Very cool mechanic for navigation. I'm sure multiplayer would be awesome. The AI was a bit too brutal.

Very disorienting control mechanic, I like it! Takes some getting used to, but I really liked the art and sound effects :) Nice work!

Very nice! I didn't get the controls at first but when I did it was great! Love the graphics. This is the first pico8 game I played..

For some reason I am stuck on the menu, pressing enter doesnt seem to work? It just says Continue / Reset ? :(

Oh man, I like this. It took me a second to remember how to paddle a canoe. That's a really fun control mechanic.

Of course nice, bright, energetic overall look too.

Ah this is great! Brilliant control scheme, would love to try it multiplayer. Very pretty too and the sound effects are nice. Great job!

Hi, nice game and congratulations ! Simple mechanics that still offered a decent amount of challenge. We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.

Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description. (you can already find several games from the jam there)

First PICO-8 game I've seen on ludum dare, going to try it on my pocket chip at some point. Very nice, fun game. The sounds got slightly annoying but then they work with the art and type of game. One thing though, when you paddle on the left, you rotate left. But I'm fairly sure that in a canoe you would rotate right. Though that might just be me being a derp

I am not smart enough to start the game :\

At the title screen, you use the left/right arrow keys to select the number of players, and the up/down arrow keys to switch between the two gamemodes. Z or C starts the game. You can't play "versus" with only 1 player, so it won't let you start the game unless you choose a different mode, or add more players. Hope that makes sense!

I love it! It's like Towerfall Ascention, but with canoes!

Add a helper text to tell the user how to start the game, and this is gold. I'd love to see some bonus weapons, different maze arenas, and so forth.
