Okay. Wow. I loved this. The music, the visuals, the imaginative world, I adore everything you did with this entry! It was such a beautiful experience, especially once I realized there's not just the one track that could play! The way elements popped in and filled up with color complimented the Moebius art style. It's a simple concept, but the execution is top notch. I guess if I have one criticism to give, the option to invert controls along the Y axis would be one? But the lack of them did not detract from the experience at all.

The Lost Letters of Harry Williams by givit-game-studios 2019-10-09T19:18:51Z

An overall impressive experience, especially for the timeframe of the Ludum Dare! The basic premise definitely had me hooked, and figuring the story along as I found the letters (I didn't find all of them, and it's already been mentioned finding the second one is hard) added to the experience. The nights tended to get a little too dark for me so I usually waited them out. But I did find a letter in complete darkness once, so the candles were a good touch! The audio and the overall ambiance was also very well done.

The Legacy of a Loser by citsua 2019-10-09T21:50:49Z

Really liked it overall! There's a lot going on, even if the events repeat and it was nice everytime something new popped up. I get why there was no change to the rock paper scissors game or that things didn't variate as much as I'd expected, but this is so well done for the game jam time frame. I'd say that maybe an indicator when a new job became available would be nice change - stayed on as a waiter a little too long. But overall, great little game that I'll definitely be giving a couple more plays!

Hah! Loved the build up of anticipation before it fell. The music cues were great too, and Eurobeat is always good. The cat running on the wheel was pretty hilarious.

When it got too fast the flickering lights did get a bit annoying the rest of it? Neon and good ol' Deja Vu? Great stuff! Wish there was more of it.

Fanfare Fantasy by Valden 2019-10-08T13:28:29Z

Ah this was a great little piece! The music bits were great, making me want to see what each new recruit would add to the overall theme. And the resounding final battle theme kept that mood going. I didn't really have any trouble until the highest difficulty, but I did play through the game twice on the other two. Really liked how polished the overall experience was, and honestly it'd be pretty neat to see more if you ever choose to expand on this.

I guess my one criticism would be having the arrows stand out from the markers, for some parts it felt like they blended in - especially initially when I didn't notice the arrows moving since they game started almost immediately.

I'm definitely going to give it a go on Pro again for sure!

the universe, i think by TheInkSkeleton 2019-10-12T00:28:26Z

Even unfinished, this was a neat little thing. Also using Bill Wurtz was pretty nice! Would love to see what you had visioned in its entirety~ Hopefully maybe in the future yeah?

Spectacular work! Such an original use of the theme, and the implementation was wonderful. I did my best to find all the words I could, not sure if I got them all - but it didn't matter. I had a great time exploring, finding the words, and the ethereal feeling of how the world grew or appeared as I played further. The amount of work and polish is reall impressive for the game jam timeframe! I did have issues with mouse sensitivity at first though, but that's about all the criticism I really have for this.

Woodland Zero by Shredmer 2019-10-11T14:21:31Z

This was great! Keeping track of both the Squirrel and the blocks got pretty intense as the game went on, and the fact that you have a leaderboard for it going really adds to the game. Made me wanna go back and play it a few times just to see if I could climb that ladder. Also works as a 2-player game too! Though I found balancing the two controls myself a lot more enticing. Solid work and really good game, well done!

I love where you took the theme for this!

It's aesthetically very nice, and the execution of gameplay elements reminded me of DLC Quest a little bit, except that you got your abilities as you played. Unlocking the audio was a pleasant surprise, and I really liked how the game made you change up how you played by taking away abilities or changing movement. The 'fans' did get a little frustrating at times, so did the jump, but the rest of it was good enough that it didn't really bother me at all.

Really great little game overall. You've certainly got a lot going here!

CELL WARP / セルワープ by irock 2019-10-09T20:40:25Z

While the split controls - moving with the mouse and attacking with the arrows felt odd, that oddness didn't last long. You've got a pretty good concept here, and I can see why the controls are the way they are. It's all good, the audio, he visuals, the presentation. Really great work!

The Reader's Encounter by xlomid 2019-10-11T11:37:46Z

An inspired concept and executed so very, very well! Really liked the tone and the ambiance the words and the music set up. The idea to manipulate words was pretty engaging though it took me a moment to figure out you had to swap the letters rather than drag one between the others. Played it twice to get both endings!

Become Human Again by Cybikitty 2019-10-09T18:04:23Z

This was a neat little game. Really liked the mood set up with the visuals and the music. I don't really have many criticisms that haven't been brought up already, though I will add if anything the flashing red background was a bit disconcerting.

Great use of the theme though! I still had a good time~

Trueque by victor_reiner 2019-10-09T19:38:26Z

Neat little trading game. Really liked the background art and audio, and the humor was pretty good with all the items on offer. Made me chuckle more than a few times!

Gun Fury by Gehad 2019-10-09T19:25:49Z

Good straightforward game! Yeah, I echo the point about the movement and the increasing speed of the enemies to make it more challenging. Really did like that there was more than one gun too. Perhaps being able to dash while having a weapon would have been cooler too?

Good game though! I had a good time playing~
