Just wanted to let you know, on your itch.io page you have

"Entry for Ludum Dare 60 - "Signal""

But its Ludum Dare 59 :) I even see in your game you have the boat that says LD 59 lol.

Aside from that, the sound effects are absolutely hilarious and easily my favorite part. The first time I got a low signal and heard the "mmhmm" and then a 2 bar signal up to a 3 I laughed.

mdotedot 2026-04-20 08:43

Excellent little game. I wish I could earn more time when gold collection! Good music and graphics. Very good entry.

rafa-fiedo 2026-04-20 08:43

@william-corrin haha, for the full time I thought that was a ludum dare 60 and just after first upload I noticed that it is Ludum Dare 59, so I needed to fix it and I forgot to correct it on itch.io page. thanks for notice :p

thanks for playing! haha, recording goofy sounds is the best part of game jam for me

jk5000 2026-04-20 08:53

A sweet, fun and friendly little game. Liked the visuals and the music. Perhaps the timer was a bit short. Overall a good jam game. Well done.

pimeko 2026-04-20 15:38

Haha fun entry, loved the little "Mmh Mmh". Kind of reminded me of Zelda Phantom Hourglass' digging mechanic on islands!

neowhoru 2026-04-20 15:58

Nice little entry - i got 300 points max :D sometimes it was hard to find hehe.

Btw. your link to the github repo is not reachable (maybe private?).

rafa-fiedo 2026-04-21 06:59

@jk5000 @pimeko @neowhoru Thanks for playing!

@neowhoru yes! forgot to make it public :P fixed! btw. nice score!

vanny96 2026-04-21 11:09

Very fun entry!! The gameplay loop is fully realized and it could be a nice time killer! As someone mentioned, having more time gained with each gold found would be nice, but that's a small thing overall. Good job!!

mossgames 2026-04-21 11:52

Great work! I enjoy playing it I got a full feel for the game! It would have been helpful if the signal gave you an idea of the general direction

pres2300 2026-04-21 16:48

Nice solid entry! You nailed the simple yet intuitive gameplay that fits the theme really well. I really liked the SFX and music. Nice work!

shernik 2026-04-21 19:12

Great SFX

rafa-fiedo 2026-04-21 19:18

Thanks for playing!

@vanny96 haha, yes! After I played so many times by myself I thought that I gave to much time lol, at first I gave it only 30sec. Playtesters are so needed!

@mossgames yea! that could be some powerup also, to be able to use once per few second.

@pres2300 Thanks! SFX and music are always my favorite part to do :D

@shernik thanks!

purpledartfrog 2026-04-21 19:39

Absolutely cute game.... love the graphics and the ease of which I could just start playing.... everything made sense and felt great. Only thing is that it's maybe a bit to precise with where you need to dig.

Fantastic job :thumbsup_tone1:

Left you a rating

bushfire 2026-04-21 20:21

I love the music and the art. Simple and fun game. I keep seeing a +5 at the time each time i find the treasure, but it doesn't actually increase the time. Is it supposed to increase the time?

Edit: After some more testing, it turns out it adds the +5 seconds right before it tells you it adds the seconds.

helagos 2026-04-21 20:35

Very good little game. Graphic are goods, music is cool (even if i would not have chose something like that for this sort of game) I just would make it easier, giving more time and/or a bigger range for detection. Well done !

cogcomp 2026-04-21 20:43

I like the wifi-style signal feedback and the game idea in general but I doesn't feel natural that the character can't walk around while checking the signal, but I guess that would probably make the game too easy

bonedaddy 2026-04-21 20:54

My kind of gameplay :D

I found this pretty fun. It can be a tad finnicky given how precise you need to be sometimes, maybe making it less precise the longer you're on one signal would help. I could see myself playing it more if I could get the time to not run out so quickly. Great style too

sinemual 2026-04-22 04:24

Great music and voice acting! Enjoyable gameplay!

rafa-fiedo 2026-04-22 07:43

Thanks for playing and all the feedback!

@purpledartfrog yea, definitely I would increase a 'dig' area like 10%-15% next time

@bushfire nice notice! yea! that's a little bug, I messed up with the 'godot signals' and didn't have time to fix it ;) so the time is increased but before '+5' sign

@helagos yee! I totally understand what you mean by that, the music is more like a "team... let's rock the future and kill that end boss, we can die, but we will survive" and no like 'dig dig dig, find treasure' :D

@cogcomp hm... never though about it, but you're right in logic sense of this :D

@bonedaddy Really glad that I hit your style!. yee, the range of finding the gold is 50pixels, it could gave more like 75 or even 100. Next time!

@sinemual thanks!

maggardjosh 2026-04-22 17:16

Very good entry! The sfx cracked me up and the gameplay was simple but addictive. Awesome job!

alex-mulkerrin 2026-04-22 18:09

This is an excellently realised little gem of a game. The sound effects and graphics are charming and the gameplay is very easy to get into. The progression of voice lines was great to hear the first time. While the time limit is short I found that meant I easily wanted to play again. I thought the music was so nice I downloaded the repository to see how much longer it plays for :p A really good entry!

ansible 2026-04-22 18:09

I really tried for more and just couldn't get it, i was so close though! This really got me (i made a dig game last jam too might have helped). Loved it, such smooth mechanics and funny sounds. Bigger timer as others have said but perfect loop, nice!

rafa-fiedo 2026-04-22 19:14

thanks for playing it guys!

@maggardjosh thanks!

@alex-mulkerrin haha, that was the idea to play it once again and again :D About music it ends after 1:10 min so that it the second reason why the timer is short :P haha, nice idea to jump into the repo to check the music xD

@ansible wow, very nice score! Just checked your last game, it could be reused with current theme haha, also nice idea that the player is just slower with the radar. ps. after score of 700 music ends :P (but ofcourse it loops)

avhatar 2026-04-23 21:10

That voice, damn... I'm kind of sad you didn't break into singing with a guitar, but honestly your "umm..."s were already almost a song on their own. Really cool — the rules seem simple, but it's actually hardcore, I only managed to score 400 points.

jejkobb 2026-04-24 09:47

This was fun, feels like the perfect scope for a game jam. Love the art style, and the character is very charming.

rafa-fiedo 2026-04-24 15:25

@avhatar oh, thanks! Next time maybe I will add 2 music track, one of them would be singing haha. Score of 400 is very good result, congratulation! Maybe I should give 1minute instead :D

@jejkobb thanks! The hand-drawn goofy style are always great to make! "perfect scope" thanks! It always hard to do not over-scope your game! I always try to make basic mechanic works, do some assets and... 2 days gone :P

roroto-sic 2026-04-24 22:27

Very fun game ! Good gameplay ! Cute art and I LOVE THE AUDIO (music and sfx)

rhewid 2026-04-25 20:11

Cute art and nice music. Nice little digging game. Would be cool if it was a little bit more forgiving with the distance :D Tried multiple runs but couldnt get more than 300 dignal.png

darkshadow 2026-04-26 12:50

Lovely game, really funny audio cues as well

rafa-fiedo 2026-04-27 07:40

@roroto-sic thanks! the audio is always the must fun to work with :D

@rhewid yup, I know what you mean, especially the difference between the strongest signals should be little smaller or give some hits to users :D 300 is a very good score!

@darkshadow thanks for playing and feedback!

mizaless 2026-04-30 19:25

That turned out to be an interesting mini-game. The graphics and atmosphere are great. I’d like to see more gameplay.

ruthiepee 2026-05-02 11:24

I managed to get 400 but I think I just got insanely lucky with a 1-shot at the last second haha. The sound effects and music are the best part!
