I get used to it and felt natural.
May 4 03:48:00 12m 00s Roller As it was obvious I also got the problem with the camera on the second level, but I enjoyed what I played. This has been suggested for other games and I think it also applies to yours; perhaps a mini-map in the corner would be useful. A nice little entry overall. Congratulations.
May 6 03:19:00 47h 31m Planet Life A little too confusing, and didn't get the whole bootman thing but is definitely a solid entry . The game is amazingly well done, quite polished, with cool art and fitting soundtrack. Your work never cease to amaze me. Congratulations.
May 6 03:47:00 28m 00s Face The Truth Stuttered a bit (sometimes I just thought it froze but then it kept going), perhaps java wasn't the best choice, but it's fun as hell! Loved the game. Amazing work, really.
May 6 04:22:00 35m 00s Burning Platform Great game. Loved the ultra retro look&amp;feel of the game. The concept is also quite innovative (at least for this round of LD). Sometimes I felt like tilting my phone to move the particles in some direction so perhaps you may add a little bit of "gravity" that works by tilting your phone, but it's not THAT strong as to allow you to save your "friends" by only tilting. It's a hard game but I enjoyed it. <br/>Btw, works like a charm on a Galaxy S (GT-I9000B)
May 6 22:14:00 17h 52m These are your Friends Amazing game. I found a "bug", though; If you pick up the ship before the red dudes disembark and place it to the right of the island, then you have no threat to your guys and you can leave the game accumulating score without worrying. The "bird" won't descend unless you lift your guys up. Anyway, loved the concept, graphics and sounds. It's a good and original entry. Congratulations.
May 6 22:50:00 36m 00s SpaceMission Part 2 Great game. Feels like an arcade classic. It's a bit too hard though! Had to click on the "load unity player on a new window" link to play. Took me a while to get past the spaceship part but enjoyed the trip. Solid entry!
May 6 22:58:00 8m 00s Catamari Meowacy omg zorlax, haha. Nice platformer. Lot of humor there. Nice entry. A bit too difficult perhaps but I liked your game.
May 6 23:09:00 11m 00s Obsolescence Beautiful game. Perhaps mechanics could be further expanded (like building some sort of galactic map with the probe data, with probability clouds and the like) but as it stands now is a truly simple but beautiful game.
May 6 23:27:00 18m 00s Game With a Fantastic Title certainly interesting and cute. An original and well polished entry with a beautiful soundtrack. Loved it.
May 8 17:33:00 42h 06m Tiny Maze Speedrun Solid maze game. You can really feel the pressure with the timer going on and the guy's animation, so I'm giving you points for mood even when your have no music here. Even the game palette (if W&amp;B counts as palette) is "toilet-sy". <br/>The link with the theme is rather vague but it's an amazingly fun entry despite this. I also still can't believe you made a fully-functional maze generator for this game. Congratulations dude.
May 8 17:40:00 7m 00s Cracked Good game. For the graphics and instructions I was expecting a traditional strategy battle game, but once the floor started cracking I could see the clever twist you made there. Nice music and graphics btw. Kudos to both of you.
May 9 02:28:00 8h 48m Phobius Fantastic little game. Loved the mechanics, art and music. Also the anxious/panic mood was certainly accomplished and it had quite a dose of humor.
May 9 02:59:00 31m 00s Little City Most. Disturbing. Milk Shop. Ever. <br/>Amazing game dude, really. It's fantastic. Loved every bit of it.
May 9 03:08:00 9m 00s Celia Clever use of the theme (I mean, linking the tiny world thing with Wonderland). The only downside of how you used Alicia's adventure in your game is that for the most of it, it's a tiny character in a normal-sized world. Music was a nice touch and graphics are quite good. It's an overall solid entry. Congratulations.
May 9 03:21:00 13m 00s Quarky A bit buggy but fun. Graphics didn't help with the whole idea of a quark in a quantum-sized world and all that, but they were enough to identify things on screen. Audio was nice as well. Liked it.
May 12 17:02:00 85h 41m Short Life in a Box Loved the game and the atmosphere. If the player is not going to have any ability from the start you should -however- make the encounter with the first ability painless and easy (specially when it's hard to tell where the floor or the walls end). I was about to quit the game when I discovered the "way". Anyway, great entry, quite solid. Congratulations
May 12 17:17:00 15m 00s Tiny World Thing It's interesting but it's clearly a work in progress. Keep exploring the idea, looking nice so far. The web version certainly has a serious framerate problem, but the windows version (despite the bugs) worked OK. Congratulations.
May 13 04:13:00 10h 56m My First World Loved the graphics, the mood, music, and the overall feeling. Didn't like your choice of font, too hard to read. It's an interesting game though. Congratulations.
May 13 04:18:00 5m 00s Sako Nice platformer. Failed to see the link with the theme though. A good entry anyway. Kudos!
May 13 04:33:00 15m 00s Tiny Galaxy Loved it. Good mechanics, nice music, beautiful graphics. I quite enjoyed the game. Congratulations.
May 13 18:28:00 13h 55m shiprage Good idea. It needs a few improvements though. It's hard to tell the unit you control aside from the rest of the team. Telling when a unit died is also hard. I enjoyed however the game. It's a neat little entry.
May 13 19:19:00 51m 00s Hummy's Hunger Simple but groovy music. The game is indeed a bit off-theme (is more of a "tiny char" instead of a "tiny world") but it's fun anyway. Graphics are cute and well done and I love the retro SMB feel. Congratz!
May 13 19:31:00 12m 00s Quark One of the few entries I've played to the end. Cool graphics, nice sound effects and interesting concept. A few suggestions though: The text font was hard to read, so you may better try with another one, also you should make more visible the current phase; just changing the color of the sign on its forehead is not exactly what I would call visible (i mean, it's get impossible to tell the current phase the further you are from the screen). Anyway, solid and polished entry. Congratulations.
May 13 21:02:00 1h 31m Tiny Sword Cool old-school dungeon crawl game! Navigating to invalid rooms is a little confusing as you get no feedback whether you can go in that direction or not (and you can actually can keep going in that direction without the screen changing). I failed to end the game though; killed the wizard, recovered my sword/knife and then went east to find something I honestly have no idea what it was, and then there was nowhere to go. Anyway, I enjoyed the retro feeling and the battles and I think the simple yet fun graphics amount for a few stars on the humor category as well as in fun. ;)
May 13 21:40:00 38m 00s The Green Planet Quite interesting (although damn hard!) Just a suggestion; when asteroids collide with Earth you could make Earth lose size instead of being killed instantly (of course, once the planet shrinks past a certain limit it's game over). You could display current "diameter" somewhere so you can see how it goes up when absorving debris and down when colliding with asteroids. Cool entry. I liked it.
May 13 22:03:00 23m 00s The Tourist Cool mechanics but the beginning is way too slow. It would be probably good to introduce the mechanics in a crafty way (like the second block you break at the beginning will always contain a block, so you make sure the player finds something early that encourages him/her to keep looking). It may also be a good idea to add some kind of "radar" which starts beeping when you are near something. Anyway, liked the game. One of the most innovative games I've seen so far.
May 13 22:07:00 4m 00s Zephyr Great graphics, amazing music, relaxing mood. Beautiful game really! Damn polished as well. Congratulations!
May 13 22:18:00 11m 00s The tiny life Fun game, dying is a bit too easy (card is hard to control when precise jumping is needed) but it's one of the most creative entries I've seen! Love the "I'm a badass card" feeling! (until you need to stop and jump and you can't actually slow down fast enough and then you fall and die). Would love to see this entry further developed into a full-fledged game.
May 13 22:31:00 13m 00s Enter The Mechanism Loved it! It was a bit too hard (a smoother curve would be greatly appreciated) but I liked it. The connection with the theme was rather weak and the music was perhaps too dark for the game. Anyway, this one is definitely a cool entry and would love to see this game expanded to have more levels and obstacles!
May 13 22:36:00 5m 00s Tinysasters A-W-E-SO-M-E. Nothing else to say.
