| Apr 24 11:30:00 | Prince of Leaves | Enjoyed playing along to the song, lovely atmosphere too! | |
| Apr 24 11:43:00 | 13m 00s | ResourceCollector | Had no problems with XNA. Really liked the art style and audio, but struggled with the control scheme - right alt for sucking resources seemed unneeded (just autocollect resources) and tapping right control to fire each bullet was really painful. Also, they're close to the windows key so I kept accidently pressing that! Think holding to fire would have worked much better. Didn't get to see much of the game as a result, I felt the rapid onset of RSI :( |
| Apr 24 11:54:00 | 11m 00s | Tiny Artillery | We played it two player, liked the planet physics. Having the high ground seems to unbalance it a bit. |
| Apr 24 12:02:00 | 8m 00s | Planetship | I liked the asthetics and the audio track modulating the ship and sun. The controls seemed broken though - having the mouse rotate the view AND select planets was awkward - the mouse cursor could have been bound to the screen centre or rotation could have used a seperate control. As a result, it wasn't as fun as it could be. It would be cool if something more happened when you save humanity as well :) |
| Apr 24 15:26:00 | 3h 24m | Single Cycles | We played this with three players. It is hilarious and made us laugh but was very difficult to tell which colour we were and how to actually play/win. The joining mechanic is cool though! |
| Apr 24 15:38:00 | 12m 00s | These Planets Ain't Big Enough For The Both Of Us! | We played this multiplayer, it's pretty funny! Not sure how well the blocking works though. We do like the music :) |
| Apr 24 15:56:00 | 18m 00s | Critter Clash | This looks nice, but is really difficult to tell what's going on! We played it three player, and couldn't really tell what we were doing. Eventually we figured out that we were controlling 3 separate ships/insects, but the game ended very abruptly when someone won... I think |
| Apr 24 15:59:00 | 3m 00s | SpaceBlastah | I tried to join game25 but got a blank screen... |
| Apr 24 16:22:00 | 23m 00s | TMORPG | If this didn't disconnect and lose my character so much, this would be great! I like the animation on the character's eyes as you move around. Also it was fun to meet up with the game's creator and have a chat in the game ;)

I'm not entirely sure how the XP/health system works, I'm not sure I managed to level up at all and I couldn't find any health potions to regenerate after fighting all those rats.

I suppose fun/humour/mood depends on who you're playing with! |
| Apr 28 20:19:00 | 99h 57m | Pixels World | This is quite fun, but not very challenging. The graphics are simple but effective, and the story is amusing if a little contrived! I enjoyed the background music too. |
| Apr 28 20:21:00 | 2m 00s | The Two of Us | I can't run this, I don't have a Mac |
| Apr 28 20:27:00 | 6m 00s | Virus Wars | This is a fun little game, could see myself playing this in 5 minute breaks. The mechanic is simple yet effective! It's a shame there's no audio though. The tutorial was actually quite informative, despite containing no text or audio to explain what happens! |
| Apr 29 17:50:00 | 21h 23m | Memento XII | Great take on the "tiny world" theme and a lot of fun to play. Very good attention to detail and the help system is a bonus. Graphics look lovely; shame you didn't have time for sound. And although you say your English isn't good you get top marks for knowing the word "scatterbrain"! |
| Apr 29 18:13:00 | 23m 00s | Tinysasters | Cute little game! Couldn't figure out how to use manna to terraform until we'd already completed the game on hard mode; could have been better explained at the start. Not always easy to see where your buildings are either. But really good fun, and would definitely play again! |
| Apr 29 18:39:00 | 26m 00s | Space Cabin | Very funny game; hilarious axe animation! Had to use walk-through to get out of the control room, light bonfire and use spaceship. Was funny first time round, but probably won't play again. Hope you enjoyed your first Ludum Dare! |
| Apr 29 18:52:00 | 13m 00s | Bottled Worlds | I seem to have the same problem as schnerble... |
| Apr 29 19:11:00 | 19m 00s | Full Circuit | Great puzzle but infuriating to play! Constantly restarting levels after every little mistake made me give up on this before I finished the first level. |
| Apr 29 19:23:00 | 12m 00s | Unusable Man and the Orbs of Exponential Growth | Quite a lot of fun, but it got very difficult to tell what was going on, especially when the planet expanded really fast! The story was very funny, as was the title! Well done (and happy 16th birthday!) |
| Apr 29 19:45:00 | 22m 00s | Tiny Monk | A fun game that I would come back to and play again! I like the building mechanic between rounds, although after a while just pumping up the damage/multishot seems to do the trick. The only problem I found was that the multishot would fire to the right of my mouse pointer, and also when upgrading multishot there wasn't a number on the GUI to indicate how many shots I had. |
| Apr 29 20:02:00 | 17m 00s | Tiny God : Small Diety, Big Pantheon | This is a fun game to play for a few minutes, but it could use a little more variation. I'm not sure the stats at the end add up properly, it said there was a total of 152 cows but I only created 146? 143 were dead |
| May 1 20:55:00 | 48h 53m | Aether | This is fun, and challenging in the right sort of way. When I was killed and had to restart, it felt like my mistake, something I could have done better. I really like the interaction between the two games, and the way they both play at the same time. There doesn't seem to be an obvious way to lose the missile defence section, but how well you do affects the difficulty of the exploration section. The destructible terrain is a nice effect, although it got me in a situation where I couldn't climb out of the first brown cave, because a hole had been blown in the cliff so it became an overhang I couldn't jump over. Graphics are simple but really effective, same goes for the sound. Well done! |
| May 1 21:15:00 | 20m 00s | The Good Ship Higgs Boson | This is good! I really like the gravity changing mechanic, although for some of the rooms it felt like I was solving puzzles by fluke rather than thinking it through properly. Otherwise it controls nicely, has simple but effective graphics and sound. Shame the ending is a bit of an anticlimax, and comes so soon. |
| May 6 19:55:00 | 118h 40m | subAtomic | This is hilarious! One of my favourite bits is the cut-scene of the missile bouncing off the force field. *boink!* Great work! |
| May 10 07:34:00 | 83h 39m | Alien Archaeologist | This is a fun game! I like the variety that comes from the different enemy types, and the randomly generated terrain. The title and transition screens have an endearing home-made quality :P I did struggle a bit with framerate on some of the bigger worlds, and sometimes the planet would grow on top of my ship and I'd get stuck inside. I finished the game and got a score of 9800 :) |
| May 10 07:46:00 | 12m 00s | ANT SURF HERO: THE SURFENING | It's good, but a little hard to control with the ant. A lot of the dudes were at ground level, and I couldn't shoot past the ant. Also if the ant leaves you behind then you have some catching up to do, but I guess that's kind of the point of the game - surfing on something you can't control. It's pretty hard to dodge the enemy bullets, they travel quickly. Otherwise, good game! I like the retro graphics and the humour :) |
| May 12 07:33:00 | 47h 47m | Polarity | This is a fun little puzzle game that needs dexterity too! I like the simple control scheme, and how you've made plenty of puzzles around it. Graphics are nice and simple, it's a shame the sound didn't work for me on Firefox. |
| May 12 07:43:00 | 10m 00s | Pogo Planet | Looks very nice, and a good mood while playing (helped by the music). It's an interesting idea for gameplay, but doesn't seem to go anywhere and doesn't really hold interest for that long. |
| May 12 07:50:00 | 7m 00s | 70 seconds left | I got 110,094 with a combo of 120 ;) The combo goes away really quickly, so although you can charge up the fire attack to go further, it's not really worth it. Also it might be better if you start the game in the middle of the city rather than on a corner. Could do with a bit more polish, but it's fun to play! |
| May 12 07:57:00 | 7m 00s | Colours in the Void | It's a nice idea, but it's really difficult! There's tons of stuff to collide with, and the bullets are homing :( Very innovative though, and good use of simple graphics! |
| May 12 08:08:00 | 11m 00s | Oh Boy, Oh Boy | It's a nice idea but it does get to the point where the whole planet is covered in trees and you just end up repairing the patches where the meteors land with rain. Looks very nice, and there's a good mood to it which would have been helped even further with some music! |
| May 12 08:15:00 | 7m 00s | These are your Friends | I had a few tries but couldn't really figure out how to play. Either I'd get game over within 12 seconds, or I'd pick the boat up and nothing would ever attack...
It looks very nice though, and I like the idea :) |
| May 12 08:32:00 | 17m 00s | Quest^3 | I like this game! It is quite confusing at the beginning, and I forgot how to drink potions (a reminder of the key to press next to the potion icon would be nice). If you could visualise the world rotating as you move it'd be easier to understand, but I know that's not an easy feature to implement, especially in the time ;)
Other than the potion button, the interface is good and I like the way it's presented as a series of Yes/No questions. The random nature gives it a lot of replayability too! |
| May 12 15:45:00 | 7h 13m | Poor Pluto | Quite a simple game, but a bit of fun :) |
| May 12 16:20:00 | 35m 00s | Dr. Biology's Educational Game | Yay, biology! Your voice acting is, as always, exquisite |
| May 12 16:43:00 | 23m 00s | Tinyville Confidential | The graphics are very nice, wouldn't look out of place as a Facebook game! It is fun to arrange things, but it's a shame that there isn't really a goal to the game or any progression.

In one game I played, Ben got stuck outside his door at nightfall and the game wouldn't continue from there. Sometimes a lot of notifications come through at once and you can't read them all, maybe a list of recent notifications would be better? Also it's difficult to see the info bubbles at night, perhaps they shouldn't be darkened. |
| May 12 16:51:00 | 8m 00s | It's a tab | Very innovative, shame it's not a very long (or replayable) game! |
| May 12 17:01:00 | 10m 00s | Dude, where's my planet | Very good! The graphics are lovely :) I found the game quite hard though, it's difficult to judge how much of a run-up is needed and often I would just fly off the screen. |
| May 12 17:08:00 | 7m 00s | Faelanx | A very good game! Definitely one I'll come back to :) When I came to play the second time, I was pleasantly surprised that it had saved my progress :D

The graphics are lovely, but what I really like is the variation and opportunity to use and specialise in different spells. The enemies are varied too, so there's a lot to do! One problem I do have is that enemies respawn more quickly than I'd expect, from travelling one side of the level to the other. It would be good if enemies were cleared out of a level, only respawning when you went up or down (you'd have to add an upward staircase). I suppose the way it's done now allows you to level up before descending further.

Great job! |
| May 12 17:23:00 | 15m 00s | Curse Of Grimwood | This is pretty cool! I like the graphical style, and the music gives it a good sense of atmosphere. It's fun to explore, and the combat is tactical. I still haven't managed to complete it though... |
| May 13 07:16:00 | 13h 53m | Microcosm | It took me a while to realise that I had to double click to make things work. Even then I didn't really know what I was doing... |
| May 13 07:27:00 | 11m 00s | The Tiny Gryphalope | This looks really nice, but it's quite a slow game and I had a lot of trouble aiming, even with the mouse crosshair.

I'd like to be able to 3D model that well though :) |
| May 13 07:58:00 | 31m 00s | Tiny Planet | A fun game, but it's difficult to see what's going on with all the explosions. Other than that the graphics are nice. There doesn't seem to be much challenge, so I don't think I'd replay it that much |
| May 13 10:36:00 | 2h 38m | Planet 161 | Very good! The puzzles kept me playing for quite a while until I finished the game, and they were tricky to solve too! I like the variation of the different tools. There was character to the story, and the music and sounds were well done. Graphics are lovely too, very retro! |
| May 13 11:12:00 | 36m 00s | Five by Five | This is a lot of fun! I had to keep refreshing the page when I couldn't continue as there's no reset option, but that didn't stop me playing several games! The graphics are simple but effective.
Some improvements - somtimes the pieces have separate "islands" of tiles, and it's difficult to tell which are part of the same piece when picking them up. Also it'd be good to see what's underneath a tile that doesn't match, perhaps make it transparent? Also rotation would be good. |
| May 13 11:29:00 | 17m 00s | Catamari Meowacy | It's a good mechanic, and actually quite difficult in the later levels, but a bit of a short game. Has loads of character though! |
| May 13 11:34:00 | 5m 00s | Dimensional | A nice idea, but needs workng out properly. But, well done in 5 hours! |
| May 13 11:54:00 | 20m 00s | Cruel space | A very nice looking game! The gameplay is fun too, although there was a bit of lag on the movement controls which made it hard to dodge the enemies. I like the upgrades between levels, that adds a bit of depth to it. Well done! |
| May 13 23:49:00 | 11h 55m | Obsolescence | Looks and sounds very nice! I wasn't really sure how to play well though, sometimes the probe would find things but rotating that many degrees came up empty. |
| May 13 23:51:00 | 2m 00s | 1 Seed | I like the mechanic of getting in and out of the ship, and flying around the solar system! However once I got to the planets the seed collecting and planting mechanic seemed a little flat. Also it was quite easy to accidentally plant trees rather than climbing into the spaceship, since it's the same button for both and you can't tell if you're close enough to the ship. |
| May 13 23:52:00 | 1m 00s | Another Kind of World | This has lovely graphics and music and a nice mood to it. There was some puzzling to it involving the wrapping edges, but a lot of it was trial and error - the bomb throwing physics were a bit strange, especially when standing on a ledge and trying to throw downwards. |
| May 13 23:53:00 | 1m 00s | Game With a Fantastic Title | This is a lovely little game! I was skeptical at first because there wasn't much challenge, but it is a lot of fun just to build up the music in parts and see how it all works together! With the very small notes it is sometimes difficult to reach the lower ones, as there is quite a small collision gap to fall through and you end up walking around on the higher ones. |
| May 13 23:54:00 | 1m 00s | Inside My Radio | This is a good idea, and it's well polished and hangs together really well. Graphics and audio are fantastic! It is incredibly difficult though, I'm fairly musical and I found it difficult to time my jumps to the beat properly, especially when jumping on disappearing platforms and avoiding the electricity! That gives it a sense of frustration, feeling as though it's the game that made me lose, rather than my own failing. |
| May 13 23:56:00 | 2m 00s | HMS Imahara | This is an interesting game, it reminds me of two board games! One is Red November, where players play co-operatively as gnomes on a sinking submarine and must move around and fix problems and survive until rescue arrives. The different sections of the ship, and the oxygen tanks dotted around reminded me of this. The other is Escape From The Aliens In Outer Space, where each player has their own map, half of the players are humans and the other half are aliens. The humans must reach the escape pods in the darkness while the aliens try to catch them, but each player's position is only revealed when a relevant card is drawn. As for your game, it is good and has some atmosphere, but could use a bit of fleshing out to make it more obvious what's going on. I wasn't sure when or why doors would close after I opened them, and I wasn't sure when aliens would move or where (adds to the suspense I suppose). An idea from Red November would be the addition of tasks to perform in different ship sections, or blocking off corridors to make movement more difficult. There's plenty you could do with this game! |
| May 13 23:58:00 | 2m 00s | Little City | Right... |
| May 14 00:07:00 | 9m 00s | Tiny Worlds | This is a lot of fun! The graphics are simple but well polished, and the audio is funny :) I like how the title screen is integrated with the rest of the game. The physics take a while to get used to, it's very easy to fly into space by mistake. Also at the end of the game, you can keep pressing Enter and more and more atmospheres surround the tiny world :P |
