LD35 — Shapeshift

shapeshift beat by Allov 2016-04-19T00:19:00

Fun concept! Liked the music and overall feel.

I could've used a bit more to ease me into the game and some more depth to keep me trying.

However, great game for a jam! Well done

Moveless Chess by Beavl 2016-04-19T02:50:00

Cool mechanic! More levels!

Astro Zoids by pkenney 2016-04-19T00:26:00

This is nice, I like that you started with awkward controls and made it fun from there, but I feel it may be more fun if you rethink the controls to be less 'awkward'

No matter what you choose to do, nice work! It's a gooda game.

Shape Shooters by Funske 2016-04-19T01:59:00

Glad to see another web based game! I like all the different shape shifting elements you put in. The music was awesome too, it made my gf dance!

The Dark Room by Laralyn 2016-04-19T00:35:00

Great writing! Though I did not conclude the story yet, I intend to. Nice to see some story based games in the jam for variety. Well done!

OUROBOROS by undefinist 2016-04-19T01:53:00

It's really good! I can't get past the 4th level, but I really liked it.

Well done!

BrainRequired by Geckoo1337 2016-04-19T00:55:00

Great polish! Great art! Great sound! Great game!

Will have to finish the later levels some other time, but its terrific for a jam. Well done!

Under and Above by Xinelu 2016-04-18T13:09:00

It's fun, and like others said, reminds me of spore's cell mode. I think with a bit more polish it could be a great game. Really liked the background music, surprised you didn't allow for audio votes!

ShootShift by elkiwydev 2016-04-18T16:05:00

Fantastic entry! I love roguelikes and this is a new favorite for me. Reminded me of 868-Hack in terms of aesthetic :)

Blobs by Swynfel 2016-04-19T00:16:00

I don't usually like puzzle games made for jams since there isn't usually enough time to play test and balance the difficulty curve. This was well done for a first jam. You even got audio in! Well done ++

Drift Shift by Bailman03 2016-04-18T16:58:00

Great mechanics for drifting! As a sandbox its amazing, as it game, it needs more to keep challenging the player, but for a jam, fantastic work!

Magic Shape by LeoThurler 2016-04-18T23:46:00

It's pretty decent. Art and music are nice for a jam. The game play is a bit simple, and I would prefer keyboard controls over mouse.

ShapeGrid by matiasbontempo 2016-04-19T00:21:00

Great concept, great graphics! Felt very polished, like a premium mobile app minus the audio. I think you could make an awesome finished product out of this, go for it!

The Tortoise and the Hare and the Snake by Charzendat 2016-04-18T16:56:00

This is great! Really fun concept, well balanced and executed.

Graphics work well for the gameplay, and the instructions are short and sweet

ShapeQuest by Penthaquill 2016-04-19T01:41:00

There's not really enough to go on, would like to see what comes next.

SUPER DEEP GAME BRO by Membrane 2016-04-18T13:15:00

It's very interesting, I like the mechanic and the level design, it curves in difficulty nicely, I played on mute so I didn't rate audio.

I found you could cheat by shifting people under you, then jumping on top of them when you need to get higher. Perhaps you should prevent that.

Color shift by tozzi_a 2016-04-18T13:11:00

Couldn't play it, you should compile it to something other people can run

You're a Floor Lamp Now by blinry 2016-04-19T00:44:00

I see the witness reference in the grandfather clock! Very very innovative and great job taking liberty with the theme for humorous effect. Wasn't fully drawn into the gameplay, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

PS Thanks for checking out stellar pendulum!

Tito's Revenge by brinkhousegames 2016-04-19T00:47:00

Very polished for a jam game! Love top down shooters, and this was good fun to play. Would've liked to see more varied enemy types, but perhaps I just didn't get far enough. Either way, it's a fantastic foundation for a finished game!

Exhuman by Arvydas 2016-04-19T00:07:00

Great game! Difficulty curve at start was a nightmare with the lazer birds. I loved the sound effects and the art work though! Well done ++

Unbecoming by tomlum 2016-04-19T01:01:00

Wow! Fantastic work. Such a cohesive game with a real story and message. Love to see one of these in a jam, adds to the variety! Thank you!

color shift by ninja00283 2016-04-19T00:10:00

It's simple and it works, but it leaves a bit to be desired. I liked that it was fast paced, but didn't feel any reason to continue playing for more than a few minutes. Nice for a jam!

Shape Escape by WeaverDeveloper 2016-04-19T02:23:00

Excellent game! Deserves far more attention :)

Really liked the mechanics, very challenging and engaging!

Thanks, and well done!

Squarcle by bagface 2016-04-19T01:05:00

It's cute :) I liked the mechanic, and the simple instructions. Reminded me of wario land there. Didn't play to the end, but enjoyed it none the less

LD36 — Ancient Technology

Siege Climber by masamunedragon 2016-08-29T03:22:00

It's a bit hard to dodge the falling objects, but I like the concept of climbing a tower in first person. Maybe you could be climbing a rope, and jump off the tower to dodge more easily?

Water Pig's Equation by Diz Three 2016-08-30T18:28:00

I like the gameplay concept here, but the execution is lacking. Nice work, and hope you keep jamming!

S**ON by jakatpemadi 2016-08-30T18:24:00

Really weird, but nice work anyways :)

Artefact-O 36 by SamuelSousa 2016-08-30T18:22:00

Really liked the weird aesthetic and store line :) Nicely done for a jam!

A Dragons Tale by TiByte 2016-08-30T01:06:00

Nice work! Short and sweet, but I would have liked more of an ending. Good job with the source! Seems well organized, you could have easily put this together in a few hours if you had it well planned

CANOE & SPEAR by BluShine 2016-08-29T03:25:00

Very disorienting control mechanic, I like it! Takes some getting used to, but I really liked the art and sound effects :) Nice work!

Temple Quest by Vaiaphraim 2016-08-30T00:56:00

I like the music :) Very strange little game, nice job

Ancient Siege by dwhiffing 2016-08-30T18:21:00

Thanks for the feedback everyone :) Am looking forward to doing a more finished version. Plan to have more units, more instructions, better ai with more difficulty levels, two player mode.etc Keep the comments coming!

Crazy Catapult by conrad123 2016-08-29T03:18:00

It's pretty fun! I might like it better if the ball had physics, and things got knocked around. Nice job :)

Dinosty Warriors by PeachTreeOath 2016-08-30T18:23:00

Oh my god, this is the most fun ive had playing a jam game in a long time! Thank you!

Temple Plunder by Fidrik 2016-08-30T01:13:00

Nicely done :) I think it was a bit too dark, and I would have preferred not having to click on the treasure to pick it up, just walking into it would be make it less tedious. Considering the time limit, this is well polished! Great work

Reinvent the Wheel by ratly 2016-08-30T01:25:00

Really nice! I would've liked to skip the tutorial after the first run through, and I didn't realize I could jump right away. Still had fun though :)

Brainfuck: The Game by PotatoIng_ 2016-08-29T03:15:00

Pretty awesome idea! Too hard for me right now, but I'll definitely try again later :) Nice work

LDCode by rudinskiz 2016-08-30T01:16:00

Not really a game, but I like seeing this programming challenges, put in a few assertions and its like TDD!

Nice work, would love to see it with tests/challenges
