Wonderful fishing mechanic, lovely calming Miyazaki-esque feel, tragic ending. A+
Also just being able to play *anything* as a cat in a boat is all I could hope for.

Ugh! This is so good! I rage quit at 1133 though. May come back for more later. It's really impressive how simple but engaging this little game is, and the art is just the right amount of bubbly. Great work!
This is even more fun than watching the grass grow!
(On a serious note: this is a great little gag. Nice idea.)
17743! That was bonkers. I haven't click-spammed that hard since my StarCraft days!
Having some kind of object that you have to avoid might make the experience a little bit more engaging. That being said, this works really well as kind of a reckless romp through the forest, which fits with you being a FIRE ELEMENTAL and all. I'm excited to show this to my kid in the morning.
Well, it works on Firefox Nightly! (Admittedly I'm probably the only person seeing this who's using that though.)
Also, really enjoyed this. Adorable, compact little gem of a game. The sound effects and the art worked really well together and it was short but pleasant.
Okay well TOP MARKS FOR HUMOR! What a weird and awesome idea, and the execution was off-beat and hilarious. Overall, glad I played. Also I sold a bucket for over $2000 dollars, so... I'm kind of a big deal.
All right well shoot, you win. I haven't played the game yet but I know I will and I'm pretty sure I'll love it because that UI is just so crisp and clean and inviting.
Wow. Really, what a beautiful little experience. And what a sweet ending. Really fantastic work.
A) this was super funny, B) I love the weird music, C) I was literally laughing out loud at the way the customers would start violently shaking the more angry they got, and my kid who is playtesting games with me was super confused. A+
I can honestly say that was the most tense I've ever felt fighting a giant broccoli monster. I was pumped.
Good action, hilarious art, appropriate music. Nice!
I love the calming music, and the general feeling of being a cute little rover trying to help the humans. Also I've never been thanked and complimented by a game before, so that little message was nice :)
I made it through 24! Phew! That was challenging, though I'm not sure if the way I solved 24 was correct, I think I got the point of all the levels up until that. That was an impressive amount of puzzle making for 48 hours. Nice work. In particular the puzzles do a nice job of tutorializing the mechanisms and solidifying the player's intuitions on how they interact.
I really enjoyed this! Also my son had a good time with it. I love that you made the pitch of the sound effect go up and down as you collected / returned the power. One thing that may help a little bit: it's not totally clear from your description that the "power" you collect are the little white motes floating around (I thought they were just there for aesthetics), so I kind of just sat around for a bit at first. Maybe make that clear in the instructions?
Anyway nice work! A satisfying day/night cycle and a simple but enticing aesthetic.
I exhaled through my nose pretty strongly reading all your yam puns. Overall solid execution, fun aesthetic, great humor, and a nice use of the theme. Great work!
@mariavalcam haha, yes sorry about the killing chickens bit! When I showed my wife she said "you're a vegetarian and *this* is the game you made?"
@rosypenguin Oh my God! No joke, Deepest Sword was one of the handful of LD games that I played prior to this which inspired me to participate! What an honor :)
@brandann Aww, yay! That makes me feel so good. I was expecting my son to be the one most into your game because he loves to play the bad guy, but my daughter was so excited by the idea of "collecting" the cute little slimes that she just wanted to keep on going forever.
