You got so much done in such a short time span!! Congrats! It would have been even better with something like little missions (to make you feel like you're accomplishing something) & more options for filling & cake flavor, but it's already nice to play it as is 😊.
Tank control & relaxing can't go together at all for me, but loved everything else.
PossibleBugLD56.png what...? can't rate?
Amazing graphics!! It's difficult to get used to controlling the rollbugs, but it's worth it.
Concept & puzzles were cool but I became dizzy playing it. If you further develop it please add an option for those like me who are a bit sensitive to quick turning movements😭 I also got a bit lost first since I didn't see the red light indicating where to check the ship. Leaving that apart, I liked the characters, and the color aberration gave an interesting mood to it.
It's addicting 🤣 I like most of the art, the character doesn't seem to fit at all for my taste but that doesn't affect the fun, still loved it. I like that it wasn't the typical type of cat rescue!
I really like the possession mechanic (especially as a fan of Abe's), and the graphics and music crate a really good ambience.
I got stuck in South Swamp, I don't really get if I have to combine certain races or how I am supposed to win if my characters are always inferior. Are rounds accumulable maybe? It would come in handy to have more context (in-game or in the description) and more visual and/or audio feedback. I liked the style overall, and the "collect them all" objective. With a little more detail in its functioning, it could be a good game.
HAHAHAH - The press spacebar quickly thing was a bit unbalanced, I was scared that my keyboard could break, but yeah, I suppose you wanted the player to really put on the shoes of the hamster. Really good pixel art.
It's hilarious and I like how you changed the perspective of tiny creatures, but it needs a bit more balancing, it's almost impossible to get anything done with so much going on at the same time. Yet the Godzilla is very cute 😎
Love it! With more pet types and some ambient audio it would rock!!
Collisions need to be more precise in order to truly enjoy the game since it's a bit frustrating to die before you touch things, and it's confusing to be able to jump again when you touch the side of a platform but not the wall. It would also be a lot better with better-calculated jumps (more landing directly and not on the side and then jumping again), especially at the beginning, where I think you have to jump to one side and then change to the other mid-air). I also heard the sound preview "watermark"?? Or is it a joke (seriously, is it? If so, then it could be considered funny). The idea is very original and fun, and the graphics are a good beginning, but it seems some are not in the same pixel size? If not, maybe the problem is the level of detail that makes it look like it. Last con is the rotated pixels in the animation, but that's understandable in a game jam. Don't be discouraged by my feedback, though, I still believe it's fun and that it has a lot of potential.
The graphics & animations were really good, and the theme, sound and story were fun. I wish it had felt more like a game, like having some reaction when not pressing the button till the bar runs out for example. Something like "see? almost invincible!". I was also confused in two specific moments: when the tardigrade started floating out of nowhere in the radiation scene, and in the last space scene (I wandered for minutes to nowhere, then played everything again to find out what I actually had to do). I don't know to what extent these were intentional, but it would be better with a fix or more context. Anyway, nice game overall! Love tardigrades.
Amazing graphics, great voices & puzzles.
It was short & fun. Perfect game jam game. The big pixelated leaves background killed the mood a bit, but all the other graphics were nice, Rodrick is very cute:3 I like how it incorporated even an in-game tutorial. Wow. I would love to see an expanded version with some more mechanics and characters in the future, keeping the story/theme as is.
@alexascher The bug shouldn't happen anymore, if you try it again, please tell me if everything works fine for you! I also added some more info in the description, since for now I didn't have time to make extra improvements in-game, but I plan to soon, hopefully, some while the jam extras are still going on.
@wenyu-bao Thanks for your kind comment! Please come back to check for updates, I'm planning on adding some more gameplay😃 I might add more music/SFX too.
@ang-parodi Hi! Thanks for *your* feedback. Working on that too. Do you mean like SFX, different VFX for different interactions...? I would really appreciate further feedback🙌
@tetracold @weirdbitgames Thank you for your nice comments! You truly cheer me up to keep improving the game😊 I already updated it btw~!
@plasmak Thank you for your feedback! I'll keep it in mind :) Adding SFX was one of the other things I wanted to do, but I didn't have time. I want to try more games so I won't be able to do much more before the event finishes, but I'll definitely do it when I can. About UI cues, do you have any specific recommendation? Thx again😊
@plasmak Thank you x1000! I really appreciate you took the time to come back and detail the feedback, it helps a lot!! 🎉👏🏻🫶🏻
I like the concept and how the progression is smooth :) I would play a bigger game with this base!
littlegardenprank.png Got trapped a few times & it's not very laptop-friendly (can't use character's both hands to break things while rotating with the attached mouse). But it was funny.
