Fits the theme, and I appreciate the narrative concept. I liked the upgrade aspect, but unfortunately the game would often generate the same powerup multiple times in the same wave ('wasting a choice'), and it was unfortunate losing access to power ups and weapons when picking up a different powerup of the same type; roguelikes where you become ultrapowerful are hard to balance but very fun. Also, the enemies would often spawn on top of each or push themselves into corners (especially the scientists, although they aren't "enemies"). Overall it was a decent shooter and I am a big fan of the android / robot escape idea.

Godly

Yeah--the game was built around that 3 upgrade concept where you can only keep one at a time--it's how we tried to showcase the Game Jam theme with there being limited space for upgrades. Thank you for playing, and for the feedback!

I admire your art. Are these your drawings? The atmosphere is very exciting, I enjoyed it. Here are a few points that were discovered: 1. Bullets from a sniper rifle are not visible, 2. The player could be punished for killing people in bathrobes, because these people are not dangerous. Overall very good job, congratulations.

Hah, we really appreciate the compliments, thank you. And yes, all the art was drawn by our two artists during the jam.

I had a sword a gun and a sniper rifle throughout my runs. Quite an enjoyable experience. Thank you for making this.

I really liked the game's ideas, and the initial arts with a handmade feel give it a great design. I thought that this well done work on the art ended up not being transferred to the scenery, it looks very robust. I'm a fan of wave games so when it comes to choosing a game genre, I have nothing to worry about lol. There is a bug that I don't know why after a while the bullets started to disappear, they kill but are not visible.

Fun little wave shooter! It would be nice to see what upgrades I have at any given time; I wasn't sure if they were stacking or going away at first. The sniper rifle seemed to miss frequently even at point blank range-- I don't mind not seeing its bullets, but it seemed to be malfunctioning. The story seemed irrelevant to the game since it only appeared when you died. But the choices were interesting and I had fun. Good job!

nice game... I would have enjoyed it more but for some reason it was lagging a lot

nice graphics in the opening scene, I believe that if the scientist was in the preview image, the game would have more ratings :)

I really enjoyed the fast pacing and challenge in the game. It was a great experience!

The game is nice, but a few feedback elements would have been nice, like information on the duration of buffs, or indicators to let us know when we've been hit. I played my first game as a sniper, and after a while, I got the impression that the aiming of the weapon became approximate, I wasn't hitting where I was shooting (I didn't have a bonus that increased the spread, I don't know if that would have been a factor, but you never know). Otherwise, it's a cool idea, and with additional modifiers and bonuses it could be really interesting! (The drawings are really nice)

Had some performance issues on the mac version, not a great frame rate. The music's great, got me pumped to escape! Really tight iteration on the roguelike element was cool - feels like you're making a lot of progress. Cool entry!

Great artwork and game!

I was not able to play the game  As a suggestion for next time try creating a web export, for some of us that's the only accessible way to try other people's games! Let me know if you do a web export and I will definitely give it a try!

I like the idea of this game, the graphics could have been better, but for a prototype it's enough. Keep up the good work!
