This is cool! Love the space design (especially for only a couple days work). The credits are ingenious too

This is a cute litte game! I like the graphics a lot. It took me a few minutes to figure out the mechanics though
Loved the game! Did not expect this from such a simple concept - love the personal touch :) and music
This is a cool little simulation! I love procedural stuff like this
Super cool vibe and graphics! How are the words selected?
And yes, like others I struggled a bit with the reply time :)
Cool little game! was fun to play - I echo some of the points about audio but I can't complain since unlike us you made your own music!
But I love how it's a cohesive experience as opposed to just a single "minigame"-style mechanic, that's impressive in three days.
Cool and spooky! Concur that the mood fits great Are the levels procedurally generated?
This is awesome! Fantastic art, great animation and I love how there's a progression system. Seriously impressive for a compo game
Agreed with @hansj, I can't get the controls to work? The game also fires up my VR headset, I don't know if that'as related to the issue
Cool game! took me a few minutes to figure out but I like the art and idea
This is a really cool and novel concept! I like it.
If I had to give some constructive critisism: - The controls are a bit like sliding on ice - it's probably because you're treating the player as a physics object in Unity and applying forces (instead of WASD translating directly to movement as it does in most games) - It's a bit hard to tell sometimes if I'm damaging an enemy or not, maybe giving them health bars or blood or something would help
Fun game, but too hard for me :) Couldn't get past the first minigame haha
Fun mini game! I ended with $129k
200 turns is quite long though, would be good to have some sort of progress indicator or to make it change more over time
It feels very polished though
Cool first game :) I did find the collisions frustrating at times but it was a fun classic platformer
Fun, but I couldn't figure out most of the questions (maybe there's a bug but more likely I'm stupid :)
Thanks for playing! We wanted to go overboard and try making a 3D game this year. You'll notice the bugs but we learned a lot :)
Fun little game! I LOVE the soundtrack :) The summoning mechanic is fun and original! I wish we could see how it could be taken further, perhaps with more shapes or something. It reminded me of Baba is You as well as my first jam game, which played kinda similarly.
This was super interesting! Lots of new gameplay. Also I love the candle lighting, nice touch
But I found it a bit frustrating trying to figure everything out by trial and error and needed the hints. It would be really cool to see how you can adjust the gameplay to make it easier to figure things out without trying every combination (which can get boring). But good foresight with the spoiler message.
This is an awesome little concept, very fun and works well :) Great music too, fits perfectly. Unfortunately I am too bad at it, and couldn't even get any score haha.
Could be fun as a two player game, one person trying to escape and the other trying to kill them?
I love the art and music, and the story really worked! The casual platform mechanics were definitely enough to enjoy but not enough to be distracting, you balanced it just enough to get the story to be impactful. The portal transitions were a bit jarring/disorienting but then I realised they actually just take you to the next level.
Oh, and you should make a cover image for the game!
Fun game! I like the visual style and the innovative summoning mechanic. I couldn't get very far as it seems enemies take a loot of hits to kill (probably a skill issue). Some minor stuff: For some reason the UI elements are quite small on my screen (maybe because of high dpi) and I couldn't get X to attack to work!
Love the art with the parallax effect, great work.
@Sicosiber thank you so much!
@raimondosenpai @hot-noggin-studios @james-greenleaf @dorren Thanks for the wonderful comments 🥰
@tomas-selmeci Glad you liked it! The game itself is in Unity UI. We decided on the cards and tooltips by hand (with stable diffusion-generated images), the matchup stories and winners are generated by a small LLM (Claude Haiku) since there were far too many combinations to write by hand!
We had another version which had more reasonable and serious stories, but we decided we like how unpredictable and funny it is!
Fun little concept, and cheeky use of the theme. Art is very cohesive and I think . The gameplay felt too easy to me as you can easily see the teachers coming (and it's just about not pressing E rather than hiding from them entirely), although on the flipside I got stuck at 49 and couldn't find the last person! Spreading mechanic is a nice touch. To make it harder, you could start with a time limit forcing you to take risks.
Where's the link!?
Mechanically very impressive, especially solo and with your own art - you should be proud! Unfortunately I'm really bad at these types of games, so wasn't able to finish it! Some minor feedback is that the spikes should probably be more visually distinct, and making the background art move in parallax would be very cool.
Fun little logic puzzle game. It took me a minute but I got the hang of it without the hints and summoned 3 cats ^-^. Great pixel art
Very funny game, I like that it doesn't take itself too seriously and kept catching me out! Got a final score of TOO MUCH Nice work on avoiding the theme too ;) I've done the same with some jams haha.
