Easily my favourite game yet. You did such a good job on this, and it was a compo!!???

Easily my favourite game yet. You did such a good job on this, and it was a compo!!???
Enjoyable experience. Kind of reminded me of Dope wars in its trading mechanisms.
Unique experience! Took a while to figure out how things worked... but then I discovered you guys created a manual!!!! Who does that!!??? Brilliant developers, that's who!
Very fun game. Took me a while to understand the radar mechanics, but when I did I loved it.
Fun game. It took a while to figure out the controls as they were posted on the games page instead of the game proper. I like the clever theme, and the music.
Thank you all for the feedback. Yes, I definitely want to make the pull stronger and more consistent since it is a core feature of the game. The wasd movement was kind of an afterthought for slight adjustment to the chameleon since I was having a rough time with the tongue momentum mechanic. Also I'm impressed with that score!
And @Zirrus yes, they actually were originally flies. But when I thought about it... flies don't kill things like chameleons, so I needed a similar looking creature that had the theoretical ability to defeat the chameleon if touched. Also yes, that wasn't a build, it was the gamefiles. I thought that was the upload where I was supposed to submit my code for compo proof. I was wrong.
The highest score I know of was 450. And that guy literally didn't use wasd at all. He just let the tongue move him around.
And ya, Godot was an interesting experience. Interacting with nodes feel similar to interacting with React components.
Love the Background. Good job on everything. Good use of the theme with the edges falling away.
Fun and simple game. It took me a bit to figure the controls out. and I would have liked to see my score. I can easily see myself spending a lot of time trying to figure out strategies for playing this.
Fun game. I was having issues with the crosshairs staying visible after each leveling screen.
Interesting experience. I love the physics in the game, and the artwork. Good job.
Very unique idea. Good use of physics. I really hope this game does well, because I thought it was one of the more clever games I've seen this year.
Interesting choice of game. This is the first text adventure I've gone on in Ludum Dare. Great job with the art.
Fun concept. Like what the others said, the controls are confusing. I wasn't able to figure out why I wasn't shooting sometimes and not rotating, or moving other times. I suspect a few adjustments would make this an excellent experience.
Very interesting mechanic. I loved playing this game. Good use of the theme as well.
I played this game with my wife. It was fun. Couldn't find ending 4, but will try again this evening.
Lot's of potential here. It was fun exploring, and made me want to keep moving through the level. I got a bit frustrated with some of the collision detection preventing my jumping when a wall is next to me.
great idea! Love the random noise added to the motion to keep you on your toes.
Just lost half an hour of my life. I will probably lose more in the future in order to find out how many levels there are.
